(Girls Friday vs The Metermaids)

Intro:
The next fight on this card sees Victoria Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio take on Actress Holly Valance. Alessandra comes into this fight with a record of 7 wins, all by knockout and 2 losses now after losing to Jaimie Alexander one month ago. Holly has a record of 16 wins, 9 by knockout and has lost 13 in her career that's seen her fight around the world, her last bout was a loss in the BBU to Elisabetta Gregoraci. So both need a win or they'll be slipping further down the rankings with a loss here.

At the press conference both girls meet and surprisingly hug each other before they go to their tables, pundits are already making educated guesses and Alessandra basically confirms them with her
speech.

"Both you guys ask, Holly and I know each other through her baby sister Olympia, who'll probably be in a huff with me for calling her a baby" says Alessandra with a wink as the crowd of journalists with
Holly chuckle.

"Holly's been to our gym and I have to say she is a friend, but this is a sport we both take seriously, so for those of you thinking we'll play a game of grab ass, you are sorely mistaken" she says with a
serious tone.

Before finishing with "I will be going for the win and if that means I have to upset Olympia by cutting your pretty face up with my fists before I knock you out, then sorry but that is going to happen"

Holly nods as she stares sternly back, then starts her own speech "like Alessandra says, Olympia has got me to get to knock her new stablemates and I am so happy for her to be with these girls, even if I'd have preferred her in my stable, which the offers still open"

Again there's laughter before Holly says "honestly Alessandra, I think you're good in that ring but I am class, I can bang with you if I need to, I can dance around you, I am the total package and your still
someway off that."

Unlike Holly, Alessandra just laughs it off as Valance finishes "I know my sister will be upset to see you beat up Alessandra but as you said that is what will happen!"

The girls are brought to the centre of the room and stand nose to nose, some of the friendliness is gone as they raise their fists for the photos and judging by their bodies, they are hoping the other
makes a move to start something. Instead they step back from each other and share a brief handshake,
then walk off stage in opposite directions. Fight night, out comes Alessandra first, she has Lauren Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro by her side and she does a quick shake of her body in a belly dancer motion at the top of the ramp to the delight of the crowd.

As she is walking down to the ring, she has a yellow sports bra and trunks on, there's a small Brazilian flag on the left leg on the front and white angels wings adorn the booty of her trunks.

To finish her look, she has green gloves and shoes, while her hair is braided as she finally climbs into the ring and does a quick samba dance in the centre of the ring, then heads to her corner. Out comes Holly with Tara Moss and Annalise Braakensiek are by her side as she raises her gloves to the crowd who cheer the Aussie stunner.

As she comes down to the ring, Holly is wearing a black and white stripped sports bra, black trunks with the Metermaid logo on her booty and black shoes and gloves to complete her look. She enters the ring and waves to the crowd, before heading to the ring centre with Alessandra coming from the opposite side to meet her. The referee reads the final instructions out as the two fighters hide any friendship behind a wall of cold hard glares.

Asked to touch gloves, they respectfully touch and wish each other good luck, then head back to their corners, so the referee can signal for the bell to begin 10 rounds of lightweight boxing action.

Round 1:
"Ding" out come the fighters, both start simple, circling and jabbing at defences to test each other out, a lot of respect between these two it seems. Holly scores the first power shot with a faint left hand and scores with a right to the body, then she ducks a returning straight to land a good left to the body. But Alessandra does quickly make up for that with a perfectly timed straight through the guard of Holly to spike her nose. Holly again though shows her boxing fundamentals, moving her head to dodge some shots and slipping in some good counter shots over the top to make Alessandra think. Alessandra catches her with a good one/two punch combo to her face to snap Holly's head back and it's clear which one has the power and which ones the technical fighter. In come both fighters and while they both have success hitting each other with a range of punches, it's Holly whose having the better of the action, slipping out of punches to land some hard shots in return. Alessandra seems to shake them off as she walks forward and knocks Holly towards the ropes with a quick combo double jab followed by a
right hook. But Holly manages to clinch up with Alessandra and sneak in some shots to the Brazilian's kidneys, before the referee orders the girls to break and Valance let's go of her opponent in a good sign of sportsmanship, then moves away from the ropes. Late in the round, again it's Holly that is landing the cleaner punches as she shows her flexibility to lean and dodge Alessandra's punches to land her own punches. The bell rings and both girls touch gloves to show respect, then head back to their corners to get cleaned up by their coaches. Holly seems the happier and has every right to be as pundits at ringside seem to put her ahead but Alessandra doesn't look worried in her corner.

