Megan Fox versus Briana Evigan
(Words: ABC / Results: Lookout!)

 Pre-fight:
Halfway through last year it looked as though Briana Evigan was going to take the FCBA by storm. She had gone 7-1 since signing with ABC and was fresh off beating Nina Dobrev and Hayden Panettiere, both of whom still sit higher on the rankings than Evigan. It seemed to be a dream come true for the ABC hopeful. Then reality struck. Evigan lost to Hudgens, then to Terrell. She is desperate to get back on the wagon here tonight against Megan Fox, who went 3-3 last year, losing to good fighters and beating mediocre ones. Megan is also looking to make a surge in this new year, and a win over the promising Evigan would surely put her back in the title hunt.

“Megan has been good for a long time,” Evigan admitted, “but she hasn’t been great, and from what I’ve seen in the last year or two, I’m confident I can outbox her. I’m fitter, and I know things have been kind of rough lately, but I have the talent and I’m not going to let a couple of speedbumps slow me down on my road to the title. I’m especially not going to let Foxy slow me down. She’s old news. It’s time for some new blood up at the top of the division.”

Megan Fox, not so respectfully, disagreed. “Fitter than me? The girl is having a laugh. I’m fitter, more talented, more experienced, and a hell of a lot tougher. The only thing that’s old news is her potential. She looked good for a little while there, but she’ll just be another flash in the pan. I’m going to extinguish that flame tonight. It is MY turn to have a shot at the top of the division, and I am going to get that title. No-one will even remember Bri by the time I get that gold around my waist.”

Round 1:
As we kick things off, Fox looks sharper early, her jab keenly finding small openings in Evigan’s defence even as Briana moves about nimbly. Evigan doing most of the work in the first, ducking and weaving and shuffling about, in and out with the jabs, but it is Fox who has the guard working more effectively and the precision jab taking more clean shots to Briana’s head than the other way around.

After a tight first, Megan takes a seat looking sure and confident, while Briana looks a little on edge, maybe not expecting such a calculated approach from Fox in the first, and effectively wasting a lot of energy.

Round 2:
Megan happy to follow her strategy from round one, refusing to waste energy on big movement, holding guard tightly on telegraphed Briana offence, but Bri decides to mix things up a bit more, and finds Fox’s flat tummy on more than one occasion. Megan groaning and soon huffing as she’s winded by hard midriff shots from her athletic opponent. Fox’s movement slowed from energy-efficient to naught as Bri stuffs in the leather, reddening tummy and bending the beauty over forward, opening up temples for easy pickings.

Evigan slams hooks left then right against Fox’s temples, and Megan staggers and stumbles, but refuses to drop, turtling as she tries to get away. Fox manages to survive ‘til the bell, and she looks worn as she takes a seat before the third. Evigan looking the more confident now as the two talented boxers trade momentum.

Round 3:
Fox’s movements steady and calculated as we begin the third round, careful not to get herself into another second-round situation. More movement now from Fox as she didn’t like the result of standing still from the previous round, and she’s coming in and out with the jabs now, mixing things up against Evigan.

Briana growing frustrated as her hooks toward tummy are evaded by Megan’s swift footwork, and she gets a little too anxious, storming in close, just to have Megan suddenly pop forward, bobbleheading Bri with a left jab, then rocking the right through sturdy chin.

Briana is staggering backwards and Megan pursues, trying to take more jawline, but Evigan is able to keep the feet working to her advantage and tightens the guard just in time to stuff out the follow-ups that do catch her.

Round 4:
Both beauties looking a little cautious to begin the fourth. Briana’s guard favoring slightly high, while Megan’s is held lower, looking keener to stuff out body shots and protect that bright red tummy. There seems to be an awareness of each other’s power and athleticism now, and neither is willing to give an inch.

Megan braves the jab first, and Briana makes her immediately regret it as she blocks firmly up high and then rams leather right back into Megan’s face, staggering her backwards. Megan’s arms flail out wide and Briana pressures her, slamming right and left straights into jiggling jugs, followed by a left cross that clangs off Megan’s jaw and snaps her head sideways, sending her stumbling in that direction.

Briana takes control of the fourth round as she hammers a few more hooks to now bruised abs, and Megan is desperately trying to keep her feet moving as Bri almost knocks her for a loop a few times.

Round 5:
Briana taking control of the fight now, looking sharp, looking fit, and looking dangerous. The confidence seems to grow as she belts Megan along the ropes, hammering that very sore looking midriff as Fox starts to lurch forward and clutch at tummy.

But, just as the crowd anticipates the rising prodigy’s killer blow, Fox bounces left off of the ropes and Evigan stumbles through smashing only air, leaving her wide open. Megan pivots and SLAMS her left glove into the side of Briana’s head.

Briana sways, then stumbles, then falls, right onto her firm butt! Evigan blinking her eyes, staring at nothing as the ref begins the count and Megan is suddenly grinning, almost as surprised by the instant turn-around as the raucous crowd certainly are.

Briana able to sluggishly push herself up to both feet by the 8 count, but those eyes are still wide and less focused as a moment ago. That huge shot from Meg-Fox certainly doing a job on the previously in-control Evigan, who only has to turtle for a few moments before the bell sounds and she is able to stagger into her corner, her crew looking quite concerned.

Round 6:
Briana doesn’t look herself and Megan can see it, that sly grin curling her lips a tell-tale sign of her confidence now. Foxy still looks sore, but she at least looks mentally aware, which is better than the state of Bri’s body language. Megan comes in hot and heavy, swinging a hard left high, and when Briana leans and shuffles, backwards, she wobbles unsteadily, sending alarm bells and a panicked yell from her corner.

Briana is unable to do much as Megan pushes and smacks her left glove through jawline, then bangs the right uppercut HARD up under Evigan’s chin. The crowd erupts as the highly touted Evigan timbers straight over onto her back on the canvas, lights completely out.

Megan Fox lifts her arms high into the air, instantly knowing she has the victory before the referee gets anywhere near ten as Briana lays motionless at her feet.

Sure enough the count does dutifuly come along, and Briana is sleeping right through it.

Megan Fox wins, KO6!

Post-fight:
Mega-Fox making a huge statement, reclaiming her right to hunt the gold. “Take that! I told you she was overrated. Better yet, I’m UNDERrated, and here’s your proof. I floored the bytch. She has nothing on me, and she better get out of the way so I can climb those rankings, or she’ll just get beat up again and again. I’m back, and I’m going to the top, and no overrated bytches can stop me. Not Briana, and not anyone. I WILL claim that title.”
