When these girls met in December 2014, Sarah gave Michelle a beating as she knocked her out in 6 rounds. Since then Michelle has improved, and maybe Sarah hasn’t moved on, but most pundits suggest that the Canadian will repeat her victory tonight.

Michelle enters the ring, confident and glamourous in a white bikini, gloves and boots, and she waits for Sarah, who is wearing a pink bikini with red gloves and boots.

Round 1

Michelle’s straight at Sarah, looking to catch the older girl by surprise, but Sarah’s ready for her, and knocks her backwards with solid jabs, Michelle backing off after her initial attack, and Sarah picks her off with long, raking right cross every time she has Michelle in range, until finally Michelle cracks home a pair of jabs, left, then right, following up with a left hook, and she’s got Sarah moving backwards again, showing good aggression, although Sarah’s still picking her off with her long reach, and she’s bothering the Brit with her right cross again, although Michelle’s still taking the fight to her, and she bops the Canadian’s head to either side as she takes over once again in the closing stages, Michelle not fazed by the former champion, and standing up to her as she sneaks the opening round.

Round 2

Michelle’s batting at Sarah again, and she gets past the blonde’s defensive gloves with a couple of good shots, even though Sarah still lands her right cross in Michelle’s mouth a couple of times. Michelle’s holding after Sarah gives her a hard shot to the midriff, and she lands a couple more short punches to the Brit’s body as they clinch. The referee parts the girls, and it’s Michelle coming forward again, sending sarah back with her left jab, although once more Sarah’s fighting back, treating fightfans to a nice display of counter punching as she works Michelle backwards now, her right hand punches still causing the brunette trouble, and she just isn’t able to keep up with Sarah in the final seconds of the round, which goes to the Canadian, who’s beginning to look the better girl here.

Round 3

Michelle’s looking red faced as she gets tagged with a right, then a left, and she seems slow to react after Sarah hits her again with her right, Michelle trying to punch her way off the ropes, but Sarah gets her again, and this time it’s enough to send Michelle down. The Brit gets up at 6, but that was a good punch she took there, and it’s clear that Sarah’s after her now, going for the knockout, and Michelle’s coming second as the girls trade again, Sarah hurting her, sending her backwards, Michelle cornered now, and this might be the end as Sarah tees off on her, rips into her body with plenty of leather, Michelle just about hanging on in there as she gets a battering from the older actress in a hard round for her to take.

Round 4

Still struggling after the knockdown, Michelle’s taking more punishment as the round begins, with Sarah smacking her right glove into the Brit’s reddened face, Michelle now covering, so the Canadian goes ‘downstairs’ for her body, and Michelle’s getting thumped here, backing away, not really offering enough resistance as Sarah just hammers punches into her body, and she’s bringing the Brit’s guard down slightly, rifles a right and a left into her face, and Michelle clinches, Sarah mutterering into her ear, “You’re nothing! You’re going down – again!” As soon as the referee has parted and reset the girls, Sarah bangs more punishment to Michelle’s body, and she’s still not fighting back, takes those shots, but blocks the headpunches, and Sarah’s getting mightily annoyed that she can’t finish off the wounded animal..

Round 5

Sarah clubs Michelle backwards, and she tries to line her up for big headshots, but Michelle blocks and clinches, and she lands a couple of neat shots on the break, which seems to have shocked Sarah, the blonde caught and needing to cover as she finds Michelle hooking her to the ribs. Now it’s Sarah holding as Michelle starts to get back into the fight, and she lifts the blonde girl’s head up with an uppercut when she’s in close enough, Sarah fighting back though, and a couple of right crosses follow from her, which set her back again, and she’s bleeding from her nose as Sarah comes at her, trying to get back on top, Michelle’s gloves landing in Sarah’s face more often though, and she cruises through the final seconds of the round, rocking Sarah’s head back, and she’s making the older girl look tired now.

Round 6

Michelle’s quickly into action, and she’s softening Sarah up with her own body punches, the blonde’s guard dropping, and this is giving Michelle the chance to bang punches into the older girl’s face, and Sarah’s weakening, her jab lacking venom as she tries to fight back, whilst Michelle hits her again with a left and a right, and there’s blood on Sarah’s face now, blood oozing from a cut to her left cheek, and Michelle could focus on that, but doesn’t, because she’s gone back to give Sarah some more work on her body, both girls sweating heavily, but Michelle’s getting rewards for her effort now, clearly hurting Sarah, who squeaks at each blow to her ribs, her guard almost ceasing to protect that face in the latter stages of the round as Michelle makes sure she’s got her girl on the run.

Round 7

Sarah’s trying to tough this out, and she trades punches with Michelle in the centre of the ring, making the Brit’s nose leak more blood, but she doesn’t seem bothered, still breathing properly, and she bangs Sarah in the face, left, right, left, right. Sarah staggers, but covers, then Michelle lights her up with an uppercut again, and Sarah Carter goes down. She gets back to her feet for 8, but she looks very shaky, and Michelle gives her some fearful blows, blood flying from her cut cheek, and from a new wound on the bridge of her nose, as Michelle’s heavy artillery starts to bust her up quite badly. With the bell seconds away, Sarah somehow manages to find it in her to respond, and bravely trades shots with Michelle, but at the bell she looks a mess, her face smeared with her own blood.

Round 8

Still Sarah refuses to be beaten, and she standing firm and giving almost as good as she gets, until Michelle swats her with a left and a right again, the punches crashing into either side of her jaw, and she’s wobbling as Michelle lands another left hook, which puts her back down, and she’s not getting up this time, moves a little, but it’s over!

Result : Michelle Keegan knocked out Sarah Carter in round 8.

That’s another tough fight won by Michelle Keegan, who’s making a speciality of getting off the floor to win. She tells reporters, “Sarah’s past her very best – but she’s still good, and I respect her! But tonight I did the old ‘Rope a Dope’ and she fell for it, punched herself out!”
