(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The next bout tonight sees two Victoria Secret models lace up the gloves to do battle as Josephine Skriver and Lais Ribeiro step into the ring.
Josephine is 24 years old, 5'11 and comes from Copenhagen, Denmark, her record is a perfect 4 wins with 4 knockouts.
Lais is 27 years old, 6'1 and comes from Miguel Alves, Brazil, this is her BBU debut fight, though she has fought in the FCBA with 1 loss to her name.

Both girls are Victoria Secret Angels and when they met up at the press event, they showed people that they are friendly as they hugged each other.
Heading to their seats, Josephine is up first to speak to the press, smiling as she looks over the journalists before starting with "phew it's nice to be out of that gym and back planning to fight"
Before she gets down to business by saying "me and Lais as you can see have history, we've worked together many times and I can't say a bad word about her"
She adds "but this is what we both want to do, I want to be the best and when that bell rings it won't be my friend Lais in front of me, it will be some random girl who is trying to take my head off"
Lais smiling as she admits "I'm a little nervous, I mean this is the second time I've fought and I get to step into the ring with the unconquered Josephine"
Getting slightly more serious, she adds "but Josephine is right, I am not in this business to be second best to anyone, if you come at me you better bring your all, because I will knockout anyone who underestimates me"
Josephine nods as the girls get up and this time as they meet, they go nose to nose with an intense look on their face, the photographers at the event taking photos of the scene with gusto as these are two of the most beautiful women in the world.
As they are asked to leave the stage, both girls laugh and give each other one last big hug, they won't be hugging tomorrow till one has shown she's the better fighter.

Fight night in Milan's San Siro, Josephine is out relaxed with coach Lauren Berlingeri and a woman used to coming to this stadium in cut woman Eva Carneiro.
She looks relaxed as she she steps out onto the pitch, wearing a maroon bikini with matching gloves.
Grinning to the fans, she almost skips as she struts to the ring, climbing up the steps to more then a few wolfwhistles and a loud cheer.
She does a lap around the inside of the ring to show all the fans her body, then she settles into her corner to warm up get into the mindset to beat up Lais.
Out comes her opponent Lais with her corner team behind her, the Brazilian model looks confident judging by her big smile she has for the crowd.
She's wearing a yellow bikini with matching gloves, her hair is braided, showing off her stunning face and body.
Waving to the crowd as she goes, Lais is definitely enjoying her own loud cheer reaction, especially as she climbs into the ring and hears a "wow!" From several guys in the crowd, well she takes it they are saying wow by how stunned they look, she can't translate Italian.
Lais unlike her friend, doesn't do a full lap, instead she stands with her hands on her hips and takes in all the cheers, before she heads to her own corner.

Then they are brought to the ring centre, no hugs from either, in fact both stand staring hard at the other, no hint of a smile on either fighters face.
Asked to touch gloves, this looks to be the only time they will show some level of friendship as they respectfully touch them and wish each other good luck.
As they get back to their corners, that serious look returns as the referee looks over both fighters, happy he can start, he waves for the bell to be rung and 10 rounds of welterweight action begins.

Round 1:
Here they go, Lais starting off strong with her jab probing the defences of Josephine, who doesn't rush in; instead is stepping around Lais, looking for an opening.
The crowd not looking pleased at this early going as it isn't the full blooded display they were hoping for, Josephine maybe sensing this or getting annoyed being stuck behind her guard so early tries to up the tempo.
Stepping forwards with a right and left cross to the body of Lais, she misses as the Brazilian shows great flexibility and footwork to get out the way and snaps a double jab to the lips of the Dane.
Lais adds a right hook up top to upset Josephine even more and leans out the way of a straight, before landing a left cross.
The crowd starting to come to life as the action starts to heat up, Josephine finally managing to catch Lais to the body with a good clean right.
But Lais catches her with a left cross and a straight that pushes her onto the back foot, it's the taller fighter who is dictating the pace of the fight.
Josephine is back behind her guard, having to lean out the way of a right hook as she is on the defensive, something she doesn't like, but she can only land glancing blows as Lais obliviously wants this fight to showcase her own talents, not give her friend another win on her CV.
Seconds to go in the round, Josephine spots a chance to strike as she parries a right cross, stepping in to the inside, she lands a four punch combo up the center of Lais's gloves to rock her head back.
The bell rings to end the round though before Josephine can push on, but she at least knows she can catch Lais if she can find the gaps.
Lais though looks happy with herself, a strong start to the round, only one real moment of danger for her, as her and her coach discuss the game plan and the little mistakes she made.

