Intro:
It's time for the ACB flyweight title bout, Bonnie Sveen gets her first chance at gold, fighting the champion Emily Browning in a fight that has been building up for several months.
The 27 year old Bonnie Sveen has been getting noticed by pundits and other fighters for her impressive start to her career.
Starting off at 4 wins, all by knockout and just 1 loss, her best of 3 against Mutya Buena got her in the BBU press as she proved she can hit hard and take the hits, before calling Emily out.
The 28 year old champion Emily has beaten some of the best over 3 different organizations and enters this fight with a record of 8 wins, 6 by knockout and 8 defeats.
Though she is on a 2 fight losing streak, that was to Ivana Baquero and the BBU flyweight champion Jenna Louise Coleman.
The fight was finally agreed with a contract signing in a boxing ring for the press, with the girls brought face to face after the fight was arranged to stare each other down.
Emily lifting her title belt up and Bonnie staring at the belt, before back to the champ to tell her to take photos of the belt because she will be taking off her soon.
The girls starting to argue and organisers having to get between them, both trying to shove the people blocking them out the way to get at the other, before they calm down and leave the ring.
In the build up, Bonnie told the press "I have waited to wait Emily since the end of January, training to make myself ready to earn my first title in what I hope will be a cabinet full of them"
Talking of Emily, she says "I hate to say it but she does deserve the credit she gets, she is a good boxer but I'm a fighter, no way can she survive my power and like I have told her, that title is coming home with me"
Emily in her interviews saying "I am getting back into more action more this year and this is the perfect fight to get me into the groove again"
Her views on Bonnie were "she's a tank, but she has many holes in her defence, she is slow and too stupid to stop me"
Fight night, Bonnie is the first fighter out to the ramp, her coach behind her as she begins her walk to the ring looking focused.
She's wearing a pink one piece swimsuit with matching gloves, barefoot and has her long blonde hair in a braid.
Entering the ring, she raises her fists to the crowd, her growing fan base in the BBU and ACB cheering her on as she heads to her corner, warming up to be full ready for this.
Now it's Emily's turn to come out, Nikki Visser getting to hold her belt up for the crowd to see as Emily bounces on her toes behind her coach.
Heading to the ring, Emily is wearing a red one piece swimsuit with small white strips down the sides, she has white gloves on and is barefoot too.
Entering the ring, Emily steps to the ring centre and shows off her hand speed for the crowd and Bonnie with a simple drill.
Before she heads to her corner and goes through her own warm up routine with Nikki's help, then heads to the ring centre with Bonnie coming from the other side.
Both girls go head to head, staring deep into the others eyes to try and get the other to back down, both want this fight badly though, not backing an inch to the other.
The referee having to nudge them apart so he can ask for a touch of gloves between the two fighters, after a tense moment, the girls thud their gloves together loudly then head back to their corners.
Both girls ready to start, the referee looks at his watch then signals for the bell to be rung to start 10 rounds of ACB flyweight championship action.

Round 1:
"Ding" off we go with both girls heading straight towards each other, straight away we are getting an idea of how each fighter plans on taking the other down.
As expected, Bonnie is the more flat footed, rumours are she's sparred with her new best friend in boxing Ariel Kaplan before this fight, she looks to power through Emily.
But as the early action shows, she has to catch the elusive champion first, Emily up on her toes, using her speed to her advantage, fighting with a quick bursts of attacks, getting to the inside after making the blonde miss to attack her body.
Then Bonnie lands a right hook to knock Emily back a step but misses a follow up punch over the champs head and gets caught with a right to her chin.
Bonnie doesn't look too fazed by that punch, coming forwards to try and press her opponent backwards, Emily is too quick though and is moving around the challenger with relative ease.
Landing two hard rights and lefts to the cheeks of Bonnie has Emily's fans jumping for joy, but she gets caught coming back out with a straight punch to her head, knocking it back.
Bonnie closing the gap between them as Emily tries to retreat to space, slamming two straight like punches through the guard of the brunette, showing that raw power that Emily needs to avoid to succeed.
The girls try on the inside for several moments, Bonnie landing more punches as she rocks the guard of Emily.
Who times her retreat this time, stepping back to make Bonnie miss with a right hook and steps in to land three punches straight into the face of Bonnie, knocking her back a step now to show her own power.
Though she gets pushed back by Bonnie and caught flush to her left cheek with a right cross, turning her head and unbalancing her.
