DANIELLE CAMPBELL VS TAYLOR SPREITLER
Results: Lookout    Writing: Archer

Danielle:  21 YO, 5’3 (1.60 m), 5-5-0 since 2014, Pretty Little Punchers
Taylor:  23 YO, 5’2 ¼ (1.58) 0-1-0 since 2016, Unmanaged

Before: With nearly a dozen fights to her credit in the past two years, Danielle Campbell is more than happy to take on the role of “sage veteran” ready to offer all manner of advice to Taylor Sprietler who is headed into her second FCBA fight. To say all the advice is not appreciated would be an under-statement.

“OK, so ‘DC’ has had a lot more official fights than me,” Taylor declares, the exasperation showing in her voice, “but I do know my way around the ring. Anyone can tell you there are plenty of ‘non-official’ fights going on and I’ve had a goodly number of them.”

“Oh? That why you got knocked out in 6 by Chloe Moretz? You really ought to listen to what I’ve been trying to tell you!” Danielle retorts sounding pretty exasperated herself.

Taylor gives Danielle a dirty look: “You just had to bring that up, didn’t you?”

“Well, it’s the only fight of yours I’ve seen, I just thought you might be able to use a few tips,” Danielle says innocently.

“You sent me a 30 minute tape telling me everything I did wrong and nothing I did right!” Taylor fires back.

“I thought what you got wrong was more important.” DC continues. “I might have known you wouldn’t listen. Guess I’ll just have to show you how much you have to learn, though those lessons are going to be very painful for you.”

Taylor stomps her foot in frustration: “You sure have picked up a lot of that PLL arrogance.  I don’t have to listen you!”

“No you don’t—but it would have been better if you had! And my friends from the PLL ae NOT arrogant. They’ve earned the respect of this fed and I am planning to earn the same way. That’s something you better learn or you’ll end up in ‘Jobbers Limbo’.”

“Well, that’s not going to happen,” the “JOEY & MELISSA” actress fired back, “especially after I knock you out!”

“Better get the ice packs ready,” Danielle said, “because when I get through with you—you’ll be needing plenty of them!”

Taylor looked like she was ready to come over and start a slapfight with Danielle, but apparently noticing the nearby presence of potential PLP reinforcements (Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and Leah Pipes), settled for muttering: “I’ll give you a wedgie you’ll be feeling for a week!” Then storming off. DC just smirked and went over to giggle with her PLP stablemates.

Some in the crowd were disappointed that no costume choices for the Halloween PPV were announced, but DC and Taylor subsequently explained they would indeed be in costume. Sure enough come the night of the fight Taylor Spreitzer appeared in black short shorts (with a white skull and crossbones across the bottom), a sheer white blouse tied under her breasts (black satin bra peaking out) with a red bandana and a wooden cutlass strapped to her waste. (Red gloves and boots with black laces).

“I’m Taylor the Pirate Princess here to take down ‘DC the She-Devil’!”  Taylor proclaimed to the delight of the crowd.

“As usual, you have that wrong, Taylor!” boomed the voice of Danielle Campbell, She was standing at the entrance wrapped in a hooded robe, Sh  went to the ring, careful to maintain the mystery to the last moment.

“I am the Cheetah—arch-foe of Wonder Woman—but I’ll gladly punch out a pirate princess just to keep in practice,” Danielle cried throwing off the robe to reveal a faux cheetah pattern bikini and a cheetah cat ears headpiece.

The crowd cheered even louder for her. Taylor did not seem to appreciate being upstaged and grumpily handed off her cutlass and bandana to an attendant. Her blonde hair was now in a simple ponytail. Danielle smirked as she handed off the “Cheetah ears” headpiece. Her gloves were black as were her boots. Her hair was also in a simple ponytail. The referee got them through the instructions and dispatched to their corners to await the bell.

R1: Brisk opening attack by Danielle backs up Taylor with quick alternating punching to the body and face. Taylor struggling to organize her defenses, but getting banged up early. However as Dani then presses in close, Taylor is able to catch her with some digging hooks to the belly and then smacking jabs to light up DC’s face. Danielle falls back. The two fighters circle and then Dani comes pounding in again. Taylor’s defenses better this time and she makes Dani pay for her aggression with shits to breasts and belly. Dani pressing hard with her own body punching until she makes Taylor retreat. Taylor attempts a counterattack but gets her chin banged by Danielle to bring the offensive to a halt. Dani swings over to the offense. Taylor jabbing back, but can’t seem to discourage the PLP fighter. Still, the blonde newcomer does make it close as the round goes to Danielle by a narrow margin.

