Emma Watson vs Cheryl Cole
(Sisters In Arms vs Lioness Club)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: With all due respect to Jenna Coleman, Michelle Keegan and even Emilia Clarke, this match-up could become the all new English battle royale going forward. Emma Watson always had the tools to become the most famous UK export to America since Catherine Zeta-Jones (and pre-date Clarke's Game of Thrones blockbuster) but the collapse of the Technetium franchise send her career into the great unknown before she was finally rescued by the Sisters In Arms earlier this year. Meanwhile Geordie's most talented singer - Cheryl "Let's call her Cole for the FCBA's sake" Cole actually filled in as THE most famous UK export - boxing-wise - since the days of Zeta-Jones and Kate Beckinsale. Tired of her accent and the notorious X Factor references? Who cares? Her only two losses since jumping ship from BBU came at the hands of former champions, Lucy Hale and Vanessa Hudgens, but several pundits smell an upset here tonight and a true awakening of Emma Watson as a flyweight division contender.

Emma Watson wears a red bikini top with black trim, white knickers and red gloves. Light brown hair with a dyed blonde patch tied in a small bun at the back of her head. Cheryl Cole wears a black & white vertical striped bikini set - the home colors of Newcastle United association football club - black knickers and blue gloves. Dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Cheryl's well known for her aggressive tactics and while Emma tries to respond in a similar fashion, she simply struggles to get going before the Geordie singer wraps her up in a steady jabbing assault instead. Cole explores the close range drill and neutralizes Watson's superior reach however the biggest damage is caused when the brunette rips cross hooks up the middle and finds repeated connection with Emma's face. Cheryl leans on her foe and lands more crisp shots to the body; she reels Watson back to the ropes come the final minute and signs off with a belting hook to the liver area which makes the younger Brit squeal in pain at the bell.

Round 2:
Emma avoids getting trapped in close range again and finds more success looping overhand shots from the back foot. Cole soaks up a couple of big shots yet she refuses to back off until Watson scythes her across the nose and adds another hook on the left temple. The Paris-born actress throws a swinging menace which forces the Geordie lass into a speedy footwork test however the lack of a close range opportunity plays into Emma's hands even further as she has the brunette dancing on her toes for most part of the round and unable to build on her advantage from the opener.

Round 3:
Cheryl's agility comes to the fore again and allows her to trap the actress in a close range hussle during the opening minute. Both girls give each other no quarter but Cole's ribcage punishment proves superior and slumps Watson on her heels before a classic belting hook to the liver wobbles the blonde forward into a crunching uppercut on the jaw. Ugh! Emma goes all shimmy shake but avoids going down totally against the odds! Even Chezza is surprised to see her foe still upright but she pounds her back to the ropes thereafter and gets vocal in pursuit of that potential knockdown. Give credit to Emma's new management as she survives the Geordie onslaught and throws a desperate leather lunge to prevent a further damage, she catches Cole on the mouth and leaves her fuming at the bell with the LCA head trainer Claudia Schiffer trying to calm her down.

Round 4:
Watson survived the previous round but she's affected by the experience regardless and applies a blatant clinching escape plan to halt the Geordie progress. Cheryl is Mrs. Short Fuse personified and gets angry at those tactics within the opening several seconds however the referee has trouble enforcing his presence and Watson just refuses to let go of her opponent's waist. She gets away with a lecture but more importantly manages to shift the battleground back to the mid range where Cole's precision suffers badly and the brunette stunner can only graze the Watson flesh before almost going down on her face after misfiring on one of her hooks completely. Emma sticks a left hook on the temple in quick response but runs out of time to make further damage - both women bump into each other at the bell and the crowd begins to wonder if we're set for a grudge upgrade from here on?

Round 5:
BIG SHOT WATSON!!! The younger of the two Brits CREAMS the brunette with a monster left hook on the mouth and Chezza's guilty of dropping her cover too low for once - Emma's right there to take full advantage of that mistake as she rallies with more punches to the body even though the singer restores the high guard before another hit can blow her away for keeps. However Emma is not to be denied anymore and picks off on the reeling brunette until she traps her on the ropes and just lays into her in true grudge fashion. Both girls scowl in their efforts but Cheryl's all wrapped up in the Watson leather frenzy and visibly slumps on jelly knees come the bell. Emma's outrageous body assault leaves clear marks on the otherwise taned ribcage and Cole's in some pain as she heads back to coach Schiffer hugging the left side of her tummy and not bothering to deliver another death stare at her opponent.