Emily finds her feet again quickly and dodges another hard thrown right, allowing her a chance to land two body shots, before stepping back again to annoy the challenger with that footwork.
The bell rings with Bonnie with her hands on her hips as she watches back to her corner, clearly annoyed at herself for not getting at Emily from the bell.
The champion jogs back to her corner, looking calm as her coach washes her face, she's not over confident as she has tasted the power of Bonnie, knowing she can't eat them all night and expect to keep her title.
Round 2:
Meeting near the ring centre again, Bonnie starting to learn to keep her guard tight, knowing that Emily is going to get in the first few hits whatever she tries.
Emily doing just that with some good body shots to the side of the challenger, before stepping out the range of a wild right.
As she tries to time another skirmish style attack, Bonnie let's her guard take two shots, then times her left cross onto the ribs of Emily.
She can be heard gasping as she gets caught and Bonnie goes onto the front foot, pounding the guard of Emily and piercing enough shots through to knock her back several steps.
Emily moves away from Bonnie when she gets the chance, slipping around Bonnie, who is hunting her down, keeping herself facing towards Emily to stop her getting around her sides.
Trading several single shots, Emily is looking for that opening again, thinking she has spotted it, stepping forward quickly and landing a shot to the centre of her body.
But Bonnie hits her with a right hook that shakes the champ and now Emily is being knocked onto a set of ropes with pounding rights and lefts to her face.
Emily having to cover up, now it's Bonnie's fans cheering her on as she starts slamming her fists into the sides of Brownings body.
The champ has to clinch up to get the referee involved, as Bonnie presses her head into Emily's, trying to show her dominance over her rival.
Separated, Emily manages to land a good double jab over the guard of Bonnie, but it's not long before she's forced to fight in tight.
Bonnie starting to knock Emily back around the ring, the brunette having to cover up as she can't find a way back at her.
The bell rings to end the round, Bonnie looking more relaxed, heading to her corner, while Emily is regretting not keeping control over Bonnie.
Round 3:
Bonnie is back on the front foot, Emily throwing her jab at the blonde to try and keep her back, but finding her rival is shoving through the jabs and snaps the head of the champ back with straight punches.
The crowd are watching closely as Emily is forced to has to stay on the defensive, Bonnie pounding away at her guard.
The arms of Emily are starting to redden under the assault, she tries to slip under a right cross but Bonnie steps out the way and catches Emily with a left to her eye.
Emily yelping in pain as Bonnie has her opening and pounds the champion back towards a corner, this time Emily having to fight hard to try and keep from being pinned to the ropes.
Both fighters fighting in tight, Emily almost headbutting Bonnie as she rushes forward to dig her right into the body of the challenger, causing her to grunt with each punch.
Bonnie steps back to try and create space, letting Emily off the hook though, Browning quickly moving away from her to get a moment to breath and think this through.
Emily starting to get back into gear, the fighters catching each other cleanly as Emily moves in and out of range.
Bonnie steps in quickly to close the gap between the girls and if not for Emily being fully focused, she may have got caught again with another power punch.
The round ends with both girls coming forward to fight in tight, Emily throwing some uppercuts to try and make Bonnie not so quick to get into her face, they don't connect flush though and as the bell rings, the referee has to get between the girls to shove them apart.
Both girls wanting to continue, but he orders them back, pointing to their corners and warning them not to push his patience.
Jogging to their corners, it's Emily who is looking banged up, her cheeks slightly swelling but she has caught Bonnie with some cracking body punches, starting to redden her opponents body.
Their coaches doing their jobs and it's Emily's coach who is the loudest, telling her to keep her head and not think about the power of her opponent.
Round 4:
Emily seeming to find another gear starts off the round strong, not getting desperate yet as she shows her champions qualities off by sticking to her stick and move tactics.
Again she almost headbutts Bonnie, not intentionally but it still annoys the challenger after she gets her body rattled with three unanswered body shots.
She complains to the referee, seeming to forgot the first rule of boxing; always defend yourself! Emily steps in as she is distracted and cracks her across the chin with two cross punches.
Bonnie doesn't have time to complain this time as Emily sticks on her and pressures the powerful blonde, knocking her to the ropes for the first time in the fight.
The girls go toe to toe as Bonnie is fighting hard to get off the ropes and Emily finds that her opponent isn't weakened enough to simply stick to her this close and try to trade with her.
Bonnie gets off the ropes, but finds a resurgent Emily hard to hit, moving her head and feet to keep away from the challenger.
Making her miss then getting inside to slam a flurry of punches that find guard this time around, but it is frustrating her opponent, making her make mistakes now.