Round 2:
Round starts off with Alessandra trying to quicken the pace to her own advantage, Holly though is still in some form of control, timing her movement to just get out of the way of punches, then throw her own shot back through the gaps left. Visibly it's clear that Alessandra is getting annoyed, she is trying
to press forward but is getting caught in return. Holly looking confident as she feels she has Alessandra in the palm of her hand, especially as she lands a good jab to the top, followed by a straight and a good right hook to the body to press Ambrosio backwards. Bouncing on her toes forward, Holly bobs her head side to side and lands another hard straight to the lips of her opponent to force her back another step. But as Holly tries to lunge forward with a right hand, Alessandra moves her head out the way in time, then steps forward behind the outstretched arm of the Aussie to slam her own right to the cheek of
Holly. Alessandra forces Holly to fight in tight, both girls trading to the others body as the crowd cheer both girls on. Holly tries to move back to get space but Alessandra connects with a left cross to make Holly stumble back, now it's Ambrosio forcing the fight in her favour and Holly has to grab on to stop being knocked through the ropes it appears. The referee pulls them apart and Holly starts attacking harder to try and keep control of the fight as she throws a flurry of punches at Alessandra. But she misses and Alessandra lands a hard shot to the body of Holly to hurt her, Holly is rocked towards the ropes and as time ticks away in the round, Alessandra pins Holly to the ropes. The bell rings and Alessandra jogs away to her corner with a wide smile on her face, as Holly stares hard at her opponent, the competitive fires starting to burn hot. Holly's coach for tonight Annalise tries to tell her that she is still in control of this fight but she's not that confident after the end to that round. While Alessandra gets cleaned up but neither looks too damaged at the moment, Lauren tells her to keep the pressure up on Holly.

Round 3:
Holly tries to keep the tempo at her own pace but she's caught early by a right hand over the top, Alessandra drives forward from behind that first strike to press her advantage from the off. It leads to a vicious exchange of punches and Holly just hasn't the power it seems to keep Alessandra back. Instead she's eating power shots through her guard and is being knocked around the ring with her head repeatedly being snapped back under the pressure. Holly does manage to land a good spear like shot to the lips of Alessandra but gets clobbered by a right hook not long later that makes her groan out in pain. Alessandra hunts down Holly, not rushing forwards in case she gets caught, her longer reach instead is being used to great effect to pierce through to any spots that Holly isn't protecting. The Aussie has to clinch so she can try to formulate a plan, Alessandra has her arm free enough to dig to the body then kidneys till the referee gets involved. As the action resumes, this is turning into an asswhooping for Holly and Alessandra is showing no mercy with her strikes just slamming away at her opponent. Late in the round and Holly eats a hard counter straight to her nose that causes tears to form in her eyes and Alessandra knocks her to the ropes under a barrage of hard strikes. Holly covers up as best she can and the bell saves her it seems as like the end of the last round, Alessandra leaves Holly to peel herself from the ropes to return to her own corner, hyped up by her dominance in that round. Holly looks upset as she returns to her own corner but after a moment of complaining to Annalise, she seems to steel herself for the next round.

Round 4
Holly is on the defensive but that doesn't stop her getting caught to her ribs early as Alessandra throws a stiff right hook. The Aussie tries to fight back quickly to not get hurt again but leaves herself open to an overhand right to her temple and down goes Holly! Alessandra quickly heads off to a neutral corner as the referee counts Holly as she lays on her back, staring up at the ceiling. Shaking her head, Holly shoves herself up to beat the count at 8 and tells the referee that she is OK and that it was just a flash
knockdown. The referee still checks her over but agrees that in his opinion that she can continue to a cheer from the loud crowd. Back at it go the fighters and after a rush from Alessandra just leads to wasted energy from missed haymakers. Alessandra settles into a rhythm of jabbing through the guard of Holly's and making her sloppy return shots miss by moving side to side. Holly is clearly still hurt as her earlier pinpoint shots are a stark difference from what she is throwing back now and if not for clinching up, she'd probably be down again at this very moment. Sadly for Holly Valance fans, she goes down soon enough with just under a minute of the round to go, again she gets caught coming in, this time with a right uppercut to her jaw. Down goes Holly in a heap to her face, the crowd all stand and roar at the knockout as the referee checks her and waves the fight off as she's out like a light.

Winner: Alessandra Ambrosio KO Round 4

After:
Alessandra pumps her fists to the crowd as her adrenaline has her heart pumping and she can't believe that she knocked out Holly with such ease.

As she calms down, she sees Holly being woken up and checked on by doctors that she is going to be OK, Alessandra herself rushes over as does all the coaches and the doctor has to tell them to not crowd are the beaten fighter.

All the girls stand on the opposite side of the ring and while the Metermaid girls look upset of course, they do tell Alessandra begrudgingly that she did a stellar job.

The doctor finally finishes his checks and let's the girls talk to Holly after she's helped onto a stool, both combatants share a hand shake and a smile as Holly says "you got me good babe but if there's a
next time"

Alessandra smiles and replies "well if there is a next time, I know you'll come hard for me babe" both girls laugh and Olympia Valance sneaks into the ring and quickly checks on her big sis. Alessandra looks guilty as she sees the sisters hug and tears.

But Olympia tells her "don't look like that babe, I knew that one of you could get hurt and I had to accept it, I expect you to still be coming for a drink with me and my big sis"

Alessandra nods as she pats Olympia on her back for being such a good friend to her, before she leaves the two siblings alone and leaves the ring to a round of applause. While Olympia helps Annalise  get Holly out of the ring in one piece as Tara waves the crowd to cheer their girl.

That night, stables didn't matter as the friends and family all shared a night together, chatting, drinking and just enjoying themselves after a hard fought fight.
