Emily VanCamp versus Margot Robbie
(Marvel versus DC Comics)
(Words & Results: Lookout!)
(Manhattan Beach, CA)

BEFORE:

It's another classic “Marvel versus DC” battle here between Captain America's Emily VanCamp and Suicide Squad's Margot Robbie, as part of the escalating battle between the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), which will play out on the big screen this year and here in the ring tonight as well.

Margot Robbie displaying sunny optimism as she talks to the press before the ring, “To be honest, I respect Emily, but things aren't mutual at all between us. I remember meeting her back at some ABC party when I was on Pan-Am and she was living it up as the star of Revenge. Emily was super snooty and dismissive, which is something I've never forgotten. I know we're both up on the big screen now, but I have big plans after Suicide Squad blows away the box office and after this match, where I'm going to blow away Em's ice queen persona! Sometimes to stay sane, you have to go a little crazy and Emily doesn't realize what she's in for!” as she gives a little wink, skipping away to the ring as DC fans clap enthusiastically.

Emily VanCamp grinning as she talked to the press, “Listen, even though I'm all about Marvel, I'm really looking forward to Suicide Squad – a lot of my interest is because Margot is in it! But, I don't see where she can blame me for how Pan-Am crashed and burned, just like the reviews for her new movie. Is Robbie going to blame me for those too? If she thinks I'm snooty just because I didn't kiss her ass when we ran into each other at some party, then she's in for a surprise. I'm not backing down from her and just like we do on the big screen, we're going to kick DC's butt!” as the Marvel fans roar their approval.

Margot comes out rocking a white sports bra that reads 'Daddy's Lil Monster' in black cursive and sparkly blue hot pants based on her 'Suicide Squad' character, although instead of pigtails, her hair is in a fighting ponytail with white gloves with red trim; Emily is wearing a bright red sports bra with big white comic-sans font reading 'Make Mine Marvel' and a matching pair of shorts that read 'Exelsior' across the rear in matching font. Red gloves are on her fists and hair is placed in a battle bun.

Fight practically a homecoming for VanCamp as Revenge was filmed here, but plenty of support for Margot and Emily from fans of both stars, as well as fans of both 'Marvel' and 'DC', as fans cheer for both fighters with 'Captain America: Civil War' and 'Suicide Squad' poised to be some of the biggest releases of the year from the competing comic companies. Both fighters acknowledge the cheers as they head to the middle of the ring to touch gloves respectfully, beaming as they meet for the second time in their careers, but the first time since both have moved up to the world of movie stardom and looking to continue to establish themselves in the FCBA as well and the match is set for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

R1: Margot wading in from the start, aggressively gambling as she sends Emily VanCamp sprawling down to her posterior with a huge right hand as the DC contingent are on their feet roaring as VanCamp is blinking and stunned early on in the round. Em is on her feet at approximately 8, swaying in hurt as Robbie surges forward once more, eager to knock Agent 13 off of her feet once more, but Emily won't go down. Emily is badly hurt and clearly confused by this early turn of events, but digs in as she slams in hard body shots to side-boob, flank and torso, just a barrage of offense enough to keep Margot from consolidating her gains. Robbie determined, however, circling back and bending down to score with more wild overhand rights that manage to sneak through against Em's breasts, shoulders and temple. Em is swooning by the end of the round, dazed as Margot is all-in, having her foe stumbling back against the ropes as she keeps stuffing in shots up top and scooping at her abs to push her foe backwards against the ropes. Just like you'd have to restrain Harley Quinn, ref pulls off a seething Margot off from behind as Em slumps in the ropes, catching her breathe and reeling from the early knockdown here in the first.