Leaving herself more open as she tries to get close to Emily, finding the brunette catching her to the face with straights and jabs.
The bell rings with Bonnie looking up to the sky, not believing that Emily shook off such a bad round and came back at her with such calm.
Emily meanwhile still looks sore but is grinning at her coach, whispering "that is how you beat her" though as her coach points out, Bonnie isn't beaten yet by any means.
Round 5:
Bonnie looks a little angst, moving out to get at Emily, both girls snapping some good jabs at each other, but it's clear that Emily is landing the cleaner punches as Bonnie's are somewhat erratic.
Emily not looking fussed at what Bonnie is doing now, letting her come hunt her down and making her pay with stiff counter strikes through the open guard.
A lunge from Bonnie opens her up to a cracking right hook to her chin, taking the legs from Sveen and down goes the blonde challenger to all fours!
Emily raises her fists to the crowd thinking she's took out her rival, her fans seem to agree as they roar their support.
The referee is counting Bonnie while this cheering is happening, the blonde shoving herself up to sit on her heels, blood rolling from her lips down her face, before she pushes herself the rest of the up to beat the count at 8.
Once the order to continue is made, Emily is in the face of Bonnie, trying to finish this with a barrage of punches snapping into the guard of Bonnie, who is now the one retreating.
Bonnie shows her toughness by throwing back some punches to Emily's face after shoving her back to stop being assaulted.
Emily finding that Bonnie isn't going to go away so easily as she tries to get back in tight and finds herself in a fire fight with her opponent.
The girls slamming punches up top, before Bonnie clinches up, as she is still feeling the effects of that knockdown.
Emily ending the round strong as Bonnie keeps behind her guard and the brunette works it with hard shots to try and break it open.
Returning to their corners, Emily taps her right glove to her coaches knuckles, he gets to work wiping the sweat from her face and keeps trying to reduce the swelling on her face.
While in Bonnie's corner, it's all hands on deck to clean her bloody nose up and reduce the swelling on her cheeks, after the blood stops flowing from her nose, she shakes her head to try and rid herself of the cobwebs hanging around in there before she has to head out for the next round.
Round 6:
Bonnie starts off the round much more defensive then she had throughout the rest of the fight, giving Emily some comfort as she comes on forward behind her jab more safely then when Bonnie was throwing power shots out readily.
Emily is the one to plug the gap now and lands two hard punches to the side of the body, Bonnie groaning under the attack but she is still standing tall.
The girls trade a few punches till Emily slips under a right punch once more and steps under to land an overhand right.
Bonnie backs up as Emily goes on the hunt, piston like punches from the champ are thrown towards the nose of Bonnie with one slipping thought to cause the challenger to groan out in pain.
Two more power punches press Bonnie further back and it looks like Emily is going to go for the kill soon as Bonnie just doesn't seem to have any answers.
She finds one as Emily steps forwards to go to work on the body, instead as she lands another digging left fist to the ribs of Bonnie, she doesn't get her left back as the blonde connects with a right to her eye.
Whether a lucky punch or not will be debated after the fight, but it hurts Emily, who yells out in pain and Bonnie seems to find strength from it.
Both fighters going for each other with some vicious shots, Bonnie's nose looks to be bleeding worse then before, but she slams a right into that left eye of Emily's again, swelling starting to form around it, giving Bonnie a target.
Which she uses as she parries a left from Emily, then digs her own left to the ribs of Browning and a follow up right to that eye again.
Emily can be heard shouting "son of a bytch!" As she retreats now and Bonnie powers forwards, slinging rights and lefts towards the head of her rival.
Browning again calls back onto her experience, leading Sveen by the nose into a mistake, making her miss and cracking a right into the cheek of the strong blonde.
The round ends soon enough with Bonnie and Emily both looking hurt, scowling at each other and mouthing a few choice words at each other, before they finally head back to their corners.
Their coaches having their work cut out for them as both girls grimace at being touched, Emily's left eye looking puffy to add to her woes now.
Round 7:
Out come the girls, Emily starting off well with her footwork still giving her a slight edge it seems as she works around Bonnie.
Bonnie is able to work her punches into that left eye, knocking the head back of Browning; whose groaning each time she's getting caught.
That early advantage Emily had in this round is quickly being taken away as Bonnie is starting to really pound her back to the ropes.
The girls trading near the ropes up top, but it's Bonnie who still has the power of the two fighters, Emily's left eye is starting to shut as Bonnie is cracking some vicious shots around it or on it.
