TROIAN BELLISARIO VS DANIELLE PANABAKER
Writing: Archer     Results: Lookout
Troian:  31 YO, 5’7 (1.70 m), 17-15-0 since 2011, Pretty Little Punchers
Danielle: 29 YO, 5’7 (1.70 m), 2-2-0 since 2011, Free Agent

Before: “I admit I was surprised to the call from Troian’s people. I mean have been happily fighting on the Indie circuit. I hadn’t had a FCBA fight since I knocked out Sasha Pieterse in 2014. That must have been it, Someobody at PLP remembered my name. Well, I’m not going to turn down anybody especially a high-ranked bantam like Troi. Who was I fighting as an Indie? Well, I’ve recent fights with one Troian’s “ Pretty Little Liars”  reoccurring castmates like Torrey DeVitto, a couple of CW prospects Kathryn McNamara from “Shadowhunters” and Elizabeth Lail from “Dead of Summer”.  I won all three, some were harder than others, but I like to think it got back to the FCBA. Now I’m here again and I want to show I have what it takes it make it here, too.”

Troian says: “Since our esteemed Bantamweight Champion has decided to select an obscure opponent this PPV, I decided I could do the same and yes, Danielle, we did hear about your Indie record. You might have mentioned losing to Peyton List and that blonde actress on :Jane The Virgin”—what was her name—“

“Yael Globglas,” Danielle added uncomfortable, “that was a really close fight.”

“We heard it was garden fight,” Troian said wicked, “did you really get knocked into a fountain?”

“It was garden fight, Landing in the fountain had nothing to do with why I lost,” Danielle said sourly. “Look, I didn’t come here to talk about garden fighting. I came total about how I’m going to beat you. Though, now I’m beginning to wish there was a fountain around to knock you in.”

“Maybe next summer,” Troian said. “Right now we’ll just have to fight in a ring. I am expecting you to give me a decent fight before you lose.”

“Oh, you;ll get a more than decent fight, but I’m not losing to the likes of you!” Danielle snapped.

“See you there,” Troian said cheerfully as the presser broke up.

For the fight, Danielle opted for a black one piece with white trim, white gloves and boots with black laces and her hair in a French braid. Troian went with a white one piece with black trim, black gloves and boots with white laces. She had her hair in a ponytail with a white ribbon. Danielle frosty during the ring introductions. Troian with a cat-that-ate-the-canary smile, but the formalities went quickly and the fighters were promptly to their corners. The bell rang.

R1: Troian looking confident as she leaves her corner and heads for Danielle who is hunched up and looking aggressive. Troian takes a shot at Danielle’s head, Dani duck and counters with a hard whack to Troian’s chin. She follows the up with a wiping left across Troian’s mouth and finishes with a right that strikes her in the left eyebrow. Stung and startled, Troian backs out of there and Danielle’s right with her, this time smacking Troian’s body. Troian struggling to get her jab going as the belly punches keep knocking her forward. Danielle strikes that left eye again before Troian digs in and fights back with the jab. Now Danielle gets some hard driving leather in her face and some solid hooks to the stomach. Dani not backing off, battles back and whacks Troian heavily to the chest before getting a shot or two into her chin. Troian trying to shift position to get better shot angles, but can’t quite manage it before time runs out in the round. Danielle comes away with a narrow win and the satisfaction of seeing a discolored swelling around Troian’s left eye.

R2: Troian not liking have the underdog Danielle get the better of her comes out with a firm attack. She pounds Danielle hard to the body, shaking her up with repeated hooks to the ribs and belly, then she moves on to smack away at Dani’s noggin with some skull-rattling bouncing shots. Danielle covers up and tries to jab back, but Troian is continuing the pressure with the intent of getting her to the ropes. Danielle shows some quick moves herself in slipping away to avoid this, but Troian soon catches up with her.  Danielle more active as they battle back and forth across the center of the ring, but it’s not enough to keep Troian from coming back with a wide win this round.

R3: Now it is Danielle is showing the aggressive opening as she drives in on Troian with some hard punching to the PLP fighter’s midsection. Troian not backing off and gets her punches into Danielle’s body as they blaze away. After doing at it in stationary toe to toe action, the fighters slowly turn clockwise but the punching not slacking. However Troian mixing some head shots with her body punching, Danielle’s forehead becoming a discolored mess of overlapping swellings and she does seem to slow down her punch rate as she backs away. Still, action is strong to the bell, but Troian edges it out on the cards to win her second stanza of the night.