Round 6:
It's Cheryl's time to run the clock down in blatant clinching protocol. Emma shows more poise in dealing with the dubious tactics and still keeps punishing her foe's midriff before wrestling her back to the SIA corner where she just harpoons the bruised area and dumps the Geordie's finest in all kinds of bother again. Emma is no Vanessa Hudgens nor Lucy Hale but there was serious talk about her awakening tonight and well, Cole's FCBA crossover has rarely made her look this vulnerable - she receives an ugly pasting in the corner with Watson so keen to chop her in half it's just painful to watch now! Lioness coach Claudia Schiffer is terrified by the slumped shape of the singer at the bell and just hopes Chezza didn't suffer a cracked rib in all that struggle.

Round 7:
"You're f##### mine now, tramp!", Emma storms from her stool with downright evil look in her eyes and poor Cheryl is still hurting a lot; she finds no range to avoid the fellow British rush and gets picked off in the center of the ring with a head of steam. Emma did so well punishing the singer's body but now she tees off upstairs and sends the dark brown ponytail spinning back & forth amid a yelping Geordie demise... Uh-oh! This is worse than Newcastle's relegation last season! DOWN SHE GOES!!!  Cole just crumbles under the head hunting galore and hits the deck flat on her back as Emma's ready to climb the ropes already! Not-so-fast, hun! The pride and joy of Tyne & Wear somehow escapes the looming disaster and scampers back on her feet at eight and three quarters. Ugh! "You're dead Cole!", Watson is on the verge of the upset of the night - the awakening and all that - as she struts towards the wounded prey... ref holds her back at the last moment and just as he's ready to give the command Chezza riffles a left hook on the otherwise defenceless Emma before a right uppercut shoves her jaw into the orbit! Oh-no! Disaster for the sisters as WATSON FLIES OFF TO THE ROPES and collapses face down at the referee's feet! "It's all OK, all OK!", the guy in charge gave the hand gesture BEFORE issuing a verbal command and apparently the knockdown stands! Pandemonium in the arena as the crowd wants Cole to be disqualified on the spot! However we've seen an official DQ even less than fights going overtime and ending in a much-maligned draw so this one won't stick folks! Watson is all woozy when getting up at nine and one-quarter. The clock expires just as Cheryl's ready to pounce again but suddenly the Geordie vixen is the enemy of the state #1 here and poised to make a front page entry on the next edition of Tractorpull Magazine! Have you ever?

Round 8:
Emma's seeing double after that (il)legal double whammy in the seventh and suddenly the huntress becomes the prey with Cole rolling along and batting away into open field like Alan Shearer was leading the attack again (Boxing World and Tess Valmore need to google that name in their spare time). Watson's confidence is crushed just like her physical shape and Cole bursts through on the other side of the high guard to wreck havoc on Watson's face! Cracked rib or not - the Geordie Power is striding for the home plate and just past the minute mark all SIA dreams of the awakening turn into a flame thrower... EMMA GIVES UP THE GHOST and slides down on her knees with eyes closed mumbling to herself: "I can't, I can't..." The ref gives her a quick look but that's one numb English actress left horizontal on the boards and Cheryl Cole escapes with a VERY controversial KO8!!!

AFTER: Cheryl tries to kick out at the fallen blonde but when she turns her torso to the left she suddenly realizes that her ribs are very much worse to wear and cringes in pain while spitting out her gumshield. However the crowd is LIVID with the outcome of this fight and we might have an official video reply of that seventh round fiasco aside from the instant social media meltdown. Lest the Geordie fans care though! Cheryl Cole remains unbeaten against non-FCBA flyweight champions and the Commissioner's Office fails to accept SIA's protest issued five minutes after the former Girls Aloud singer is declared the winner in the ring. "We'll be back, cow! Tell that stupid whore she's going down next time!" pro wrestler Bayley acts as the stable's PR manager during the break between the PPV fights and we should see more of this English battle royale in the upcoming months. Claudia Schiffer escorts a visibly cheerful Cole back to the locker room in order to avoid more media backlash but the damage was done already - not as much to Emma Watson's pride - yet anyone familiar with the Geordie Style shouldn't be so shocked. This was solved the British way and well, they build them tough up in the North!

Final result: Cheryl Cole def. Emma Watson KO8.
