Emily Ratajkowski vs Rita Ora

Before: “No grudge match here. Just plain-old, good-looking models going at each other,” grins VIX’s Head Trainer Steve Boyd as he speaks to reporters, straddled at one side by Emily Ratajkowski. Certainly some truth to his words as Emily removes her white silk robe as if for emphasis, revealing her seductively plain black lingerie set underneath before she mounts the scales for the weigh-in.
Rita Ora, however, not entirely sure whether to take that comment as a compliment or an insult to her intelligence. She decides to go with the former, capitalising on the noise of the crowd and adding to it when she sheds her own minimalist clothing, reducing herself to her a set of white cotton skinnies and long stockings for the weighing machine.
Both girls casting fake smiles at one another as they pose in the center of stage, fists up and ready to go right there. Emily slightly taller than Rita, but Ora making up for it with her toned and lean figure. Officials get in between both girls as they start getting catty, calling each other words like ‘tramp’ and ‘whore’ and getting into each other’s faces. Looks like it got personal and ‘grudgy’ there pretty fast, Mr Boyd.
Perhaps this was his intention all along. Girls quickly herded to the ring where the referee waves for them to get to it.
Round 1: Girls certainly get aggressive as they meet in the center, sloppy punches however showing that neither girl has chalked up much experience in the ring just yet, allowing quite a few early punches to land as they punish each other’s faces. Rita letting out a shout as she scores a rather stiff blow to Emily’s cheek, eliciting a grunt from the brunette and an even louder cheer from the crowd. Emily not looking happy as she tries hitting back, but Rita holds her arms up high, denying her revenge. Overall, Ora scoring slightly more punches and thus slightly taking the lead in the first round.
Round 2: Same old same old as models score aplenty of punches but more due to sloppy defence than slick or precise offense. Emily plenty content with banging fists on Rita’s body as she stuns the fellow model with repeated shots. Rita realising that she can't just protect her pretty face amidst Emily’s bullying body work, but it’s too late with a late flurry of punches doing little to gain her traction. Rita’s lead evaporating at the bell as she huffs and bends over in pain, examining damage to her tattooed body whilst frowning at Emily’s direction, who’s comfortably striding back to her corner.
Round 3: Both girls upping the tempo, hoping to maintain their leads, and unspoken rule sees both girls choosing to go tit-for-tat with punches to the body and chest. Rita now taking revenge for Emily’s previous round’s exploitation of her body, tests Ratajkowski’s lean frame as well with stiff blows to the midsection. Double grunts as they exchange body blows all the way to the bell, actually speeding up and neither girl backing down. Referee has to impose himself and pry them apart. Once again, both girls having done some damage, but Rita redeems herself by showing she can out-punch her opponent any day, any time.
Round 4: Emily getting desperate and it’s only round 4. Shaky start as Rita tries to finish her off but Emily evades her with quick shuffling of feet out of the way. Emily still boxing at Rita’s face from afar, tagging her in the cheek and stopping her advance abruptly. Ora growling mid-round, tries to rush in yet again with a left jab, right hook aimed high, but Emily weaves back at last moment and the swing misses. Vixen bashes her opponent in the jugs left-right, before snapping her head backwards with a wicked uppercut! Crowd swings in the Vixen’s favour all of a sudden, roaring and jeering, but Emily can't finish Ora off when the bell suddenly rings.
Round 5: If we’re keeping score, Ratajkowski still in the lead, although Rita certainly making up for it with plenty of spunk but also some recklessness. Rita at it again in the fifth, charging out of corner but noticeably slower than before, trying to catch Emily off-balance with a flurry of lefts and rights thrown at the head. Emily absorbing on her guard or dodging out of the way, long legs serving her well. Rita not giving up though, steps in with another left right combo to the abdomen, some landing, screwing up Emily’s face in pain, but the brunette bombshell retaliates almost immediately with a counter-hook straight to the cheek: left hook, left hook, then right uppercut stuns Rita and staggers her back! Rita’s looking dazed and hurt behind her covered up mitts as her back hits the ropes. Here comes a determined Ratajkowski, crowding in, slamming hook after hook deep into the body and sides, thrashing the singer about. Rita just trying to survive now, look on face says she’s in world of pain. Gradually her guard comes down and Emily wastes no time, JACKING final uppercut straight up into the jaw! It’s f*cking over!! Rita’s out like a light as her body sways suspended for a moment before face collapses forward and hitting the canvas!
Official Decision: Emily Ratajkowski defeats Rita Ora via KO6!
After: Rita Ora understandably heartbroken afterwards as she’s slowly revived in her corner. Cornermen sponging her down, massaging the red from her skin. Later, pain transformed to anger as she recites to reporters: “Emily didn't beat me. I’m the one who got sloppy and tried to rush her. The girl doesn't have any skill in the ring. Only luck.”
Well, say what you want about Emily - the girl’s improving and is on a stellar trajectory, establishing an impressive win streak so far over other girls thought to have been on the same playing field as her. Whether she can hang with the top competitors of the Bantamweight division is, of course, another story. Nevertheless, the Vixen is all smiles when approached by reporters.
“Rita’s definitely tenacious. But I think I remained calm and followed my trainer’s instructions. We found out who was the more determined girl, didn't we?” Emily winks at the camera and strides back down the stadium aisle amidst the catcalls and whistles.