Emily stumbles back after a particular harsh right hand lands just above the eye, a thin trickle of blood is flowing from it and Browning's fans gasp.
The champ won't go away easily, getting right back at Bonnie with a nice two punch combo up top, before landing a right to the bloody nose of Bonnie.
Suddenly the blonde is looking shaky, being pressed back across the ring by the brunette, fans chanting both fights names as they keep at each other, neither giving the other an inch as this bloody war continues.
Emily lands a nice jab but she misses with a follow up right cross, Bonnie getting her head out the way in time and countering with a hard right straight to the cut above that swollen eye.
Browning crying out in pain and then down she goes from a nasty right hook, the champion down on her side looking in real trouble as fans stand up to get a better look.
The referee waits till Bonnie can get her sore body into a neutral corner before starting his count, Emily looking through one good eye at the legs of Bonnie, while blood runs down her face onto the canvas to make the scene look even worse for her.
Up to 5 and Emily starts pushing herself up to a stunned crowd, Bonnie even looks shocked that the power that has knocked out other fighters with ease hasn't gotten the job done.
As Emily beats the count at 9, nearly stumbling as she gets up, Bonnie takes a deep breath, knowing the fight is now in her control, she has to fight smart.
First though Emily is taken over to the ringside doctor at a neutral corner, he checks that cut above her eyebrow and the swollen eye, Emily telling him she can fight and maybe unwisely, he let's it continue to a loud cheer.
Not long left in the round, Emily on the defensive as Bonnie ploughs into her, trying to find that knockout punch and Emily almost wrestling with her, the two tripping up and falling to the canvas.
The referee having to help both fighters up, warning them to keep things clean, Bonnie looking upset as she glares hard at Emily.
Ordered to fight again, Bonnie gives chase on Emily but the bell rings mere seconds later to end the round.
Emily looks really scared, her coach desperate to get her ready for the next round, she can feel her title slipping away, she has fought so hard and yet it could be for nothing, a sense of Deju vu from her fight with Jenna Louise Coleman less then a month ago.
Bonnie doesn't look a whole lot better, but she looks slightly more relaxed, though not by much as her mind races with what could go wrong.
Round 8:
Both fighters somehow make it out of their corners, not much zip in their steps or their punches, though as the early exchange shows, Bonnie is the stronger.
A right hook turns Emily's legs to jelly and a follow up left puts her down on her back, this time her eyes are shut as the referee checks to see if she's OK and he waves the fight off as Emily is knocked out!

Winner: New ACB flyweight champion Bonnie Sveen KO Round 8

After:
The arena is stunned, Bonnie Sveen has done it! She has conquered Emily Browning as she said she would and now can call herself a champion after only 6 fights.
The blonde bomber needs to lean on the ropes, not looking much like a champion as she stares down at the beaten Emily.
A stretcher being brought into the ring for Emily, who is awoken by the doctor but in clearly no state to leave the ring under her own power.
The sight of Emily leaving that way has her fans even more upset that she has lost, but Bonnie's fans are jumping for joy in the rafters.
Bonnie's coach gives her a big hug, not worrying about her nose bleeding on his white T-shirt, he's just so happy in the moment.
Both of them smile after he let's her, he remembers it might be good to clear her up before she gets the title, giving her water to rehydrate her and her gloves taken off.
Bonnie's friends and family are allowed into the ring for this moment as she is finally ready to receive her title, walking to the ring centre where the referee hands her the belt and raises her hand for everyone in the arena to see.
Tears flow easily for Bonnie, this is the greatest moment of her young career, holding the ACB title is everything to her at this moment.
As all her closest people in her life give her a group hug, she doesn't want this moment to end, her fans chanting her name.
The moment does have to end though as our main event is coming up soon, Bonnie is told by organisers that she has to take her leave soon, as she nods in reply and wipes her tears away.
Everyone leaves the ring together and heads up the ramp, with Bonnie last up so she can turn around and hold the big gold ACB title over her head, looking so proud of herself for achieving her dream.
But the questions of what next begin alright, can Bonnie do as she says by winning the BBU and FCBA titles in future, she still has a long way to go on that.
Especially when you have to assume that Emily Browning will be after a rematch and the ACB flyweight division is littered with names like Danni Minogue, Havana Brown, Penny Higgs to name a few of the girls who'll be after the new champion.
For now, Bonnie will probably rest up and celebrate tomorrow, when she feels fit enough to do so after tonight.