Round 2:
Lais using her reach advantage to full effect again, up on her toes as she moves around Josephine, for a very tall fighter, she can move with grace as she digs her punches into the guard of her friend.
Josephine is moving her head as best she can, trying to stalk Lais into making a mistake, but she is getting clipped around her cheeks by the taller fighter, her face shows the frustration she's feeling as she just can't get to the inside.
A right hook catches Josephine coming in, Lais piling the pressure on as she snaps a double jab to the nose of her opponent and lands a right cross as Josephine is being knocked onto the ropes.
The crowd edging closer in their seats as Lais goes to work with looping punches getting around the guard of Josephine, Georgie Thompson on the commentary desk is surprised to see this.
But Josephine is hard to keep stuck, she fires a flurry of punches up through the gap left behind by the maybe overconfident Lais, the Brazilian model is driven back as she gets smacked to her cheeks.
Wisely Lais shoves Josephine away and as the smaller fighter tries to get inside again, Lais lands a stiff straight to the head of Josephine to stop her charging in again.
She adds a right to the body of Josephine to try and back her up, Josephine though plants her feet and Lais is forced into a firefight with seconds to go in the round.
The round ends with both girls stopping with their hands up and a slight grin on both fighters faces as they see enjoying hammering each other.
Both girls faces are starting to show a pink hue where they've been hit, Josephine's worst as she took more punishment, though neither looks to be done by any stretch.

Round 3:
Out come the girls with a little more urgency, the round not much different to the first two as Lais sticks to jabbing away at Josephine and keeps moving.
Josephine looking more aggressive though as she stalks Lais with her own jab, both catch each other with single punches as they circle on their toes.
A miss by Lais over the ducking Josephine's head allows the Danish fighter another chance to get to the inside, where she lands three punches.
Just before she takes a glancing uppercut, luckily she moved her head most of the way out the way or the surprise would have come.
Lais catches Josephine with another straight to her nose and a left hook again puts the slightly younger fighter on the back foot.
The bigger fighter surprising some by becoming aggressive this early in the fight, stepping towards Josephine to crack her across her cheeks with a right and left.
Josephine ducks under a follow up right hook and just misses with her own over right punch as Lais just about gets her head out the way.
Lais manages to land three straight like punches to the face of Josephine to knock her back again, Josephine looking upset as she is banged back towards the ropes again.
When Josephine tries to move off the ropes, Lais shows good footwork to move with her and keep her stuck fighting off the back foot.
Lais tries to land two uppercuts, maybe seeing an opportunity that wasn't there as Josephine blocks the first one and moves her hesd out the way of the follow up.
Digging her left into the abs of Lais, she earns a gasp from the bigger girl and manages to land a right hook up top just before the bell rings to end the round.
Lais looking cool and collected as she heads back to her corner, sitting on her stool with her coach praising her, but warning her to be careful, Josephine isn't someone you get overly relaxed against.
In the other corner, Josephine punches the top turnbuckle, Lauren having to calm her down as her face is starting to puff up, but not too bad, a few red marks on her face is as bad as it looks.

Round 4:
There's a slight change to the tempo, Lais starts off the same as before, but Josephine knows too well what she's going to do, Lais becoming too one dimensional with her opening gambit as Josephine parries her jab and steps forwards to close the gap between them.
Digging two shots to the body of Lais, Josephine for the first time this fight starts to back up the bigger girl, who gamely tries to fight back, but she can't get the full power of her punches in this tight.
Lais though nudges Josephine back to open up the space between them, before landing a left cross to the cheek of her opponent with a nice smack to start to work her back.
Her momentum is short short lived though as Josephine ducks under a right hook and lands two shots to the flanks of her body, then lands an overhand left this time.
Lais covering up as Josephine rips several punches to her abs to force some air from her body, before she snaps a jab to the top of Skriver's head to push her back a step.
Both fighters starting to stand and trade, Lais looks to be getting the better of it with her shots looking to be landing cleaner.
But she gets caught with a right hook to her chin after Josephine parries a right, Lais head snapping to the side and she's driven to the ropes with a flurry of punches.
Lais fighting back though on the ropes, both girls look to be given it there all as they slug it out, the crowd roaring them on as Josephine lands a big right up top and Lais grabs onto her to clinch up.
The referee separates the fighters but the round ends before either can do anything meaningful, just land a few single punches.
There's a real look of anger between the girls at the end of the round, their tempers starting to get the better of them as they stare hard at each other, the referee has to order them back to their corners before they'll go.
Both fighters cheeks looking puffy as they get cleaned up by their coaches, the crowd wanting more rounds like this one as they cheer the girls.