R2: Emily just getting back to work, lowering her head and delivering an assortment of right and left shots, just seeking to punish Robbie's body, which all acknowledge is in the best shape of her life for this film. Robbie is enough of a veteran to step back away from the rush, circling right and sending out some jabs towards Em's head to keep her in pursuit, when a right hand manages to connect with a brutal right hand to VanCamp's temple as her head swivels to the side and Em is sent sprawling down to all fours with yet another knockdown for Robbie! Margot just staggering to the ropes, catching her breathe as Emily remains on all fours for a few seconds, before managing to stagger back to her feet one again. As the action resumes, Em is once again on the defensive as Robbie charges forward, bodying her foe up against the ropes and just bashing her to the body. Em does well fighting of of the ropes, countering with clouting right hands and lefts up the middle to belly and breasts. But, Robbie keeps pumping away with a series of brawny right hands up underneath, putting Emily butt into ropes and an extra right hand almost sends VanCamp to her knees – ref coming in hot as Margot is warned about any late hitting and she just gives a wink, hopping away confidently.

R3: Both fighters are pitching and catching wildly in the middle of the ring, with Margot just throwing hard shots and caution to the wind in a focused bid to end it all here and VanCamp just fighting back to avoid being steamrolled by a very determined appointment. It's a hot-tossing back and forth with powerful left and right hands hammering at one another as neither of them are backing down, but Emily manages to slam in a left hand to Margot's sternut and then a right hand to Robbie's cheek as she wobbles to her side, then crashing down to all fours. Robbie panting out, blinking in surprise as Emily stalks past her, hands on hips as she tries to catch her breathe as well. Once Robbie rises once more, the action picks up right where it left off as VanCamp is able to push her rival back to the ropes, just drilling into her torso with powerful rights and lefts. Robbie still fighting off the ropes, clinching to slow down her blonde rival and then doing her best to counter this aggression as the ref is forced to step in at the bell to pull the two of them apart as they are ordered to separate corners with neither of them able to keep from still hitting each other to body anywhere they can. It's been three rounds with three knockdowns as both girls are mouth breathing and looking shellshocked on their stools.

R4: Emily looking to get into a rhythm for the first time in this contest, moving swiftly across sand as she bobs and weaves, going to push in and fight off of Margot's chest to bully her back towards the ropes. Robbie with little choice but to answer from the pocket, just punching aggressively in a whirlwind of offense, but Emily keeps pushing and shouldering her foe backwards, bodying up to the blonde with big left hooks and hard right jabs to tummy and tits. It's shoving and slugging right now as Emily manages to ragdoll her foe backwards by wearing out her rack and ribcage, leaving her foe groaning against the ropes in a hard-hitting fourth.

R5: Robbie returns to success early, just chugging right up the middle full steam ahead to work on VanCamp's abs to bully her back towards the ropes. Emily manages to firm up at the apron, just surprising Margot with the sheer volume of rights and lefts, putting Robbie on the defensive. Em pivoting to the side, churning out punches to turn Margot on the spot, then shoving her backwards towards the ropes instead. It's a nifty bit of maneuvering which gives VanCamp the advantage. Robbie also firms up at the ropes, showing good defense and footwork, continuing to batter away at Emily's body but down the stretch, Emily manages to outwork Robbie in a close round – just working over Robbie's flanks, tummy and tits as both girls are mouthbreathing again and hustling hard here through five.

R6: Robbie just charging forward behind her jab, driving VanCamp backwards with a left uppercut and then follows up with a right hook deep to her rival's ribcage. It's a big gut-check for Emily as she doubles over, but doesn't bend the knee. Margot taking advantage of the moment, bouncing short clubbing right and left shots off of Emily's defenses, which are being hastily prepared as she backpedals a bit. Margot just delivering ringing blasts behind the elbows as Emily demonstrates some grit, suffering as she tries to get herself together and then responds with some short, spiteful punches that bounce off of Margot's face. The two of them trading blistering shots in a hot-tossing two-way down the stretch, but slowly but surely, Em seems to take control here in the sixth as she is digging into Robbie's taut bod and bouncing mitts off of Margot's pretty face. Margot butt-in-ropes as Emily just slams into offending flank with wild lefts and rights to the bell, as a late right hook across Margot's jugs after the bell brings the ref in hot as it's VanCamp's turn to receive a very stern warning.   Tempers flaring between both actresses as fans cheer for 'Marvel' or 'DC' as they recover between rounds.

