HAYDEN PANETTIERE VS MICHELLE WILLIAMS

Before: “I am concerned about Hayden, truly I am,” Mish Williams tells the press, “the poor thing just hasn’t been herself since Jenna Coleman beat her in March. She actually thinks she can beat me for the 3rd straight time. I will admit I can be beaten now and then, but there is no way you can be me three times. Not that I don’t welcome the chance to even things up. After all, it was 2011 when we last fought, I sometimes think you were afraid this would happen and have been avoiding me. You must have been pretty desperate to want to call me out now.”

Hayden Panettiere looks over at Mish as she stands at the podium: “Mish, you know the closest you’ve ever come to beating me was a DRAW and I, of course won the other two fights. I was looking for a prominent flyweight to beat—but I decided to settle for you. I am sorry you’ve had to wait so long but I had more important fighters on my dance card.”

Mish wrinkles her nose: “We’ll just see what settling for me gets you.”

“Another win,” Hayden says, “now if you don’t mind, I have to be going. There is just too much hot air in this room.”

The reporters roar with laughter, but Michelle does not look at all pleased. She turns and marches from the stage and can be heard muttering “ ‘Hayden Panties’ is going to be sorry she crossed me…”

Coming fight night Michelle Williams is in a stunning light gray with black lace trim bra and panties set. Black gloves with light gray laces. Her blonde hair short and sassy. Hayden in bra and panties with horizontal bars of dark and light red. Dark red gloves with little ree laces. Hair in a ponytail. She and Mish exchange cool, sneering looks, but otherwise instructions go off smoothly and shortly both are in their corners.
R1: Hayden on the attack early with some close-in punching to Mish’s breasts and stomach/ Mish not liking this, but keeping cool as she organizes her defensive jab. Then Hayden cracks a hard right to the head and a follow-up left to the chin of Michelle Williams. Mish looking shaken by the shots to her head, falls back with her gloves up around her face, so Hayd goes to the body with a series of hard belly hooks. Michelle finally stabilizes behind her jab, but Hayden has taken the opening round wide.

R2: Mish more aggressive as this round gets started which leads to a fierce back-and-forth punch exchange as Hayden attempts to resume her offense. Battle going back and forth as every time one or the other takes a step back, Mish or Hayd rally and force the other fighter back, Makes for exciting viewing and the arena crowd is cheering them on. Late in the round Michelle hammers away steadily to Hayden’s body. Hayden absorbing a lot of leather and eventually it catches up with her as she retreats with a greenish look from all the belly busting she has taken. Mish maintains a close, steady pursuit and it is enough to allow her to edge Hayden out to claim her first round.

R3: Hayden strikes first as she and Mish charge each other. Hard banging right to the jaw puts a tremor through Mish’s body. Mishy recoiling on rubbery legs as Hayden chases after her. Mish giving up her body to protect her head and Hayden happy to pound belly and boobs. Michelle able to get the jab going again to slow Hayden up late in the round, but Foxfire blonde happily books this round wide on her side of the scorecard. Michelle looking sullen as Hayden struts away headed for her corner.

R4: Michelle strikes back hard as soon as she and Hayden get within punching range. Mish fakes Hayden out with a feint at the head, but strikes with deep hooks to Hayd’s tummy. Hayden up on her toes and bent forward from the quick strikes. Mish vengefully following up with more quick belly shots that have Hayden gurgling as she tip-toes backwards all hunched up as she gasps for air. Michelle moving around and banging Hayden’s head to keep her younger rival rattled. Hayden finally able to get some counters going late to avoid a sweep, but Mish smiling unpleasantly as a glassy-eyed Hayden stumbles back to her stool. Round won wide seems to have the HISC blonde in charge.

R5: Foxfire corner crew working hard on Hayden during the break, but trainer Virginia Madsen looking worried as Hayden slow off her stool at the opening bell. Hayden sluggish and slow in her counters as Michelle comes in on her, moving around and firing in punches. Michelle doing a good job keeping the clearly hurt Hayden off balance and setting her up for more and more accurate punching. Hayden looking increasingly desperate as she tries to keep Mish at bay and she’s just not able to do it. Then Mish strikes again to the belly with a fresh flurry of those powerful hooks. HAYDEN GOES DOWN! Hayden’s knees give way and she folds down clutching her ravaged midsection with a look of utter misery on her face. Mish goes happily to the neutral corner and the referee moves in. Hayden struggling to rise, but she every time she tries, her legs fail and she is back on her knees. The count goes passed “TEN!” as Hayden hangs her head in defeat. Michelle raises her arms in triumph!
THE WINNER: MICHELLE WILLIAMS DEFEATS HAYDEN PANETTIERE KO5!

After: After accepting congratulatory hugs from Claire Danes, Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman, Michelle has her gloves removes and strolls over to the Foxfire corner. Hayden sitting on her stool, ice packs on her heavily bruised midsection as tears are still running down her cheeks.

“Oh, poor Hayden, you finally have to admit I have learned how to make you quit!” Mish taunts.

“I didn’t quit!” Hayden cries and tries to rise, but her legs again fail her.

“Maybe your mind didn’t, but I made your body quit! Oh let me do something about all that pain,” Mish says with a chilling grin.

Hayden doesn’t have the chance to answer Michelle has pulled her to her feet, thrust back into the turnbuckle and then climbed the ring ropes so that Hayden’s face is being pressed into Mishy’s sweaty belly. Michelle grabs a handful of blonde Hayden hair with her left hand while raising her right fist in victory. Hayden trying to escape Mishy’s smothering tummy but she’s held firmly against the turnbuckle. Finally Michelle feels Hayden go limp and jumps back. Hayden slides down the turnbuckle to a seated position, chin on her collarbone and snoring softly.

Michelle turns to a stony-faced Virginia Madsen and says: “When she wakes up tell her I’m looking forward to our next fight so I can get us even at 2 wins each. That is if she wants to fight me again.”

“Just leave Williams, you’ve had your fun, now get out of our corner,” Virginia snaps.

Mish gives her a smirking grin and saunters back to her own corner. Meanwhile Virginia Madsen tries to get the groggy Hayden out of the ring.

It was a lively fight while it lasted. Not often that Hayden is beaten to the body, but that is pretty much the story here. Michelle Williams got rocked, but came back and just pounded belly until Hayden’s legs gave out. Very effective win for the HISC veteran which should boost her flyweight contender rankings. Hayden Panettiere’s hopes of bouncing back from her loss to Jenna Leigh Coleman thwarted even though a loss to Mish Williams is by no means a disgrace. Still that’s two losses in a row and that’s not a good thing for a proud fighter like Hayden. So while Mish looks for future opportunities, Hayd faces more regrouping, fans will be watching both efforts with interest
