WILLA HOLLAND VS ALICIA VIKANDER

Willa: 25 YO, 5’5 1/2 (1.65 m), 7-9-0 since 2012, Foxfire Boxing
Alicia: 28 YO. 5’5 (1.65 m), 3-3-0 since 2016, Fighting Academy

Before: Willa Holland not noted for being intimidated by opponents, but she is oddly shy and awkward at finding herself fighting an Academy Award winner in Alicia Vikander. Perhaps more importantly for Willa’s prospects in the coming fight—Alicia has a very respectable .500 (3 wins/3 losses) average in her first 6 fights.

“It’s—uh—going to be a real—uh—pleasure to fight someone as good as Alicia,” Willa stammers out. “I mean—uh—gosh—me vs an Academy Award winner from Sweden. This is-- really exciting-- for me!”

Alicia smiles: “If you don’t mind me saying so—you seem a bit star-struck. How odd. I’ve seen how mean you’ve been Kaya Scodelario.”

Willa suddenly stiffened with shock: “You know her?”

“Not very well, but, my dear Ms. Holland, your feud with poor Katya is well-known in British film circles. I may be from Sweden but I have a good many friends in Britain. They are all quite appalled by your behavior towards poor Kaya,” Alicia said with disapproval.

“Stop calling her ‘poor Kaya’—she’s getting what she deserves—here I thought you would have the sense to understand that!” Willa said growing hot.

“You are in the wrong, Willa Holland, you should go to Kaya and ask for her forgiveness,” Alicia advised.

“She’s the one who interfered with my friendship with Ashley Benson—she’s the one who should be apologizing to me!” Willa snarled.

“Really, Ms. Holland, I barely know you and I find you very hard to deal with,” Alicia said in a chiding tone.

“Just wait until you are dealing with me in the ring,” Willa growled. “You never should have mentioned Kata Scodelario.”

“I will mention whoever I wish. You are a very rude person. Knocking you out will be my pleasure!” Alicia fired back.

“I’m more than rude—I’m the bytch who’ll send you flying back to Norway!” Willa cried.

“Sweden—I am a Swede you ignorant girl,” the irritated Alicia cried.

“Whatever!” Willa snapped. “I’m leaving before I start an international incident!”

“Oh go ahead, you couldn’t look more ignorant!” Alicia challenged.

“Oh that is it!” Willa cried and rushed at Alicia. Alas for celebrity brawl fans, the growing tension had alerted FCBA Security and they were able to move swiftly to intercept Willa Holland. Willa was dragged from the stage having to settle for screaming insults at Alicia (who responds with some choice Swedish words mixed with English invective in an impressively bilingual fashion).

The PPV found a still clearly angry Willa Holland in a red leather halter top and matching short shorts (resembling her ARROW “Speedy” outfit). She had also worn a red hood and mask to the ring, but handed these off to attendant Adelaide Kane .  Alicia Vikander then reminded everyone was soon to be appearing as the screen’s latest Lara Croft as she came to the ring in  tight olive green top (with a bra underneath to bring her chest into proper Lara Croft view beneath the top) and olive green short shorts. Red gloves and boots for Willa. Black gloves and boots for Alicia.  Willa’s bobbed hair hanging loose. Alicia’s in a tight braid down her back. Much chesting up and pushing during pre-fight as the referee struggles to maintain control. Ultimately he does get Willa and Alicia instructed and sent to their corners. The fight began very quickly thereafter.

R1: Quick moving fighters close the distance and start banging leather. Willa going to the head, while Alicia strikes at Willa’s body, and they dance around each other maintaining this steady. Determined attack. Then Willa ducks down and tries to come popping up with punches behind Alicia’s high guard. Alicia shifts out of the way and fires some straight shots against Willa’s head, Willa swings toward the attack but gets banged hard in the face. Willa falling back looking foggy-eyed, but able to keep distance between herself and Alicia. However Alicia finally able to strike late hooking hard into Willa’s belly. Willa fights back with the jab and she sinks her gloves into the Swede’s breast line. Alicia shifts her attack but Willa ready as they battle back and forth to the bell. Judges give the round to Alicia Vikander by a narrow margin.

R2:  Willa goes after Alicia hard to the body, but has to take plenty of answering body punching from the Swedish fighter. Willa bobbing and weaving, trying to find a better way to get at Alicia. but Alicia not backing down, she keeps landing on Willa despite the evasion attempts. Willa continues her body attack, but then sees the chance to shift higher and goes after Alicia’s jaw with quick shots. Alicia smacked good and falls back. Willa in pursuit. Some nice footwork from both fighters as they struggle for position. Then Willa gets a nice overhand right into Alicia’s left eye. Cut opens in Alicia’s left eyebrow as she struggles to stay out of range. Willa can’t get close enough to do more damage and has to settle for winning a close round.

