DANIELLE CAMPBELL VS EMILY OSMENT
Writing: Archer     Results: Lookout
Danielle: 21 YO, 5’3 (1.60m), 6-5-0 since 2014, Pretty Little Punchers
Emily: 24 YO, 5’2 ½ (1.59 m), 2-2-0 since 2014, Free Agent

Before: What should have been a relatively quiet pre-fight has been disrupted by the current Roster/Free Agency turmoil that is effecting a number of FCBA stables. Emily Osment’s Innsmouth Female Fighting Institute is no more leaving her a Free Agency. Danielle Campbell’s Pretty Little Punchers is said to have released Dani’s good friend Leah Pipes and there is already much speculation that Kate Winslet. The PLP owner is not through pruning her roster. So Dani and Emily are more than a little tense, but neither is willing to comment on their stable situation. So it is probably no surprise that given the degree of tension, its effects pop up in unexpected places.

In this case, the two of them start to get up from the table after a round of questions from the press. Emily tries to push a pitcher of water aside, but it falls over drenching the front of Danielle’s new blue dress.

“Oops! Sorry,” Emily blurts, but Danielle takes it the wrong way.

“That was my new dress! You did that on purpose!” Dani cries.

“Oh cut the drama, it was only water, it’ll dry,” Emily says flippantly.

Danielle seizes a second of water and hurls the contents at Emily’s white dress, though her aim is a bit high and most of the water hits Emily in the face. Emily lets out a shriek and grabs at Dani’s dress which is a light fabric with spaghetti straps and yanks. The spaghetti straps snap and Danielle’s dress is pulled down to her waist revealing a light blue bra. Now Danielle lets out a shriek and lunges at Emily. Emily tries to turn to flee, Danielle grabs the back of the dress and pulls back. The whole lower back of the dress rips off  revealing Emily frilly yellow panties.

Emily throws herself on Danielle and the two of them just tear into each other with wild abandon. By the time they come back up their dresses are mostly gone and they are battling it out in their respective undies. Primarily their hair is the center of attack and they are actually at a stalemate hands sunk in each other’s locks but unable to free their own.

The PLP’s Communications Director Autumn Reeser hurries out and talks the two young ladies into declaring the catfight a draw and releasing each other’s hair. Emily acutely aware of being alone nevertheless makes a calm exit saying to Danielle: “See you at the fight.”

“I’ll be there,” Danielle promises and makes her exit with Autumn Reeser.

As might be expected, there is a lot of fan interest after this widely broadcast episode, and both fighters are looking angry as they enter the ring. Danielle is in a faux leopard print bikini with black gloves and boots. A leopard print ribbon secures her dark hair in a ponytail. Emily Osment has opted for bright red bikini, red gloves and boots with her blonde hair in a simple ponytail (no ribbon). Two are glaring and pushing against each other during instructions. Referee earns his money keeping order and finally gets them to their corners. The bell rings.

R1: Swift start to the action as Dani and Em shoot across the ring and slam into each other with gloved fists churning. Early impacts drive Dani back with shots to the chest and ribs. Then Danielle fights back and Emily retreats after getting her chin slapped by Dani’s quick swinging rights and lefts. However Emily rallies and comes back striking at Dani’s belly with some good hooks, but Dani jabs back with some hard leather into Emily’s face. Pause as the two circle and then they go in again for close in fighting to the body, but Dani showing some good variety by tapping Emily’s face and head. Emily gets cautious waiting for the blockbuster that doesn’t come. Instead, Dani settles for edging out Em in a close round.

R2: Emily showing more attention to Danielle’s head this round. After taking a number of punches to the cheeks, jaw and off the sides of her head, Dani getting defensive. Dani uses jab to make Emily pay for her aggression with shots to the head and chest. Emily shows some nice patient work as she strikes at Dani’s head and then body to good effect. Dani shows some strong aggression of her own late in the round as she catches Emily by surprise with some hard hooks to the belly. Emily now using her jab and manages to slow Danielle’s attack until the bell, Close round, but the judges give it to Emily Osment.

