Before: Setting is the famous main courtyard of thePalace of Versailles France, bleachers covered with blue cloth and goldfleur-de-lis. Looks like a scene for a Royal Boxing bout. According the reigning champion Malika Menard, that’s just what it is. She and Monika Pietrasinska are meeting the press and fans in the palace’s famous Hall of mirrors. They are sitting on thrones on a raised platform wearing one piecesuits (white with gold fleur-de-lis for Malika; horizontal red band under a horizontal band of white with a white eagle on a red shield over the heart for Monika. See the Royal Flag of Poland).“Ah, I like to imagine myself competing as a Royal Champion of the King fighting to defending my boxing crown against the Champion of –where did you come from Monika?”“Poland—as you well know—“ snaps Monika who seems to find this production a bit much. “It will be my pleasure to dethrone you and take the BBU lightweight belt to Warsaw.” “You have spirit, that’s why I selected you, but, alas, I have the power to go with the spirit and that leave you in weeping defeat. Though you need not weep. It is no dishonor to lose to ‘La Grande Malika’!” “You will not be so ‘grand’ when I drop your arrogant derriere to the canvas and leave you looking up at the sky as the referee counts you out!” retorts the proud polish glamour model and TV personality "It is not ‘arrogance’ if you actually do and so I shall,” Malika says serenely.“And I shall leave you with a big black eye and blood nose,” growls Monika.The two are soon posing for photos—at least until it turns into a shoving match during which Malika trips and falls off the stage. Monika looks surprised and then bursts into laughter. Malika picks herself up and gives Monika a haughty glare and then marches off.The afternoon of the fight sees beautiful blue sky and pleasant temperatures as the fans settle into the seats, Malika and Monika are in the same one piece suits as seen at their Hall of Mirrors press conference. Malika in a white suit with golden fleur-lis all over it, her hair pulled back secured by a white and gold ribbon. She wears golden boots with white laces. Monika is in suit half red and half white with a white eagle set in ared shield over the heart. She is wearing red boots and gloves with whitelaces. A red ribbon secures her pulled back hair. Malika looking cool and confident. Monika looking defiant and eager to fight. Instruction go easily.Fighters touch gloves and go to their corners.

R1: Monika shows no fear of the champion, she marches on the French boxer and pounds her hard to the body. Malika striking back hard to Monika’s rather sizable chestline forcing Monika back step by hard fought step. Malika mixes in some solid hooks to the belly but has to eat some Monika leather slapping into her cheeks. Fighters shift their footing and look to go back in, Malika moves quicker and gets some nice licks into Monika’s chin. Monika defiantly jabbing to keep the champion back, but Malika working those big breasts and tempting belly.
Monika pushed back,but she fights hard and narrows the point spread even as Malika Menard takes the first round.

R2: Monika not at all discouraged by the body punishment she suffered in round one, She comes charging right back in and gets to Malika’s breasts with some hammering blows that have the champion gasping for air. Monika then fires at overhand right that catches Malika right on the nose. Malika falls back with a little trickle of blood running from her nostril. She looks harried as Monika follows up with a hard-driving attack to Malika’s stomach.
Malika hunching up now getsher head hanged from side to side as Monika makes the champion’s head ring.
Malika finally pulls out of range and gets her jab going to try to keep the challenger at bay.
Monika showing some nice footwork trying to circle Malika,but the champion is keeping up with her as her defenses harden.
Still, Monika Pietrasinska wins the round wide and smiles as Malika wipes her bleeding noseand looks at the crimson wetness on her glove.
Well, that’s one goal accomplished, Monika’s note, but what about he promised black eye? Ah, but thefight is young!
R3: Malika not about to be surprised this round, She's off her stool fast and headed straight for the challenger. Furious explosion of leather

as the two clash near the center of the ring.
Elbows of both fighters working like pistons as they send punches hammering into each other’s straining, sweat soaked bodies.
Malika again feasting on Polish breast meat, but she’s getting her own rack smashed by the vengeful Monika.
Monika then slips a quick right uppercut into Malika’s chin and Malika falls back.
Monika follows up but runs into Malika’s jabbing which bruise up her face and the challenger backs off.
Pause for circling, then the two go at in in close again and Monika smacks Malika hard to the left cheekbone.
Malika’s head whips around and Monika tries to follow up, but Malika manages to slip away.
Malika then turns back and gets into another body battle to the bell.
It’s close, but the challenger, Monika Pietrasinska is awarded theround. Malika scowling darkly. Monika responds with a big grin.

R4: Malika out quickly again, but she feints a jugg attack to pull down Monika’s guard and then fires hard straights and lefts into Monika’s face. Monika’s nose now dripping crimson and she’s looking dazed as she tries to bring her defensive jab into play. Malika ducking and dodging the jab as she now hammers Monika to the belly with rising hooks. Monika starting to go up on her toes as the hooks’ impacts stretch her body upward. Then Malika gives the undersides of Monika’s breasts some hard driving hooks to make them bounce.
Monika now retreating quickly, but Malika cutting off the ring and slowly driving her back to the ropes.
Monika fighting back hard as she can feel the strands against her back.
Brave, stubborn resistance keeps Malika from doing as much damage as she would have liked but by the time the bell rings, Monika looks thoroughly worked over and she is unsteady as she makes her way back to her corner.
Malika Menard allows herself a smug smile of satisfaction.

