(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Two big welterweights fight it out for bragging rights as Girls Fridays Josephine Skriver fights former stablemember Elena Santarelli.
Josephine looks to continue her unbeaten start to her career as she comes into this fight with two wins, both by knockout.
Elena meanwhile wants revenge against her former stable by disrupting the youngsters career, her own career record is 4 wins all by knockout and 6 losses.
This bout has so much riding on it for the Girls Friday stable, as a loss for Josephine may stop dead in it's tracks her planned December fight with Elizabeth Debicki and put egg on their face for sacking Elena for Josephine.

At the press conference, both girls met face to face and Elena made sure to show the high difference by putting her hand above her head and then moved it over Josephine's to try and mock her.
The Danish girl took it in good graces though, as she laughed and surprised Elena by hugging her and shouting "hey big sister!"
Elena shoves Josephine off her as there certainly is no lover between these two as Skriver laughs at the glare from her future opponent.
Each girl is ushered to their tables for this event and then Josephine is asked to speak first, standing and smiling at the journalists in the room as she loves the build up to her fights.
"While Debicki is the target, Elena is no pushover and while I know she isn't on good terms with my stable, I hope she knows that she is still respected back in our gym.
Elena turns away from Josephine as if not wanting to hear about her former stable and the friends she made there in her short time in the group.
"But come fight night, I will be after your head, if you want to blame me for your own downfall then go ahead but when I beat you, I better see respect in your eyes or I will know that Joan and the others lied because I'll know the fact that you're a bytch!" Says Josephine with real venom at the end.
Elena turns back to Skriver, her face is beetroot red as she stands up and tries to go for Jo if not for security and her coach holding her back.
She calms down enough to begin her own speech as Josephine puts on a faux smile.
Elena said "what a joke you and your stable are, they brought me in as an experienced fighter but dumped me when I started badly, I would have turned my results around if given time"
Staring hard at Josephine "but the real insult was after dumping me to the curb, they asked me to spar with this bytch so she could prepare her to face that stick Debicki"
She finishes by saying "if they want me as a sparring partner, why didn't they just keep me and have me beat up Elizabeth, I guess I'll have to show them how badly they made a mistake won't I?"
Normally they ask the ladies for one final stare down to take photos but seeing the look in both girls eyes, organisers decide that it makes sense just to get both girls off the stage before they get into it.

Fight night in Blackpool's Bloomfield road stadium, out comes Josephine first with Lauren Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro by her side as coach and cut woman.
She is wearing a brown sports bra and trunks with old fashion styled brown gloves that are clearly new but she looks hot with anything she wears.
Climbing into the ring to a cheer, Josephine bows to the crowd and looks excited to be here in Blackpool as she grins like a Cheshire cat.
But that changes as Elena comes out next with her old coach from Italy as the two stare hard into the ring and passions are running high.
She is wearing the same attire as Josephine but her gear is light blue including her gloves as she walks towards the ring.
Climbing into the ring, both girls stare down from across the ring as they warm up in their corners, before they come to the ring centre.
The referee finishes up his instructions as Josephine and Elena stare each other down in silence but their expressions say so much in themselves.
Asked to touch gloves, the fighters bang their gloves together, before jogging back to their corners, the referee signals to the timekeeper to begin 10 rounds of welterweight boxing action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters with tight guards up, Elena takes the lead early thanks to her longer reach, allowing her to jab away at Josephine and keep her at arms length.
Josephine does work her way forward to crack a right hook to the body of Elena, before the Italian shoves her back and slams a straight between Jo's gloves.
Elena continues to pop her jab forward before adding a right hook or straight to the mix that keeps the Dane back on her heels where Santarelli wants her.
But again Josephine finds a way under the jab to go to the body of Elena with two good body shots, before Elena clinches up to slow down the march of Skriver.
The referee pulls both fighters apart, allowing Elena to get that range back in her favour as she slams a double jab that burrows it's way through the guard of Josephine to her face.
Elena keeps the distance to her favour till the bell, where she has an arrogant grin at having established control over the younger woman.
Josephine keeps herself focused thanks to the efforts of Lauren and Eva, who seem to be keeping their cards close to their chest tactics wise.

Round 2:
Quickly Josephine tries to close the distance between the two fighters, her long legs are almost jogging across the canvas to get in tight towards Elena.
The Italian lashes out with her jab on the back foot, Josephine has to slow down as she eats some good jabs and hooks by Elena.
The look on Elena's face is one of a predator as Josephine is starting to think about her movements and it's letting the older girl work at her distance again.
Cracking a jab to the face of Josephine before sending a follow up to the body, Elena is in her comfort zone as she keeps working on the outside.
Till Josephine times a jab from Elena and cracks her to the body with a right hook, then drives forward quickly to keep slamming hooks to the body, causing Elena to groan.
Elena clinches up to stop the assault and again looks at the referee to pull the fighters apart as she doesn't seem interested in separating herself from Josephine.
The referee does pull the fighters apart and luckily for Elena, the round is just about done, so she backtracks to jab away at Josephine to waste time till the bell.
Elena doesn't look as cocky now after that round, while Josephine is waving for her to come and fight her as the referee stands between the fighters till the situation calms down enough and both girls return to their corners.