R3: Danielle trying to punch her way back into this fight mounts a fierce attack early in the round. Emily getting banged to the body for the most part, but she uses her jab to bring Dani’s offensive to a slow halt, Dani has taken a number of blows to the face which a blotched with areas of red swelling, Danielle pausing to regroup but now Emily strikes back with some solid shots to the belly and then some rising uppercuts to catch the undersides of Dani’s bra cups. Dani looking distracted by the jugg attack, tries to back away, but Emily slides in and brings a hard, fast right uppercut into Dani’s chin. DANI GOES DOWN! Dani reels back, her legs shooting out from under her and comes down hard on her head and shoulders. She lies there stunned, eyes blinking and chest heaving. Emily scoots off to corner as referee comes in. Danielle is sitting there, holding her head when she realizes there is a count going on and she heaves herself erect. Fight resumes with Dani keeping her distance from Emily. Not all in the crowd appreciate this defensive tactic, but Dani still standing when bell rings. Emily a bit disappointed but she’s got a knockdown on her side of the cards as well as another round one. PLP corner crew working hard on Danielle. PLP trainer Nia Peeples cups Daniell’;s aching chin to keep her attention and find out how bad she’s hurt. Dani insists she is recovering and trainer looks reassured.

R4: Danielle does seem much better this round as she first uses a good jab and strong counterpunching to get Emily under control. Emily had been hoping to pick up where she left off, but Dani’s come back too fast. Emily now finds herself drawn into close in battle of the body punches. Emily digs down and gives Dani a dose of her own body banging medicine. Dani’s breasts getting heavily shelled especially since she refuses to pull back. Intense duel with judges giving it to Emily close.

R5: Danielle seems to have weathered the body punching storm Emily unleashed on her in the last round. The PLP flyweight catches Emily’s attention right away with some charging hooks to the belly, then Dani circles and bangs away. Tactical shift has Emily struggling to deal with it and she gets hit hard to body for most of the first two minutes. Then, as Emily is struggling to reset her defenses. Danielle darts in and clouts Emily hard between the eyes with a strong straight right. Emily stumbles back with a blank look of surprise and then Danielle strikes again with home run right cross to the jaw that spins Emily around and drops her to her knees. Emily then falls forward and sticks out her arms. She kneels there panting and shaking her head as the referee starts counting. With a great effort Emily makes herself rise and beat the count. Fight resumes but best Emily can do is to bury her face in her gloves and hunch over as Danielle bangs away. Fortunately for Emily the bell comes soon, but Dani has won the round wide with an answering knockdown and left a rubbery legged Emily slowly going to her corner.

R6: Emily’s corner crew works hard but she is drowsy looking coming off her stool. Danielle cautious in her approach, firing away with probing shots then moving back until she concludes Emily is not playing possum. Now Danielle attacks, trying to body pound Emily back into the ropes, but the blonde is trying to escape by sliding along the ropes. Dani then fires away at Emily’s uncovered chin and rips hard rights and lefts off it. Emily shuddering and her gloves drop to her sides as Dani starts flailing away trying to get her to go down but it’s not happening! THE REF JUMPS IN! Official cradles Emily in his arms as Danielle steps back blinking as though she can’t believe its over—but it most definitely is!
THE WINNER: DANIELLE CAMPBELL TKO6

After: Danielle congratulated by teammates Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and Janel Parrish. Dani keeps looking over at the other corner where Emily is being brought around. Once Danielle sees Emily has recovered, she sheds her gloves and hurries across the ring. Emily looks up with a stricken expression.
“Give me a minute, please. My head is still spinning. Oh, what am I going to do now?”

Danielle leans in and instead of pulling Emily to her feet for a walk of shame, she gives the blonde a hug,

“I know how you feel. I could be out there with you at any time, but if it happens I am going to find a way to go on. You will too, I know you can do it. I am hurting so much from your punching that I know you’ll win with or without management,” Danielle says.

“Thanks for saying that. Say, I’m sorry we had that catfight, something just snapped,” Emily admitted.

“Something snapped for me and I am sorry, too. It sure did get a lot of attention though,” Dani added with a smile.

“Flash the fans your undies and they will come back for more,” Emily managed, but then she winced, “I think maybe I better go take a shower and get some rest.”

“Sure,: Dani said and they had a final hug before going their separate ways. Now this was ending few in the crowd had expected and there was an outburst of applause for both fighters when they made their exits from the ring.

Very good young flyweight contest. Both fighters had their moments, but Danielle Campbell had more of them and took the win. She may very well have strengthened her position within the PLP’s crowded flyweight ranks with this victory. Meanwhile Emily Osment faces the uncertain future any FCBA Free Agent does, but she has proved she has the talent to be competitive and maybe that will get her through this trying time in her celebrity boxing career.
