LUCY LIU VS CARMEN ELECTRA II

Before: Superfight rematch pitting two of the most efficient fighters statistically in the FCBA against one another. Electra aching to get Liu back in the ring following a disastrous eleventh hour knockout loss in a fight Carmen had almost sewn up. Liu very cocky and hurtful in pre-fight comments - constantly rehashing the KO and trying every trick to get under Electra's skin. Carmen in purple aerobics two piece, high neck, Liu in black sports bra, red aerobics bottoms, slick ponytail.

During R1: Liu out dancing, Electra stalking - Lucy using the come along hook as she skips to her right - Carmen sinewy upper body movement as she cuts off the ring. Midway through, Electra feints, jumps in with her left hand low, whipping the left uppercut from her knees and catching Lucy on the point of the chin to send the Asian staggering across the ring. Liu recovering well, dances and keeps her distance the rest of the way - Round to Electra.

R2: Electra out very fast, leaping in with a straight right hand as Liu slips under, Electra slipping in turn to dodge a wild Liu right and coming out of her crouch with a sweeping left hand from the floor that pounds hard to the pit of Liu's belly. Lucy gurgling, stumbles to all fours as Carmen prances away all smiles - Liu in big trouble as she struggles up for 8. Carmen immediately swarming - Liu on trembling legs trying to slip and roll, but getting clipped as she staggers to the ropes. Electra squaring up - crowd goes wild as she rips Zab Judah type lefts and rights from in tight as Liu covers up. Down the stretch, Liu slipping under Carmen's left, spins off the ropes, pivoting around Electra and NAILING her a hard overhand right as Carmen turns into the punch. Carmen's legs numb, hands drop to her stomach as she topples sideways to the ropes and barely remains standing. Bell sounds before Liu can finish - Electra glassy eyed - punch knocks anyone under 110 pounds out cold, but Carmen makes it to her corner for some feverish work.

R3: Carmen still rattled, but so is Liu - Lucy not used to seeing anyone take her best punch, doesn't press the issue. Girls relying on supple upperbody movement and pantherish reflexes, trying to land a big shot, but neither wanting to commit to the follow up punching required. Late in the round, Carmen dips in, comes up with her withering left uppercut to the gut and LIU IS HURT! Lucy covering up - Carmen coming to life, splashes pounding lefts and rights to the hips, then tries to work up the middle with the clipping right uppercut to drape Liu on the ropes. Bell sounds, Liu drops her gloves and Carmen plows home a blatant right hand to the lips as the ref jumps in.

R4: Leaping, gambling potshots flow forth as the girls lunge and fade back, twisting away with rubbery spined defense, leaping in on coiled-spring legs - but rarely making flush contact. Final minute, Liu moving right, clipping little hooks under Carmen's chin, changes direction and claps a slinging right hand across Electra's face. CARMEN IS HURT! Electra with her feet parallel, hands wide, eyes blinking is helpless as Liu pours it on. Lefts and rights from the hips -Liu walking in, jerking blinding combinations to the jugs and face of her foe - Electra getting battered stumbling back on her heels - feet still too wide to support her - and CARMEN GOES DOWN! Electra on her back, lips quivering as she lifts her head, rolls to her side. Liu looking on as Carmen tries to get to her feet, only to stumble forward and collapse at the ropes and THE REF COUNTS 10! Electra is KO'D! KO4 Lucy Liu.

After: Stunning conclusion sees a shell-shocked Electra on her knees, looking blearily out between the ropes to the crowd as Liu struts with hands held high in the ring. It's not over for Carmen - gloves are removed - Electra seated on her stool as the physician shines a penlight in her eyes - Liu barging in, takes a handful of Electra's waistband, hoists the brunette to her feet and gives her a walk of shame as the crowd roars. Electra sobbing piteously, held close about the waist as a beaming albeit swollen-eyed Liu waves and nods to the mob. Liu circles the ring then pushes Carmen back onto her stool to continue her victory strut alone. Electra battered and humiliated beyond words is escorted hastily from the scene.