Round 5:
Josephine again is quickest off the mark, making Lais fight off the back foot with body shots digging into her abs and hooks to her sides.
Lais fights back by nudging Josephine back with her left, then landing two right crosses to knock her back, the momentum has swung again as the Brazilian drives forwards.
A right hook though misses for Lais and Josephine lands a right hook of her own as she straightens back up, Lais stumbles towards the ropes and a follow up right puts her down to her backside.
The referee begins to count as Josephine stares hard down at her friend, Lais pushing herself up at 6 and beating the count at 8 as she nods to the referee.
Josephine is straight on the attack, but Lais isn't as badly hurt as she thought as Riberio lands a straight and two cross punches to knock her back.
Suddenly Josephine is being backed up as Lais grunts with effort as she starts digging away at the body of her opponent.
Josephine tries to land a right that Lais leans out the way of and lands a left hook that puts Josephine down to her side.
The crowd is going wild as both girls have been down this round, Lais getting to a neutral corner as she stares at Josephine, who wipes some blood from her bottom lip and shoves herself up to her backside at 4, before pushing herself to beat the count at 8.
Back at each other go both girls as the seconds tick away, the bell rings with both girls just about holding back, but they go nose to nose, both have definitely lost their tempers as they look like they want to be allowed to continue, the crowd chanting their names.
The referee pries both girls apart and waves them back to their corners, both heading back to get cleaned up, both know the next knockdown might be the one that wins them this fight.

Round 6:
Out come the fighters, both coming to fight hard as they plant their feet, Lais landing several good straight punches to the head of Josephine.
The Brazilian pushing her opponent back towards the ropes, Josephine covering up as it looks like she's in danger.
But she slips under a left cross and comes back up with a right hook that cracks Lais to her cheek, Lais's head turning to the side as Josephine starts to drive forwards.
A left and right cross smacks Lais's head and knocks sweat up into the air to show you the force, down goes Lais to her back!
Staring up at the sky, Lais blinking as she tries to clear her head, Josephine hoping she stays down but looks ready to get at her if she gets the chance.
Lais shoving herself up to just beat the count at 9, she shakes her head and bangs her gloves together to try to show she can continue.
The referee allows the fight to continue with Lais jabbing and moving back away to try and give herself a chance to recover.
But Josephine ducks under a jab and steps forwards to land a left hook to rock Lais onto the ropes, where the Brazilian covers up.
Lais not fighting back as she is getting beaten on the ropes and looks to be hurting, the referee waving the fight off with Josephine holding her hands up to let the referee in to check Lais.

Winner: Josephine Skriver TKO Round 6

After:
Josephine is quick to check over her friend, the girls sharing a moment as Josephine puts her hands on both shoulders of Lais and asks if she's OK.
Lais nodding as she looks frustrated that she couldn't beat Josephine, but she smiles as she is happy that she has a good friend still.
The girls hug as the crowd cheer them for the fight they just produced, Lais can be heard saying to Josephine "you know I had you right"
Josephine laughing as she replies "anytime you want to get your ass beat, you know my phone number" both smiling as their coaches come to take their gloves off and clean them up.

Both fighters are brought to the ring centre so the final result can be announced, Josephine getting her hand raised as Lais applauds her.
Josephine asks for Lauren to take a photo of her and Lais, Lauren nodding as she gets her phone out as the girls pose side by side with their fists up in their fighting poses.
Georgie Thompson nearly being sick at the announce desk with all this lovey dovey crap, she turns away from the scene in the ring.
Both girls inside the ring seem happy as they leave the ring together, planning on hitting the nightclubs in the city.