Round 3:
Josephine looks to have finally worked out Elena now as she uses her speed to work away now under the jab of the Italian.
Elena trying to pin down Josephine with her own punches, is only grazing the Dane as Josephine continues to work her body with some vicious punches.
The Italian manages to shove Josephine away and lands a few jabs, before Josephine faints with a jab then ducks down and comes up to land a tasty right hook to the cheek of Elena.
Down goes the big girl to her side, Elena looks stunned that she's down as Josephine jogs to a neutral corner to let the referee begin his count over the fallen fighter.
The referee gets to 8 as Elena beats the count and looks more furious then seriously hurt.
But Josephine is right on her to try and finish the job now, forcing Elena into retreat as the Danish fighter hunts her down.
Elena clinches up as she needs a respite from the punishment she is taking and waits till the referee gets between them once more to separate the girls.
Josephine gets slack in her attack as Elena throws defensive shots to knock Skriver out of her rhythm till the bell rings to signal her survival from this round.
Skriver looks upset that she couldn't finish the job off as Elena sighs with relief at getting out of the round after being down.

Round 4:
Elena tucks up and flicks out her jab in a defensive manner as Josephine bares down on her, Skriver still looks upset as she rushes a little too much, allowing Santarelli to pick her off with the jab.
Josephine slowing down again once she realises that charging in won't help her get the win.
Picking her moments as she dances around Elena, who continues to shove and try to create space to work but she finds Josephine ready to drive back forwards to press her back towards the ropes.
Elena again drags Josephine into a clinch but this time, Skriver wrestles her left hand free to throw hooks to the kidneys and body of Santarelli.
The referee pulls the fighters apart once again and he looks upset that he has to keep intervening between them.
Josephine finds her way forward behind the jab but Elena manages to fight keep her back with a flurry of punches as the Italian looks to be getting desperate.
The action slows down late in the round as each fighter tries to work out how to take firm control of the fight but the bell rings before either can do much damage at the end of the round.
Elena looks well worn though as her body has red marks on it and her face is puffy, while Josephine's face is puffy also and her right eye looks to be turning black and blue.
The girls return to their corners and shut their eyes to try and refocus as they get fixed up by their coaches.

Round 5:
Out come the fighters with evil intentions for each other, Elena swings from her long range to try to take the head off of Josephine, who just gets out of the way.
Josephine waves Elena on and the Italian comes forward to force the issue but gets caught with a right hook to the body of Santarelli.
Groaning, Elena tries to fire back but Josephine uses her left shoulder to bump her opponent off balance, then uncorks her right upwards to uppercut Elena to knock her to the ropes.
Elena slumps into the ropes and a right hook to her chin that puts her down to her side with her eyes shut in pain.
The referee begins to count but Elena pushes herself to her back and just stays down for the count as 10 comes quick enough.

Winner: Josephine Skriver KO Round 5

After:
Josephine pumps her fist to the crowd as Elena is helped up to a stool by her coach and looks shattered by this latest lost.
As Elena sits on the stool with her head down, surprisingly Lauren Berlingeri goes over to check on her as the only link in the ring to Elena's time at the GF stable.
Elena looks up and nods at Lauren but doesn't seem interested in talking to her former coach, Lauren seems to accept that as she silently pats Santarelli on her shoulder, before returning to celebrate with Josephine, who seems to understand that Lauren had to show Elena that their friendship is still alive.
Elena is helped from the ring as Josephine shouts into the crowd "bring Debicki on, that lanky stick bytch will be mine soon"
Josephine does a lap of honour to a round of applause from the crowd, then she leaves the ring, waving to the crowd like a queen.
In the back, Josephine tells an interviewer "I have to give Elena credit, she came to fight and she gave me a fight alright and that was better than any sparring session would"
Changing the subject to her future opponent, "look Elizabeth is big but that is it, I am going to dance around her and show her what class looks like when I finally get her finally"
Lauren gives Josephine a pat on the back and whispers to her to finish the interview, the Dane finishes up by saying "I can't wait for my early Christmas present this year, Elizabeth Debicki telling me how good I am in the ring and how much a better woman I am but I'll have to wait a little longer, like they say, good things come to those who wait"
Josephine winks before going off to the locker rooms to get cleaned up and go out to celebrate her win on the town.