R5: Malika glides out of her corner and makes right for a cautious, defensive Monika.
Not much available straight-on, so Malika starts circling, bobbing and weaving as she looks for openings.
Monika grimly staying with her, she’s jabbing well and not suffering much damage as she duels with the champion.
Then Malika makes a lunge forward, looking to bring an over hand right down into Monika’s face, but the challenger sees it coming, ducks to let the right go whistling by her hand and then bringing alightning right crashing into Malika’s left eye! Malika is struck flush on the eye and the shock sends a shudder through her body.
An instant later a Monika left catches Malika on the chin. MALIKA MENARD IS DOWN! Malika tumbles backward and lands hard on her butt before rolling to the right.
She pushes herself up with her right hand but she panting hard and shaking her head as though notbelieving what just happened! Then she realizes the referee is counting andmakes a great effort to rise.
She stands on her feet just ahead of the “…TEN!”and escapes the knockout, but she is definitely shaken and is all covered updefensively to concede the round to Monika.
Malika standing uncertainly afterthe bell, she feels for her right eye which is now surrounded by swollen,discolored flesh.
Monika now gets to look satisfied as she looks to have given the champion the promised black eye! But this fight is only halfway done and the challenger hasn’t won yet.

R6: Monikais eager to get her leather on Malika as the rounds gets underway.
She is quick across the ring and aiming for Malika’s head. The champion stays cool, moving her upper body to dodge the incoming and scoring against Monika’s body with strong counters, Monika begins to circle, trying to draw Malika out with feints, but the champ’s not buying, Monika starting to get frustrated and after being jabbed steadily to the chest, she lunges forward trying to force her punches through Malika’s guard.
Malika quickly firing into Monika’s face,knocking her head back and disrupting her plans. The Malika sees an opening, doesa little duck-down and pops up with a right uppercut that catches Monika underthe chin. Monika’s head snaps back and SUDDENLY MONIKA IS DOWN! Monika landing on her knees, falls forward onto her hands and crouches there slowly shakingher head.
Malika withdraws quickly to neutral corner and referee moves in.
Monika up at 8, but she’s not looking good. Referee seems to be considering a stoppage, but the prospect brings Monika to life as she begs to continue.
Referee waves Malika back in, but Monika goes full face-in-gloves to getthrough the round. No surprise that Malika Menard wins the round wide. Monika looking ashen-faced on her stool, but again she won’t hear of quitting.

R7: Malika merciless as she moves in on Monika who is battered quickly around the head and chest before she can even get her gloves up. Monika continues to be sluggish as Malika vigorously dances around her firing in shots to body and head without much counter.
Malika then surges forward, brushing aside Monika’s feeble jaband smashes a powerful right/left into the alternate sides of Monika head. DOWNGOES MONIKA.
Monika sitting on her book looking up in misery as Malika looks down on her with queenly contempt before turning away.
Monika staggers to her feet. Referee allows the fight to continue even though there is strong murmurs of protest from some ringsiders. Malika just rolls right in, banging Monika at will, backing her up to the ropes. Monika paws pathetically at Malika as the champion just rains leather down on her head and face. Monika’s sagging into the ropes, hands falling to her sides—this is awful! AND (FINALLY!) THE REFJUMPS IN! Monika collapsing into the official’s arms as Malika steps back and crosses her arms with a look of great satisfaction.
THE WINNER(AND STILL BBU LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION): MALIKA MENARD.

After:“So I had a new drops of blood come out of my nose and I have a little black and bluemark around my eye—they were nothing,” Malika tells the press. “Yes, she knocked me down, but that was nothing, too. I took the best she had and came back. I beat her so badly I saw no point to walking her. She belongs in bed after learning not to disrespect Malika Menard! I am the lightweight Champion of the BBU and everyone needs to get used to that."

After an extended session in her dressing room, a bruised and puffy Monika Pietrasinska tells reporters: “I gave it the best I had. I was not able to finish her off when I had the chance, but I know she can be beaten. If not by me, then by someone else, and I will tell you, that will be a happy day for me. I hate that woman!”“She is just a loser. Her hate means nothing,” Malika says later with a shrug. “It’s pure envy and the knowledge I am the better fighter. Now I need to look forward to my next defence.”Intense fight while it lasted with knockdowns on both sides, but Malika Menard got the one that counted—the last one.
Monika Pietrasinska showed good stuff, but she needs to learn when it’s time to throw in the towel. Luckily, she turns out suffered no ill effects from the beatdown this time, but next time she might not be so lucky.
