Luisana Lopilato vs Carrie Prejean

R1: Luisana bouncing on sand, feeling out terrain, comes out of corner fast. Carrie also eager to brawl, mashes gloves together and ignoring any guard whatsoever. Luisana is first stunned by massive right fist that slams into her forearms, Carrie throwing her weight behind each hand. Luisana recovers fast though, dodges out of way of another right hand, bounces backwards to avoid a third meaty fist. Argentinian bobs right after one such scary encounter, pops Carrie in the chin with right hand. Carrie getting pasted in the face repeatedly like this for rest of round, bullied by smaller girl. Round ends and though Carrie appeared dominant, Luisana clearly landed more effective punches to flesh.



R2: Carrie a stubborn girl though, knows she just needs one solid punch to land-- and POW! A right hand smacks into Luisana’s forehead! Blonde staggers back, eyes feeling blunt of impact. American charges in, makes her pay for insolence with sharp tucks to tummy left-right, then right uppercut to Luisana’s chin… BUT IT MISSES -blonde girl leaned to her right as Carrie’s fist whizzes past her ear. Luisana pounds on jugs left-right-left but enraged Carrie retaliates with another SMACK to face and PLOUGH into tummy, folding Luisana in half! Crowd just cheering at rapid and violent exchange. Luisana clearly showing she can stand and trade, but perhaps not as long or well as Carrie can. At sound of bell, it’s clear that American can brawl better, comes back with a wide round!



R3: Luisana takes deep breaths as she comes forward, unhappy at taking some damage from last round, but this time anticipating the American’s bull-charge. The Vixen, focused, easily side steps a big right hand - look of confusion on Carrie’s face as it’s bashed in by a wicked hook to cheek! Carrie tries to recalibrate to face Luisana, but eats another right hand to middle of face, grunts as stomach is beaten on. In frustration, Carrie swirls wild backhand as she spins back - back of glove not anticipated by Argentinian as the spinning back fist smashes into her cheek! Luisana’s turn to shout graaah, spittle flying to her side and body just spinning away from the blow. Both fighters take step back to evaluate, guards up high and just raking the sand beneath their feet in zen-like circles. Carrie cocky smirk on face, gestures with both her gloves: ‘Come on.’ Luisana not taking bait, takes deep and regular breaths, waiting for bigger blonde to come to her instead. Carrie tries wading in - her left high jab hits guard and powerful right again misses Luisana’s head, who again compacts her rival’s face with a counter-right hand! Bell rings and Luisana’s patience has rewarded her with a wide round.



R4: Carrie showing the crowd she can be a one-trick pony… But BOY does it love the blonde’s aggression and stamina! She continues to hammer Luisana with big right hands - Luisana just bottling up, shocked at how much damage the blonde can take and still have that much energy. A right cross powers straight into Luisana’s arms - she’s thrown backwards from sheer momentum of blow. Carrie wades in, buries right hand in her tummy ugghh. Argentinian in trouble, refuses to clinch, but bumps shoulder back, loops underhooks that spank back on Carrie’s abs. Both blondes just getting in close and personal, whacking at belly and jugs. But now looking like a bad idea that smaller blonde thinks she can take on Miss California USA! Luisana throwing fewer punches, groaning more and more as Carrie’s glove connects with her body more.frequently and painfully. Lopilato slowly beaten back to ropes, but thankfully bell rings. Both girls showing their true physical state - panting hard, face-to-face. Carrie exhaling hot air, panting hard but manages to hiss: “Still thinking of your match with Pia?” Luisana also breathing hard, gently nudges glove into blonde’s midsection, drawing a groan as she digs into flesh. She whispers back with a grin, “I take it back. You're far from soft and easy.” Girls return to corners cradling bodies, but judges give the round closely to Carrie for getting the better of exchange.



R5: Both women looking nervous. They stalk each other across the ring, kicking up sand in opponent's direction. Luisana surprisingly the aggressive one, jabbing high and just taking one step closer and closer, forcing Carrie backwards slowly. Carrie not liking this new treatment by smaller blonde, launches wild overhand swipe at Luisana’s head, but only hits air as Luisana dodges. Carrie’s shots losing their power, big right hook slams into Luisana’s high-guard, but Vixen had anticipated, deflects punch away with a hard push and ROCKS Carrie with a right hook into her cheek!! Shock on Carrie’s face as she staggers on legs - another fist crashes other side of Carrie’s face and blonde’s body does a pirouette, rotates into ropes. Carrie still has some sense to raise guard as HERE COMES LUISANA, chopping big lefts and rights into opponent's tummy. Big blonde moaning, having trouble covering up. Luisana draws back fist for a second, chooses precise target, shoots right hand under Carrie’s loose guard, snapping Miss America’s head back in a spray of sweat and spit - Carrie out like a light before her body kicks up a sand cloud. Referee performs needless count as blonde barely stirs!



Official result: Luisana Lopilato defeats Carrie Prejean by KO5!!



After: Luisana kneeling down beside Carrie on all-fours, look of concern in her eyes as she helps her to her feet and leads her out of the ring. No smothering tonight - fans already satisfied with some back-and-forths between both ladies and more importantly, that’s just not who Luisana is. Suddenly, Luisana spots someone familiar in the spectator stands: Pia Miller is standing, hands on hips, eyes glued to Luisana, while everyone else is cheering on clapping. The Argentinian simply glares back at her next opponent, who makes a pounding motion with both fists, then points a menacing finger at Luisana. The media crew finally realises something is afoot - tracks Luisana’s gaze to Pia’s icy stare, blows up their image on the large LCD screen just as both beauties start trading insults in fluent Spanish. Crowd erupts as Luisana starts making her way up the stairs, and Pia goading the blonde on with her fists… but officials suddenly rush in and block Luisana’s path, not wanting the brawl to take place prematurely. Both Latin beauties continuing to hurl barbs at each other to the end, as Luisana is herded through the locker room doors. (Please see post-fight interview for more detailed comments from Pia Miller).