R2:  Danielle comes back at Taylor, but the blonde catches her by surprise with a series of quick hooks to the midsection and a nice head-swiveling right to Dani’s jaw. Danielle lurching off to one side as Taylor struggles to get back in front of her. DC seems to recover quickly and engages Taylor in close. Taylor getting her feet set better this round and making Dani fell the hooks slamming into her ribs and stomach, Dani stubbornly attacking and she is landing a goodly number of body punches, Taylor hanging in tough though and the young women’s punchrates are soaring. Taylor stinging Danielle with some nasty boob punches and Danielle slows up her counters. Very nice looking toe to toe action right to the bell with Taylor pulling out the close round.

R3: Danielle goes right back at Taylor and again Taylor has strong defenses ready to absorb the attack. Danielle’s blocked or blunted. Then Taylor goes hard to the body as she counterattacks. Dani hunched over from the belly banging and Taylor then lifts uppercuts into DC’s hanging hooters. Danielle back pedaling, trying to get out of range, as Taylor eagerly pursues. The blonde is firing away, but in her excitement she’s more than a little wild with her punching. DC covering up, trying to ride out the storm and keep off the ropes.  Taylor keeping up the pressure to the bell and takes the round wide, but Danielle steady in walking back to her stool.

R4:  Taylor trying to be the aggressor this round. Danielle letting her try it, but then stuns the blonde with a hard right that catches Taylor squarely in the horsehead. Jagged red line appears on the forehead as Taylor staggers, her bell rung and head full of spinning stars. Danielle pounding Taylor hard to the tummy and then giving her breasts a vengeful thrashing. Taylor floundering does manage to get some jabbing in, but Danielle working her over with methodical punching. Taylor somehow on her feet, but looking around glassy-eyed after the bell. Long, trudging walk to her corner for the blonde as Danielle takes the round wide.

R5: Taylor corner works hard to get her ready for this next round, but she comes out all hunched up and defensive. Danielle circles around, firing a few exploratory punches and then moves in, smashing hard rights and lefts off Taylor’s. Taylor floundering as she tries to avoid the brunette’s attack. Then Dani gets in front and brings an uppercut into Taylor’s nose. Taylor’s head ripped back in a spray of crimson droplets. Danielle drives rights and lefts into Taylor’s face, busting it up and then ringing a finished right off the chin. Taylor crumples to her knees and topples forward, black shorts pointing skyward. DC grins and gives her a pat on the upraised derriere so that she slides forward, sleeping with her cheek against the canvas, Referee scolds DC for this breach of the rules, but the extra time makes little difference to Taylor. She only able to look up with bleary eyes as the count goes to “10”!
The Winner: Danielle Campbell KO5

After: “I told you so,” Dani tells a battered Taylor as she is helped to her feet, her face a bruised and bloody wreck, “but don’t worry those ice packs will help and you’ll be looking just fine a couple of weeks or so.”

“I hate you,” Taylor mutters, “I’ll get you for this.”

“Sure you will,” Dani says with a smirk as she pats the back of Taylor’s shorts.

Danielle speaks later to the press: “The kid’s got talent and it wasn’t bad for a second fight, but honestly, I was just too much for her at this point. I’m sure she can find some other flyweight newby she can beat. Meanwhile, I hope she’s learned a painful lesson or two from fighting me.”

“Yeah, maybe it wasn’t such a good idea fighting someone with 10 fights when I only had one coming in,” says Taylor in her post fight, “but I think I learned more fighting her than some greenhorn. She left me with a lot of bruises, but also with the knowledge I can hurt someone as good as her. That may not be much, but it’s a start and I want to build on this. First, though, I would like to lie down with some backs. Campbell was right about that, too.”

Not entirely one-sided second fight for Taylor Spreitler, but she was able to give the somewhat more experienced Danielle Campbell a hard time only in places. It may well have been a painful learning experience for her, but how much she has learned is uncertain at present. Good win for Danielle Campbell who needed to prove she’s a cut above the crowded Young Flyweight Pack and did. Fans did have some exciting moments of flyweight fury and no doubt will be looking forward to future bouts from the two young women
