Pretty Little Punchers vs The Wannabees Flyweight Mini-Stable War Fight 3

Before: Danielle and Zoey are the heart of this stable conflict. Zoey got her first FCBA win by getting a TKO6 stoppage against Danielle. It is quite clear that very little has been resolved between the two and both are eager for a second tangle. That it will be the deciding bout of the three-fight mini-card only makes the fighters even more eager to have at one another.

Danielle takes the podium in jeans and one of her trademark DC Comics logo tee-shirts (featuring “Supergirl", of course). She gives Zoey a defiant look: “OK, you beat me the first time. You gave me that Walk of Shame. I told you then we would meet again and that time I’d beat you, Zoe. So here we are and get ready for retribution! I’m going make sure you know I am really the best fighter and so will everyone else when I drag your bombed out body around the ring!”

Zoey Deutch gives a theatrical yawn and acts not at all impressed by Danielle’s dire threats. She strolls to the podium in jeans and “THE WANNABEES ARE WINNERS” t-shirt and says: “I realize I dented your ego by beating you, Dani dear, but the fact is I was better than you. I will ALWAYS be better than you. Just get used to losing again. It’ll be hard., but some things you just have to accept. My whipping your arrogant ass is one of them!”

Danielle not pleased: “I will never accept any such thing! Get ready for first ‘DC Campbell KO Special Beatdown’—I hope it will be the first of many!”

Now Zoey looks irked: “You are a conceited little jerk! I’m going to knock your arrogant ass around that ring and hang you up to dry!”

“In your dreams, Zoey the Zero!” DC fired back.

“They’ll be in your nightmare when I get through with you!”

Danielle is out of her chair and looks ready to start mixing up with Zoey right there. Alas, for catfight fans, Security has been put on special alert for these two and several large gentlemen appear to lead the angry young women away. Fans are disappointed, but there is now no doubt what the ‘grudge match’ of the mini-card is going to be.

Fight night finds Danielle in a fighting bikini, black bikini bottoms and tan top with black lace edging. Black gloves and boots, tan laces. Danielle’s hair in a ponytail with a tan ribbon. Zoey in white bikini bottoms and top with blue lace edgings. White gloves and boots, blue laces. Hair pulled back into a single braid. No ribbon. Two fighters look eager to go, jostling forward at each other and irritating the referee until he can finally finish his instructions and get them off to their separate corners.

R1: No surprise as the two fired-up young flyweights tear across the ring and start flaying away at each other out of sheer pent-up fury. Not exactly a clinic on proper punching technique, but the all-out emotion is impressive. Punches landing to head, body, side and straight into pretty faces. It takes a good two minutes for these wild attacks to settle down into something that looks like a fight plan. Danielle is going for Zoey’s head, but Zoey’s getting some head movement going late so that she is not such a good target. At the same time, Zoey has begun to concentrate on hammering DC’s belly button with some strong hooks, though Danielle seems to be ignoring them as she finally finds Zoey’s chin. Swatting rights and lefts to the chin make Zoey shudder and stumble back behind a hastily flurry of defensive jabs. DC can’t get through Zoey’s defenses, but she ends up winning a close round on points.

R2: The furious pace of round one continues as Zoey and Dani fly across the ring and get right back at the punching battle. Dani seems determined to bang her way through Zoey’s high guard, but Zoey bobbing and weaving much more. Dani starting to look frustrated as her increasingly elusive opponent and lunges forward trying to cut off the ring. Zoey reacts with a duck down as a DC right whistles over her head and then pops up with powerful uppercut to the chin! DANIELLE CAMPBELL GOES DOWN! Caught flush on the chin, DC staggers back, arms waving and lands with a SMACK on her behind. She sits there with a shocked look on her face as the referee moves in. DC pulls herself together in time to rise and beat the count, but she’s lost a lot of fire and goes defensive to finish the round. Zoey trying to finish her off, but can’t quite land the punch that would do it. Still, The Wannabees fighter comes away with a strong win on points and the valuable knockdown.

R3: Danielle definitely showing the effects of that knockdown this round. She maintains a decent jab and upper body movement to try to cope with a fresh offensive from Zoey. However the PLP fighter not showing much interest in defense and seems to just be trying to get through the round. Zoey circling, looking for openings and does have some success to DC’s body, but Dani is keeping her head well-protected most of the time. Round goes wide to Zoey Deutch.

R4: Danielle gets back into this fight with a flurry of punching as the round gets started. Zoey more than happy to take up the challenge the two fire away mostly to the body. Zoey giving DC’s belly a real shelling, but she is getting her own midsection and chest banged right back. This attack on her jugs brings some answering jugg jolting from Zoey to DC’s chest. DC not liking this, though she tries to hang on, but gets driven back by some hard hooks to the midsection that have her gasping for air as the round ends. Zoey manages to win a close, hard-fought round as the judges add up the points for this stanza.

