"I have to compliment Kate for taking care of Ireland Baldwin," said Robyn Lawley. "Ireland was sort of on my long list of potential opponents, but she seems to have gone into hiding lately. I might still end up taking her on in whatever gimmick event the management comes up with, so expect to see me out-Norwegian-elbow-wrestle her at some point. But for now it feels like a better idea to focus on Kate."

"As a Sports Illustrated veteran, I take Robyn seriously," commented Kate Bock at an earlier date. "I know what you have to go through to survive the swimsuit issue, after all. I've seen models go home crying the first day, and not come back! Anyone who makes it to the end of that shoot has to be tough. Still, some of those models who went home early did it to get away from me, so Robyn's credentials aren't enough to make me nervous."

Lawley and Bock, in blue and yellow athletic wear respectively, greet each other pre-fight before separating and completing their final preparations.

Round 1:

Lawley opened the fight by keeping her distance and jabbing, but threw in a few spurts of offense to prevent Bock's own moves. Bock can't quite keep up, and finds herself alternating between being slowly pecked to death, and scrambling to recover after Lawley stalled her offense with a sudden attack. Despite her rocky start, Bock holds up well under pressure. Lawley doesn't care for this, and launches a final attack near the round's finish, overwhelming her well enough to solidly bash her nose with a straight right and land several indirect blows before the bell.

Round 2:

Bock managed to land her own right handed counter punch early on in the round, follow it up with a hook to the body, and use the momentum to start her own offensive push. Lawley digs in, but can't slow Bock down very much. Eventually Bock is able to break through and land her choice of punches to her taller opponent's body. Lawley is able to fight her off, but not before the blonde model slugs her around the belly button twice. The taller brunette fights on bravely, but Bock's punches have taken enough out of her to slow her down, allowing the shorter blonde to hit and run without many consequences.

Round 3:

Lawley responds more quickly after the round break, and manages to regularly punish Bock when she goes on the attack. Bock charges, lands her shot from the edge of her reach, but before she can sneak off, Robyn's left fist smacks the blonde under the eye. Halfway through the round, Bock manages to break through again and land a combination to Lawley's face, and even the successful portions from Lawley's perspective are a painful, tiring experience.

Round 4:

Bock continued her period of control into the fourth round, skirmishing with Lawley and coming out ahead consistently. Lawley showed signs of wear and tear, but remains threatening enough to keep Bock careful, and that does slow her down. Near the halfway mark, things start to fall apart for Lawley as her swing skids past Bock's ear while the blonde bops her on the nose sharply. In the following exchanges, Bock took control again, chasing Lawley back and forcing her to duck and retreat.

Round 5:

Despite all of the abuse she had absorbed, Lawley held together in the fifth round well enough to strike back effectively, hammering Bock with a straight right to the jaw. Bock, taken by surprise, perhaps expecting Lawley to be in worse shape, put up little defense as Lawley's follow up combo rattled her head. The blonde slipped away shortly after, but Lawley kept the pressure on at range, picking her shots carefully but making them count. Bock parried some, then midway through her attempt at a comeback absorbed a glancing blow to the jaw and a direct hit to the mouth on the way out.

Round 6:

In the start of the sixth round, Bock moved in to regain control, a plan that fell apart when Lawley cut her off. As Bock moved in, the tall brunette hammered her with a left hook to the side of the head. Lawley managed to stay ahead of Bock as the blonde attempted to fight her off, sticking close and keeping the pace up to prevent Bock from recovering. Eventually Bock escaped, taking a fist to the solar plexus in the process, but Lawley was not discouraged, landing a straight right to Bock's nose at range with enough force to make the blonde model shudder. By the end of the round, Bock was wavering, but still battling hard enough to keep Lawley busy.

Round 7:

Lawley kept up her momentum in the seventh round, keeping Bock corralled with straight punches. Looking battle damaged, Bock was unable to make the plays necessary to overcome her reach disadvantage. The blonde model found herself trapped, able to defend herself, but any slip up she made resulted in a solid blow to the face as Lawley attacked without hesitation. However, after taking a pounding throughout the round, Bock was fighting on, if weakened. Lawley made her move near the round's end, rushing Bock down and landing a hook to her head as the blonde's swing went wide. Lawley's follow up blows jerked the blonde's head around violently, and after an instant of swaying back and forth, Bock tipped over to land face down. The blonde model regained her senses and crawled a short distance during the count, but couldn't beat it, giving Lawley the KO7 win.

Soon enough Bock was on her feet, meeting Lawley again after the official announcement. The two models lean in and privately exchange words, Lawley affectionately holding Bock by the elbow, before separating agreeably and making their exits. Robyn Lawley dismissed questions on her next career moves, but seemed optimistic for her opponent despite her recent defeat. "Does this win mean I plan to shove Kate into a specific model's dressing room and hold the door shut until the noise dies down? Maybe. But that's just your standard model stuff. She'll do fine!"