R7: Robbie just digging in and not laying down, using her left shoulder to bump her foe backwards and keeping right hand up top to keep whipping away at Vancamp's belly and breasts. Margot trying to dig her way inside, but she's getting battered a bit as it's not any one punch, but more an accumulation of offense that forces Margot back to ropes. Both girls are breathing hard, panting hot into one another's faces but as Robbie seems to slow down, Emily is ramping up her offense, churning in against Robbie's abs and bumping her backwards towards the ropes. Robbie keeps fighting back hard off of the ropes, but wilting as she leans back against the ropes in earmuff and Emily starts punching her way in against Robbie's chest via palm-down right and lefts. Emily is delivering straight, ramming blows that pancake jugs, then switch down to her tight torso to really beat the air out of Robbie – and hopefully the fight as well. Margot is groaning and folding forward, struggling to catch her breathe as she crosses her arms against her body to try to cover up as she attempts to clinch and pivot free, but VanCamp is pouring through! Emily just beating her aggressively to torso as Margot keeps sinking down and down until she slumps off of the ropes and to the sand, sliding down perpendicular to the strands as she hugs her abs. Robbie is DOWN - Margot tucking one knee underneath her as she struggles to rise but unable to get back up as she falls down again hugging her tummy and groaning out in agony with Emily VanCamp winning in feisty fashion via KO7!

AFTER: Emily VanCamp taking a moment to celebrate her comeback victory against a very determined Margot Robbie, who is on the verge of superstardom on the big screen and here in the squared circle, but today, Emily was able to turn her back in a huge match-up between the two. Fans are on their feet, alternatively cheering, “WE – LOVE – DC!” and “MAKE MINE MARVEL!” with accompanying handclaps as the beach is shaking from the sound of these two competing comic factions showing their support.

Emily coming over to “help” Margot up as DC fans fear the worst, anticipating a Walk of Shame, but VanCamp surprising Robbie and the assembled crowd as she leads her to the center of the ring and holds her rival's hand up in the middle of the ring as both comic contingents cheer wildly in united applause. Margot's face blushing red, but smiling as both fighters lift up toned arms to the sky as, for at least a moment – one brief, shining moment – both Marvel and DC are able to get along. Sustained applause keeps both of them in the ring for even longer than they might anticipate, but finally, Emily guides her rival out of the ring with a wink and a swat on her rival's rear to have the ring all to herself as fans wait to see whether the solidarity will continue.

Emily waits until the cries of “E-V-C, E-V-C!” die down until she beams, addressing the crowd as she raises the microphone up to her lips with the right and pumps her fist into the air with her left hand, stating with excitement, “Who says Marvel and DC can't get along? You can talk about the rivalry all you want, but is it really a rivalry when we're winning so much?” as Emily sticks out her tongue, “Margot is one fighter I really respect, but honestly, so no reason to kick somebody when they're down. Although there are certainly a few girls who I certainly would if I get the chance. However, Suicide Squad can make all the noise at the Box Office it wants, but we all know that Marvel is better and I'm just one of the reasons it's going to stay that way! I can't wait to see more of Harley Quinn and the rest of the DC Extended Universe, because there's plenty of room in Hollywood for the two of us as far as I'm concerned. But, in the ring, there's only room for one of us and you know where I stand – over the rest of these jealous bytches and for MARVEL!” as the crowd erupts into a huge cheer as Emily runs over, mounting a turnbuckle as she thrusts both fists into the air. DC fans start a counter-chant, but Marvel fans manage to chant over them as Marvel declares victory today – but it's clear that the battle between the companies and the gorgeous ladies that bring these characters to life is far from over!