R3:  Alicia accepting close in slugging with Willa despite her freshly repaired eyebrow. Willa trying to get at that eye, which may have been a mistake as Alicia is anticipating the moves and making the brunette pay. Willa caught hard on the right cheekbone and gets her breasts banged up thoroughly by Alicia’s strong punching. Willa circling, trying to think of a solution, but then Alicia goes after her with some muscular hooks to the belly and hard rights to the hairline. Willa feeling the impact of those head shots, covers up and her counterpunching dwindles. Alicia bears down and keeps Willa suppressed as the round ends. Alicia takes this round wide.

R4: Alicia too sure of herself as she tries to come forward against Willa at the start of the round. Willa is ready with a strong jab that bangs up Alicia’s face and upper body. Then Willa gets in a quick smash to the jaw that spins Alicia’s head around and makes her rubbery legged. Willa swarming in, backs Alicia into the ropes and Alicia gets all hunched up as Willa just bangs away trying to break through Alicia’s gloves, but is unable to break through. Willa then goes after Alicia’s flanks, but Alicia able to use clinches to disrupt this tactic. Round ends in a wide win for Willa, but even she can see that Alicia is not broken.

R5: Alicia Vikander shows her toughness as she quickly shakes off the pounding she took in the previous round and goes on the attack against a clearly surprised Willa Holland. Willa seemed to be expecting to pick up her attack on Alicia, but the Swedish slugger strikes first and puts Willa up on her toes with a quick right uppercut early on. Willa staggered and can’t seem to get her response right as Alicia comes thundering in like a Viking raid on a coastal village. Willa banged from belly to breast and on to mouth, nose and forehead. Willa hugging Alicia to save herself with clinches. Alicia just relentless as she smashes Willa around the ring. Willa’s pretty tough too, despite all the heavy shelling she is taking, she does manage to keep on her. Willa’s face is a wreck as the round ends and she is swaying, looking at Alicia as though unable to believe what just happen. Alicia expressionless, turns away with a spin of the heel and marches to her corner. Willa trudges to her, head down and looking suddenly exhausted.

R6: Alicia Vikander shows her killer instinct by a vigorous follow-up attack on Willa Holland. Willa is slow off her stool and moving with evident pain. Alicia circles around Willa firing away at a distance to ensure herself that this isn’t an act by the Foxfire boxer. Willa’s answering jabs seem weak and poorly directed. Alicia  then ups tempo with her punching and she finds Willa’s chin with a quick series of clipping shots. Willa staggering back, trying to protect herself., but then Alicia puts a blockbuster right deep into Willa’s breadbasket. Willa folds forward and crashes to her knees, arms wrapped around midsection as Alicia stands over her like the Angel of Judgment. Willa lifts her tear-streaked, bloody and bruised face to look up at Alicia. Then she closes her eyes and topples onto her side. Alicia departs for the neutral corner as the referee moves in. Willa on her side, twitching and moaning, but not able to do much more than that. Very shortly it is OVER!

The Winner: Alicia Vikander KO6!

After: Alicia can’t wait to have her gloves removed so she can hurry across the ring and pluck demoralized Willa Holland off her stool. Alicia takes a firm grip around Willa’s waist and marches her around the ring in triumphant Walk of Shame, Suddenly, Alicia stops and Willa realizes Kaya Scodelario is at the edge of the ring, arms crossed, with a look of approval on her face.

“This is what you get for persecuting me!” Kaya hisses. “You brought this on yourself.”

Willa struggles to escape Alicia’s grip and go after Kaya, but her Swedish conqueror isn’t about to let her go until the circuit has been completed. Willa thrown into the arms of Foxfire trainer Virginia Madsen and then Alicia marches away.

“I trust she will learn her lesson after this—bullies do not prosper,” Alicia says primly to reporters later on. “As for myself, it was a very encouraging win. I am above .500 and I can’t wait to build on this success.”

Willa Holland doesn’t say much, but she makes her feelings clear: “I am not the bully here. I was the victim of Kaya and now she’s turned a complete stranger against me. If she thinks this will do her any good, Kaya is very wrong. Now let me go, I need to lay down, I can’t believe how many places I’m hurting in.”

The back story of this fight aside, it was a very good win for Alicia Vikander as she took down a more experienced Willa Holland and seems well fixed to use the win as stepping stone for better things. As for Willa, she had her moments, but it seems evident that she is letting extraneous factors distract her and tonight she paid for that. A feud’s usually good for the box office, but it can take a lot out of the fighters involved. So far it seems the Holland-Scodelario Feud is taking more out of Willa than it is Kaya.