R5: Zoey comes out driving hard against Danielle. Nice shifting attack body-head-body keeps DC on the defensive. Zoey finding more success as she works DC’s torso, smiting her belly, breasts and ribs. Dani not liking any of this, but she is patient, absorbing Zoey’s leather and jabbing back while waiting for an opening. Zoey grows absorbed in her attack and suddenly Danielle brings a crashing hook into Zoey’s belly. Zoey doubles up in gasping shock and Dani then brings a smashing right to Zoey’s wide-open jaw. ZOEY DEUTCH SENT SPINNING AWAY AND SPRAWLS ON HER FACE! DC retreats to neutral corner as the stunned Zoey struggles to rise as the referee’s count rolls on. Zoey makes it up at “…NINE!..” but she has a bewildered what-just-happened look on her face. Fight resumes with Zoey all buttoned up on defense and not giving SDC any more chances, but as the bell sounds it is clear Danielle Campbell has evened things up with that knockdown. Zoey tries to hide it, but she looks unsteady walking about to her stool. DC looking grim and focused as she goes to her corner.

R6: Zoey clearly wanting to erase the memory of that knockdown goes on the attack at the start of this round. However she doesn’t have the crisp timing she showed earlier and Dani. Danielle is able to blunt the attack. Zoey seems to sense this isn’t working and starts trying to force her way in and shake up Dani with some head shots. DC jabbing back hard catches Zoey in the face with her counters and brings her offensive to a grinding halt. Then with lightning speed., Danielle shifts to the offense and brings crisscrossing rights and lefts crunching into Zoey’s cheekbones and jaw. Zoey dazed, is slow to react and Danielle just blazes away. Zoey floundering backwards hits the ropes just as a DC uppercut to the chin lifts her up on her toes. Zoey’s legs then give out and she topples over onto her side ending up parallel to the bottom rope. DC to neutral corner as the referee moves in. Zoey’s teammates screaming, begging, pleading for her to “GET UP! PLEASE GET UP! ZOEY!” Zoey makes a valiant effort to pull herself up by pulling herself up the ropes, but suddenly her grip fails and she crashes down onto her face just as the referee reaches “…NINE!...TEN!...YER OUTTTTT!!!”

The Winner: Danielle Campbell of the Pretty Little Punchers KO6!

The Pretty Little Punchers Win the mini-stable war 2 bouts to 1.

After: Ashley Benson and Janel Parrish climb into the ring to hug a thrilled Danielle Campbell. Meanwhile Sammi Hanratty and Sarah Hyland have assisted The Wannabees corner crew in getting Zoey back to their corner. Sammi and Sarah do their best to console a weeping Zoey who keeps saying: “I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry I let you down!” Danielle has her gloves removed and strides over to Zoey (with Ashley and Janel close behind as back-up).

“On your feet, cry-baby, you got a walk to do!” Danielle commands.

Zoey looks up with anger on her swollen face: “Don’t you dare call me a cry-baby! I’m crying because I am so mad I couldn’t beat you!”

Danielle gives a sneering smile: “You just keep saying that and maybe some day some one will believe it. Now stand up or do I have to for you.”

“Back off Campbell!” Sammi snaps, fists clenched.

“You got no business taunting her!” Sarah adds (her fists are clenched too)

“You two want a fight?” Ashley tells Sammi and Sarah.

“We’re more than happy to give it to you!” Janel says and it is a tense moment.

Zoey then totters to her feet: “This is between Campbell and me. OK, Dani, I’m up, show me off while you can. I promise you—next time we meet I’ll be the one showing your busted up face off to the crowd!”

Danielle spins Zoey around, puts her left arm in a hammerlock behind her back and then they are off around the ring. All the hostility between the two young fighters is on display as Zoey starts struggling against the hammerlock and, at one point, trips DC so that the both of them nearly go down in a heap. Danielle shoves Zoey against ropes and gives her a couple of quick spanks on the bottom. Zoey is furious , but DC tightens the hammerlock to force cooperation as they resume the walk. Meanwhile outraged Sammi Hanratty and Sarah Hyland have to be restrained by Ashley Benson and Janel Parrish. As Dani and Zoey complete the circuit, DC shoves Zoey into the arms of Sammi and Sarah just after Ashley and Janel step aside.

“They’re done!” Danielle announced. “They know we’re in charge of this ring.”

“Time to celebrate it!” chimed in Ashley

“It’s photo op time!” giggles Janel.

