Before: “This is pretty exciting for me,” Ashley Benson informs the press at the pre-fight gathering of reporters, “I love to fight girls from other countries. Alicia’s showed some good stuff so far, but I want to be the one to test just how good she is. Now I happened to think that won’t be as good as I am, but I am looking forward to an exciting fight with someone I’ve never boxed before.”

The Swedish-born Alicia Vikander is smiling as well: “I know the reputation of the Punchers and fighting one of them should be a very good test for me. I won my last two fights over Willa Holland Leighton Meester. So I feel ready to take on someone of Ashley’s quality. I agree wih Ashley: this will be an exciting fight!”

Both fighters come to the ring on Fight Night clearly eager to get this going. Ashley’s in a sexy red one piece with matching gloves and boots. Hair in ponytail secured by a red scrunchy. Alicia in black bikini with white gloves and boots (black lacings). Her brunette hair in a battle braid down her back. The referee has no trouble with the instructions and getting fighters to their corners. They stand there nervously pounding gloves together until bell rings. It’s on!

R1: Ashley wasting no time in putting pressure on Alicia with a fast-moving attack that alternates between knocking her head back and stuffing her in the belly. Alicia a bit slow getting her jab going but it is a pretty good one once she gets it rolling. Ashley smacked up the head and then smacked in the chops. Trading to the body with Ashley doing more maneuvering and Alicia slow in keeping up, but she is dogged in her counterpunching so Ashley’s feeling the shots to her body as the round goes on. Ashley then moves forward striking first at Alicia’s midsection and then swatting her chin. Alicia momentarily stunned but doesn’t back off much. Ashley winning the opening round wide.

R2: Alicia challenging Ashley as she comes in this time. Ashley getting hit hard to head and body early, but then she backs off and circles. Alicia still having some difficulty in keeping up with the blonde, but the probably fades as the round goes on. Ashley moves in again and does some nice work to Alicia’s body. Ashley not looking comfortable at close-in action and backs off so she can fight at range. Comes late though and Ashley secures the round, but margin narrows.

R3: Alicia seems to have found her distance. She is scoring very nicely whenever Ashley tries to come in. Ashley stubbornly keeps coming forward and she is paying the price as her face is getting lumped up an her body pounded with increasingly strong Alicia Vikander hooks and straight shots. Final charge by Ashley ends with her head being swiveled by a very sweet right cross that sends Ashley spinning away. Ashley somehow regains her balance and the rounds ends before Alicia can take advantage but the Swedish fighter wins her first round wide.

R4: Ashley trying to circle around Alicia and find an opening, but Alicia quickly cuts her off and uses driving rights and lefts to force the blonde back. Ashley’s chin clipped repeatedly and she is backing away on shaking gams as Alicia keeps firing away. Now its Alicia circling and shooting in punches, Ashley looking increasingly befuddled as her bell is rung several times. Yet the blonde’s sturdy legs keeping her going as she tries to ride out the storm. Late in round, Alicia finally risks a close-in venture and gets some good hooks into Ashley’s juggs. Ashley not reacting quickly. He5 jab is weak and easily brushed aside by the strong Alicia attack. Ashley making it to the bell, but she is rather forlorn looking as she trudges back to her corner, her face bloodied and swollen.

R5: Desperate work by the Puncher corner crew gets Ashley on her feet and headed towards Alicia as the new round gets started. Ashley trying to use her jab to counter, but Alicia willing to take those punches as she moves forward to the attack. Early quick hooks to belly to distract Ashley and then a muscular rising uppercut to the chin. Ashley sent toppling backwards like a felled tree! She lands hard, actually bouncing before coming to rest, arms thrown out but legs straight and boots pointed at Alicia, who looks a bit bemused at the sight, but then quickly hurries to neutral corner. Delay doesn’t help Ashley Benson who pushes herself up on her right arm, but that’s it. She is OUT!
The Winner: Alicia Vikander KO5

After: “Very good fight for me,” Alicia calmly tells the press, “Ashley gave me some problems early, but I figured them out. Then it was just a matter of taking her down. That I did. I thank her for the fight, but now I’m ready to move on to better fighters.”

Ashley Benson not able to speak to press until later. Her face is not a pretty sight, but she is not afraid to show it: “She beat me that’s a fact. I wanted this fight and I seem to have gotten more than I bargained for, She’s learning fast, but so do I. If and when we meet again, I don’t plan to be the one with her butt on the canvas at the end.”

Impressive win for Alicia Vikander. Ashley Benson is no pushover, but thanks to Alicia, she finished the night on the canvas. Knowing Ms, Benson, she will be looking to put this loss behind her in her next fight, while Alicia Vikander should be looking to see where she strike next in the target-rich Flyweight environment.