R4: Danielle shifting gears this round, she is moving more quickly and striking hard at Troian’s head. Troian struck again in that left eye and its angry swelling becoming noticeable. Troian seems to be trying to protect the eye which allows Danielle to go full-in on her body punching. Troian hunching up with these shots and she is having trouble jabbing back while protecting that left eye. Danielle remaining in control to the bell as she evens the round score with a wide win on points. Troian looked concerned as PLP crew works on the swollen area around her left eye. Danielle looking excited and her fans whisper she could pull this off with an upset TKO if she can punish that left until Troian is unable to continue. Don’t think the worried Puncher corner hasn’t thought of this too!

R5: Troian trying to fight at a distance this round, but Danielle is more interested in getting close enough to strike at the left eye. However Troian quickly realizes she can do a lot of damage of her own with her jab as Dani keeps trying to force her way in close. Danielle getting a lot of hits to the head as she tries this, but she is dogged in her efforts, though she is having to punch at Troian’s body rather than get at her face. Danielle does good work to the body, but she just can’t resist trying to get at that eye even though every time she tries, she gets her own face banged up by Troian;s jab. Late in the round, Dani’s finally able to get a swiping across the eye. Troian recoils like she’s gotten an electric shock and keeps back. This allows Danielle to edge Troian out on the cards. Both fighters slow getting back to their corners. They both took a lot of punches this round.

R6: Danielle comes hurrying out, clearly anxious for another go at Troian’s left orb (though PLP staff has done an impressive job of repair during the break), but Troian seems to have been expecting the rush. As Dani comes in, Troi lets her slide by at the last second, and then cracks a powerful right off Danielle’s jaw as she turns towards her. Danielle goes spinning away, though she somehow stays on her feet, but Troian is there to hound the dazed fighter with an all-out punching attack. Leather is slamming into Dani’s head and body. She finally has to go face in gloves, but Troian bullies her to the ropes and tries to keep her pinned her with a left forearm while pounding away with her right., Referee breaks this up, but it’s only a brief reprieve for Danielle as Troian swarms in and this time Danielle has taken a seat in the ropes. Troian driving her punches hard does make heartless hooks into Dani’s belly. Troian churning away to the bell as she sweeps the round in points. Danielle allowed off the room seems to have troubke locating her corner before trudging off in its direction, Troian pounding her gloves together as she walks back to her corner. “I’m rolling now,” she tells trainer Nia Peeples.

R7: Danielle off her stool with a dazed look on her face. Ringsiders quickly whisper her trainer should have stopped the fight, but Dani gets her dukes up and looks ready to fight as Troian comes for her. Troian works her prey with some distracting distance shots, then she comes in hard with pounding hooks to the breadbasket. Danielle groaning as her midsection comes under fresh attack and she doubles up forward. As Dani’s head swings into range, Troian works it like a speed bag for several shudder-inducing seconds. DANIELLE CRUMBLES! Danielle’s knees give out and she topples forward literally landing her face on Troian’s boot tops before Troian jerks them back and heads for the neutral corner. Danielle just lying there face-down in a heap of shuddering ruin. No way she is beating the count and she does not.

THE WINNER: TROIAN BELLISARIO KO7!

After: “Okay, I admit maybe I did take her a little too lightly at the start. She’s a mean fighter and I’ll have a black eye to remind me. But, I got over the shock and took her down. That’s the thing about high quality fighters—they can get knocked down, but they can still get up and win a fight. Of course, she didn’t actually knock me down, but she did hurt me and I think a lot of fighters would have never come back the way I did. So this fight proves I deserve to be #1 Contender and I hope that is remembered when the next Bantam Title challenger is selected.”

Danielle speaks to press a good deal later: “I did have a chance to win this fight, but it slipped through my fingers. I think I did prove I can fight the best of the FCBA Bantam and I am hoping this gets me more opportunities. I know it’s a risk. I didn’t win tonight, but I couldn’t quite pull it off. I think next time will be a different story.”

No sign of rust on Danielle Panabaker. Wherever she’s been fighting has kept her in good shape and able to give some worrisome rounds to a high ranked Troian Bellisario. That said, Troian still managed to overcome Danielle and win it with a crushing beatdown. She seems more than ready for her next fight and so are her many fans. Meanwhile, Danielle Panabaker has to sit by the phone and hope it brings an offer of another FCBA fight.