Meanwhile Zoey. Sammi and Sarah have been called to the edge of the ring by their trainer Shannen Doherty. There is a whispered conversation which ends with subdued giggles and it looks like something is being put in the ring for The Wannabees…

Meanwhile, Ashley,Danielle and Janel are all posing at center ring,holding hands and raising their arms in joint victory. Suddenly a portion of the crowd starts screaming warnings.The PLP girls don’t noticed until empty water pails come down on their heads! It’s Sammi, Sarah and Zoey! (Where did those pails come from? Shannen Doherty watching from ringside with a smirk on her face!) The three Wannabees girls quickly start banging the head bucketed PLP girls together which produce loud clanks and cries from the trapped Punchers. (How the heck is “The Anvil Chorus” now suddenly being played on the arena loudspeaker?! Shannon is smirking again!) Ashley. Dani and Janel are all rubbery legged when the buckets are removed and then the three are whipped into the ropes. They bounce off only to be clotheslined off their feet by Sammi, Zoey and Sarah hitting the canvas with three loud crashes. Ashley, Janel and Danielle lie there moaning, too stunned to get back on their feet.

Next the vengeful Wannabees hang the dazed PLP girls over the top rope so that their heads. Arms and upper bodies hang out over the arena floor and their lower torso and legs dangle over the ring. Then the gloating Wannabees climb on top the three PLPers . Zoey is astride Danielle. Sarah is atop Ashley. Sammi settles in atop Janel. Zoey grins and cries: “Let’s ride these ornery broncos and show them who is REALLY is charge of this ring!”

“YAA! HOO!” chorus Sammi and Sarah. “LET’S RIDE!”

They then use the top rope to start bouncing atop their helpless “mounts.”

“They’re too slow!” Sarah soon declares started giving Ashley’s bottom some “encouraging” spanks. Very quickly Zoey and Sammi do the same as they all bounce and spank merrily on the top rope. Danielle, Ashley, and Janel start to realize what is going on and cry out, but this just brings more whoops and laughter (as well as more bouncing and spanking) from The Wannabees.

This is all too much for Lucy Hale and Autumn Reeser who climb into the ring in an effort to rescue their teammates. However just as Lucy and Autumn start to rush forward, two figures slip into the ring behind them and grab their ankles. A quick heave and the would-be rescuers have their feet pulled out from under them and they smash face-first into the canvas. Lucy and Autumn lie there groaning, dazed by the sneak attack. Who could have done such a thing? Why it’s Adelaide Kane and Willa Holland from Foxfire! All this gives Sarah,Sammi and Zoey the chance to climb down off their “mounts”, pull Ashley, Janel and Danielle off the ropes and body slam them one on top of the other creating a stack of their rivals. Adelaide and Willa then rush up towing Lucy and Autumn by the hair and slamming them onto the pile! The Wannabee girls are surprised but shake hands over the twitching heap of Punchers.

Then there is a fresh burst of noise from the crowd .Uh-oh—Leah Pipes, Troian Bellisario,Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse are all charging toward the ring! The Wannabees and their unexpected allies all make quick exits before these formidable Puncher reinforcements can get to them. All the second rescue party can do is help their bombed out stablemates back to their dressing rooms. The fickle crowd hoots and jeers adding to the mortification of the team.

Shocking end to what had been a triumphant night for the Punchers!

“We just had to do something,” Sammi Hanratty explains earnestly to Archer News reporter Skip Tracey.”They were rubbing it in and we had to let them know they couldn’t disrespect us like that! Willa and Adelaide? We had no idea they would show up. You’ll have to ask them what all that was about, but we were glad to have some support out there.”

Skip tracks down Willa Holland who says: ”There has been too much talk on social media that Addie and I were not completely loyal to Foxfire because we once had been with the PLP. We have been looking for a way to show whose side we were on and this was just too good an opportunity to pass up.”

“Exactly,” Adelaide chimes in, there are only three Wannabees and we wanted to even things up a bit. Besides, Lucy and Autumn always made jokes about my being ‘Queen Adelaide’.I doubt they are laughing now!”

“We are outraged!”a seething Autumn Reeser tells Skip. “From Shannen Doherty sneaking those buckets to the ring to Kane and Holland joining in! It was all a big trap! They are jealous of our success and want to humiliate us! You bet they all will pay for this—as soon as we can figure out how to do it! But they will pay!”

(Meanwhile the streaming video the mini-PPV and its aftermath is racking up a huge number of hits as fans rush to catch up on what seems to be the FCBA’s latest stable conflict).

The post-fight conflict should not obscure that this was a spirited contest between two talented young fighters. Both had their moments, but Danielle Campbell able R5 knockout turned the tide in her favor. Bitter loss for Ms. Deutch, but she clearly has a future in this highly competitive division. However it must be admitted that Danielle Campbell’s star is shining brighter—at the moment. We shall see what happens to both in times ahead.
