"The Battle Of Canada"
Jessica Lowndes (Vancouver) vs Sarah Carter (Toronto)
Lioness Club of America vs Foxfire Boxing
Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: It's rather obvioius the Lioness crew has zero respect to the Tractorpull's Hall Of Fame so wrenching Sarah Carter's quest to reach that elusive company becomes top priority for Jessica Lowndes tonight. The Vancouver bomber didn't even consider fighting Carter for what's it worth and labelled her as "too old" to warrant any meeting in the ring at the same time lauding Hayden Panettiere as the "real leader" of the Foxfire flyweight brigade. However spoiling that Hall Of Fame path is one thing Lowndes would love to brag about in the future as she keeps fuelling the Tess Valmore fire just to remain in the thick of the gossip pages with no real shot at the flyweight straps for the time being instead.

Other rumours indicate that Lowndes simply doesn't want to get tangled up in the Canadian derby mayhem, she made some inquest over fellow Vancouver brunette Kristen Kreuk a while back but apparently the lack of national in-house beef doesn't have anything to do with respect but rather with outright supremacy that finds Jessica riding the Alpha status not only on the Lioness roster but also the entire country north of the border.

Jessica Lowndes wears a turquoise bikini set and black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. Sarah Carter wears a white bikini set with golden trim and a Foxfire vixen logo on each cup plus a pair of golden gloves. Shoulder lenght blonde hair straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Lowndes is eight years Carter's junior and it shows early on as the Hall Of Fame hopeful struggles to match the brunette's footwork and cuts thin air while soaking up overhand response. Jessica secures plenty of single shots on target but she's not well known for her counterpunching drill and quickly loses her temper as she charges at the older woman and tees off upstairs which results in Carter yielding real estate to avoid the Vancouver rapid fire. Lowndes slices through the Foxfire guard with more single punches but gets stuffed to the body late on and tangles in a lenghty clinch with the veteran instead of properly shutting her down. Mocking her opponent's Hall Of Fame destiny fits Lowndes' character but nobody said Carter is a washed-up performer by any means. That's if you actually follow the mainstream FCBA media.

Rounds 2 & 3:
Carter knows she's got to neutralize Lowndes' footwork and she drags the younger actress into a lenghty clinching stalemate during the next two rounds simply hoping to blow her gasket somewhere down the line. Lowndes is notorious for losing her temper in the ring but aside from Michelle Williams, she's got minimal experience fighting these borderline cougars and several pundits believe that Sarah would have to outfox the brunette rather than outbox her tonight. Whatever the truth, Carter does exceptionally well to lean on the younger woman and block her off in a crowd-annoying clinch but the ref aids this cause as he repeatedly waves away the complains from LCA's head trainer Claudia Schiffer and allows Carter to score single strikes in close range that begin to take it's toll on the taned midriff. Lowndes aches and groans while trying to stretch her elbows but she succumbs to the veteran's tactics and sinks in the corner to close out each round as Carter harpoons her guts to run away with both on the cards.

Round 4:
Disaster strikes early in the fourth... that's a disaster if you're in the Canucks fanbase! Lowndes finally manges to resume the up-tempo dominance and prevents Carter from shutting her down in the phone booth but she misses the initial swing and wobbles forward to meet a crunching hook on the temple that is quickly followed by an equally wild one to the nose! And that shot sinks Jessica on jelly knees before Carter wraps her up in a jabbing frenzy that snaps the dark ponytail back & forth in a fashion Vanessa Hudgens would be proud of! Another wrenching hook finds the solar plexus and renders the Vancouver lass breathless so the blonde can blast her on the jaw one more time to instantly LAY LOWNDES DOWN ON HER BACK!!! Booyah! That should make Tess Valmore drunk in no time as the much-maligned CW starlet's swing at the Hall Of Fame legacy seems to be under serious threat now. Lowndes shakes off the daze at seven and shouts back at the stone-faced Carter but refuses to yield real estate and tangles with the veteran in another close range tilt, this time she stays on even keel with the blonde but eats a late hook on the mouth that makes her really upset at the bell as she spits out her gumshield and gives coach Schiffer a long stare before somewhat calming down.

Round 5:
Lowndes dismisses some pundits' fears that she might struggle following that knockdown and roars into redemption mode while keeping Carter under steady jabbing rush. The blonde veteran doesn't try to further dent the brunette's hopes though and settles into a lenghty seeing out proccess however she soaks up those Lowndes strikes just a little too often to comfort. Both women brawl in the center of the ring for most of the round and allthough Jessica doesn't really enforce much damage on her opponent, she lands twice as many punches whereas Sarah bounces off the high guard and needs to adjust her stance come the final minute. Lack of diversity doesn't make any difference as the head hunting pursuit keeps the crowd on their feet and Carter might yet regret holding back here instead of just lashing out at the younger actress.

Round 6:
Jessica finds her range early on and loops several vicious hooks into the blonde's face which wobble the Hall Of Fame hopeful and force her into a clinch-seeking survival down the stretch. Allegedly Sarah tries to tease the brunette off her comfort zone but the sheer production allows Lowndes to carry on with her aggressive drill and when the blonde's head snaps back repeatedly during the second minute, the crowd smells something new about this fight as the brunette romps into full frontal attack and reels the veteran back into the ropes all of the sudden. Carter jars her hand badly when she tries to switch downstairs and bounces off Jessica's hip before eating a left hook on the mouth and slumping on the turnbuckle late as the CW starlet pummels through on the body and clips the jugs for a good measure. Sarah clinches her in a familiar fashion but then gets wrenched on the liver area and loses her grip - this allows the brunette to sign off the round with a batting left/right combo on the temples and another low hook on the waist that was otherwise borderline acceptable.

Round 7:
Suddenly it's Carter who loses her temper as she clearly failed to make the most of that knockdown but engaging in a war of attrition with Lowndes is a BAD idea no matter if you're literally six wins away from cracking the Hall Of Fame numbers. She swings over the top several times as Jessica recognizes the blitz and weaves around in avoidance before blasting the older Canadian on the lips and adding another hook on the nose. Ugh! Sarah wobbles forward and tries to wrap herself around Jessica's shoulders but gets NAILED with a brutal cross to the mouth that sends her gumshield flying off all the way to Toronto! Carter's legs fold underneath her AND SHE COLLAPSES FACE-DOWN at the brunette's feet to put a shocking end to the Canadian derby! KO7 Jessica Lowndes!!!

AFTER: "They've got Auston Matthews but that's as good as it gets! Vancouver rules in Canada!" - Jessica proudly announces to the rampant crowd as Sarah remains on all fours long after that incredible cross send her down and out. One wouldn't have expected such a finish in the 110 lbs division but the Toronto native has only herself to blame for letting Lowndes off the hook ever since that fourth round knockdown seemed to open the Foxfire floodgates. While it remains to be seen if Carter manages to achieve the Hall Of Fame status, some rumours indicate that Lowndes is next set to clash gloves with arch-nemesis Vanessa Hudgens again.

Final result: Jessica Lowndes def. Sarah Carter KO7.
