(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The second bout tonight in Gateshead's International Stadium sees an extra bout to the scheduled fights as Maisie Williams meets Georgie Thompson.
The 19 year old Maisie will be hoping that this will be an early birthday present as soon she'll turn 20 and will be hoping to improve on her 3 wins (3kos) and 2 losses.
Her opponent Georgie should give her that gift if the 39 year olds record is anything to go by, currently her record is only 1 win (1ko) and 12 losses.
Rumours from the Girls Friday stable is that they want to build up their youngster up slowly after seeing what happened to Ivana on the last PPV, pundits are saying though that maybe picking Georgie is a bit overkill for someone like Maisie, who has beaten Emilia Clarke on her debut.
Each girl is interviewed separately by BBU reporter Anna Woolhouse in the build up, with Maisie telling Anna "well I certainly look forward to turning 20" shaking her head and giggling.
"God I'm going to feel old, but at least getting to beat up someone to celebrate is going to give me some joy" winking as she says that.
Asked about Georgie, she answers "she doesn't worry me, I need to get rounds as I wasn't as active in my debut year as I hoped I'd be, this will hopefully get me in fighting shape to fight the bigger fighters"
In Georgie's interview, she starts by saying "it's strange talking to you like this Anna, I'm used to sitting next to you at a desk" as both girls smile thinking about it.
Changing the subject, she says "honestly though, I don't know how many more years I'll be this side of the interview and not doing what we do full time" looking somber as she seems to admit that to herself for the first time.
But she defiantly says "I am going to make last parts of my story the complete opposite to the start, Maisie will be the first I beat, who ever else thinks I'm easy pickings can come and see how easy I am"
Fight night, out comes Maisie Williams first, she has Lauren Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro by her sides as she smiles at the crowd, who give her a loud cheer, the popular Game of Throne star starting to walk down to the ring soon enough waving to the crowd as she goes.
She is wearing a red sports bra with a white House of Stark symbol on the center of her bra, she wears a red shorts to go with red gloves and shoes, not exactly friendly colours this way, but the fans seem to let Maisie have a bye this time.
Climbing into the ring, Maisie jogs to her corner, looking ready to charge out at Georgie the way she's bouncing on her toes, Lauren trying to keep her calm.
Out comes Georgie now, the crowd less generous to her as she stands with her coach at the top of the entrance ramp.
Walking down to the ring, she's wearing a white sports bra, to go along with matching trunks, gloves and boots to complete her look.
Climbing into the ring, she gives Maisie a hard stare, hoping to get into the youngsters head, but she gets an equally hard stare back from across the ring.
Both fighters are brought to the ring centre by the referee, straight away they go nose to nose, staring each other down.
Asked to touch gloves, they bang then together before heading back to their corners, both look relaxed as they wait for the bell to ring, the referee giving the signal to start 10 rounds of flyweight boxing action.

Round 1:
"Ding" out come the fighters, Georgie trying to get onto the front foot, Maisie quick on the move, dancing around her older opponent with her jab flicking out.
Georgie scores a good right hand to the cheek of Maisie, but takes three fast thrown punches to her cheeks to turn her face side to side and straight away she is on her heels.
The blonde is finding it hard to catch Maisie with anything as the youngster ducks, leans and dances out of the way of punches being thrown at her.
Maisie smirking as she sees how slow Georgie is compared to her, before she catches Georgie with a hard right landing on her temple.
Georgie looking hurt as Maisie pounds her way forward, the blondes guard dropping down as she gets caught repeatedly to her cheeks with a flurry of punches.
The older fighter knocked onto the ropes, Maisie slowing down her attack as Thompson covers up as tight as she can.
The body becoming the target for Maisie, digging her shots around the guard of Georgie, who starts firing back to try and get her way off the ropes.
Maisie taking two straight punches to the top of her head as she steps back, letting Georgie off the ropes, who looks relieved to have breathing room again.
Though her relief is short lived, Maisie letting her off the ropes knowing she'd open herself up and is proven right as she Maisie lands an uppercut that snaps Georgie's head back after she'd missed with a left over her head.
Late in the round, Maisie working Georgie back around the ring, the bell ringing to save her from more punishment for now it seems.
The crowd cheering Maisie on her way back to her corner, Lauren trying to keep her grounded, telling her to keep on Georgie.
Georgie looks shaken, clearly not thinking Maisie could do that to her, she looks up to the sky, cameras catching her asking "can I win this?" To her coach and getting no reply, telling in it's own way.
Round 2:
Georgie looks to stay on the defensive, playing into the hands of Maisie; who stalks her across the ring, the reporter throws a few jabs to the head of the actress that doesn't connect.
Seeing her chance; Maisie gets herself in tight to Georgie, landing several body shots and taking two punches to her face that don't seem to do much to her.
Stepping back a step, Maisie gives herself room to power a right hook to the chin of Georgie, putting the older girl down to her side.
Holding her jaw, Georgie is being counted out and it takes her till the count of 7 to push her way up to beat the count at 9, looking shaken but gamely wanting to continue.
Allowed to continue, Georgie tries her best to fight back but Maisie is swarming her with quick little punches that back her to the ropes.
A hard right flies in from Maisie to the cheek of Georgie, whose legs turn to jelly and her eyes shut as Maisie keeps hitting her till the referee dives in to separate the girls, then waving the fight off as he judges that Georgie isn't fit to defend herself.

Winner: Maisie Williams TKO Round 2

After:
Maisie winning with the ease expected, pundits who know Georgie will be wondering how to word the review for this fight, probably not bringing it up with Georgie later tonight when they go out for drinks.
The victor of course doesn't care what people think right now, jumping up and down on the spot with her hands raised to loud cheers from the fans.
Lauren into the ring to lift her up and carry her around the ring as her opposite number helps Georgie back to her stool.
Georgie's swollen cheeks and as she holds her jaw, show how bad a beating over a short space of time she took, her coach trying to clean her up to make her presentable for the results being announced.
After that is done and her gloves are taken off, she is going to head to the ring centre, but is surprised to see Maisie, who is finally down after being carried; come up to her and give her a hug.
"Thank you for taking this fight at short notice, I hope you don't hate me over this" says Maisie to a stunned Georgie, maybe secretly Maisie has been told to butter up Georgie, since she is still a reporter when not fighting.
But Georgie seems to take it as being sincere, hugging Maisie back and telling her "you did what you had to, it wasn't fun for me but this was business"
The girls head to the ring centre together and the final announcement can be made with Maisie's hand getting raised.
Georgie nods to Maisie before she climbs out the ring, looking down at the ramp as she heads up it, maybe she is full grasping how many fights she can have before it is time to hang the gloves up fully.
Her face shows how much she has to think about this as she finds Denise Van Outen and Anna Woolhouse in the backstage area, rushing to hug her and console her.
They tell her that they'll get her a drink each when they head out after the show, Georgie smiling as she thinks how lucky she is to have friends like these to fall back on.
Maisie meanwhile leaves the ring not long afterwards, bowing to the crowd at the bottom of the ramp to show her thanks for their support like an actress leaving the stage and not a fighter leaving a ring.
Before she heads off up the ramp, looking excited, especially as Lauren tells her what the girls in the stable have planned for her to celebrate her birthday in a few weeks.
Grinning as she hugs Lauren, heading into the locker room to the other girls smiling at her, telling her how proud they are of her.
If the idea was to build the youngsters confidence up, it seems to be working as she finally has a run of form to build off after a tough start to her career.
But it will be interesting to see when she takes a step up again in class, because she can't stay at the level of Thompson all her career, though at only 20 soon, she has a heap of time left to make a legacy.
