BEFORE:

No hype needed for this one. Two of the top bantams in the FCBA squaring off as former champions Troian Bellisario and Olivia Munn step into the ring, and neither is lacking confidence. Troian is wearing a grey one piece swimsuit with black trim with black boots and gloves with grey laces. Olivia weating a black one piece with gold trim. Gold gloves and boots with black laces. Troian;s hair is in double pigtails. Olivia in a battle braid down her back,

"Sure, Olivia's top shelf," says Troi with a nod, "But, there's not a single bantam in the FCBA who's as good as Troian Bellisario. I've proven that before, and I'll prove it again tonight."

"Troi sure has a high opinion of herself," says Livvy with a smirk. "We'll just see if we can't make a little height adjustment once I get her in the ring."

ROUND ONE:

Troi wants to make with the jab early. She's well aware that The Munnster likes to get physical early and often, and, while Bellisario can bring the pain, she's decided not to play Livvy's game. But. Munn wants to play. Olivia works her way past the jab, gets in tight, bangs away at the body. Troi ties up, creates breaks, but, the older woman keeps the pressure on, and, about half way through...BOOM! It's a short right hook and Troi's HURT! Bellisario wobbles, nearly goes down, and Munn's all in, letting the hands go, battering Troi back into the ropes and giving her a beating. Bellisario showing championship pedigree by taking the shell and staying afloat. She keeps the hands up, rolls with, defends as intelligently as possible right to the bell. But, when it rings, Munn's grabbed the first wide and takes the early 10-9 lead.

ROUND TWO:

Livvy's smelling blood in the water. She's after a wobbly Troi early, sitting down on her punches, looking to finish this thing right now. Bellisario forced to give ground, stay on the defensive, counter in spots. BOOM! It's a KEYHOLE right hand from Bellisario and now MUNN IS HURT! Livvy stumbles backward, somehow stays on her feet and manages to get the guard up just as Troi switches gears and begins pounding away. It's clinical stuff from Troian, who's as good a boxer as you're likely to find in this division. She's setting up hard, accurate right hands with solid jabs, backing Munn up, forcing her to the ropes, and then giving back the beating she took in the last round. And, like Troi in the first, Livvy shows the championship pedigree in the second, playing solid defense, taking the leather, hanging on to the bell. It's Bellisario wide this time, and we're even at 19 after two.

ROUND THREE:

Third starts the opposite way the second did. Now it's Troi looking to consolidate. Bellisario coming forward, sitting down on hard shot, touching up a wobbly Munn with both hands. Livvy determined to hold ground, fires back body. Older woman getting the worst of it, but she's determined to exchange...and that determination pays off. A short right hook to the belly hurts Troi. Bellisario bunches up and MUNN BLASTS HER WITH A RIGHT UPPIE! Bellisario steppin' in fence post holes! What in the world is going ON in there? And, ON COMES LIVVY! Munn letting Troian have it with everything but the kitchen sink. Bellisario in desperate trouble as Olivia lands clean, hard shot to both the head and body. The PLP fighter looks ready to go. But. She doesn't. Somehow, Troi holds on. She's in bad shape by the bell, but she's still standing. For her part, Livvy's grabbed and taken back the lead 29-28.

ROUND FOUR:

Grim stuff for Troian. Munn running rampant. She's squaring up a rubber-legged Troi, battering her around the ring. Troi all defense now. High guard, giving ground, working to stay off the ropes, but she doesn't have the legs to do it. Younger woman trapped on the cables about a minute in, and then things get even grimmer. Munn goes body in a big way, battering the ribs and midsection, trying to bring down the guard. Troi takes the punishment, keeps the guard high. She's rolling with punches, countering here and there, doing just enough to keep the referee at bay. For her part, Livvy looking to finish her rival to the body now. If Bellisario's selling, Munn's buying in bulk. By the bell, Troi's pinking up nicely, but, somehow, she's still standing. It's Olivia, however, who's pitched herself a shutout fourth and expanded her lead to 39-37.

ROUND FIVE:

Munn looking a little arm-weary to start the fifth. No surprise. She's thrown a ton of leather over the last two rounds. Troi, glad for the respite, stays on D. She's working in counter, keeping the gloves up, more than happy to slow the pace. Result is the first tactical round of the fight. Instead of throwing power punches, the ladies are boxing and moving, though Bellisario's limited in the latter realm, because the legs are still balky. Still, Troi is staying in the round because of Munn's low work rate. And, in the second half of the round, Troi gets it going some. She's getting the jab on and putting punches together. She's not hurting Munn, but she's scoring points, slowly building a bit of a lead. By the final 30 seconds, the younger woman's clearly getting the better of things. Again, Olivia's not hurt, but she's getting out worked. At the bell, it's the first close round of the fight to Troi, who's narrowed Munn's lead to 48-47 at the half.

ROUND SIX:

Bellisario getting rolling. She's got the legs back now and she's using them. Munn's mostly over the arm-weariness, but now she has another problem, and that's Troi's accurate left. The younger woman's getting it on target, and all else is flowing from that. She's stopping Livvy with it, holding her, setting her up for follow on right hands. Again, the older brunette isn't getting hurt, but she is getting scored on. A lot. By the middle of the round, Olivia's on the defensive and Troian is boxing lead and boxing very, very well. This is the girl who won the title earlier this year and defended it successfully three times against the best in the division, and you can clearly see the talent that allowed her to do it. She's got everything working for the first time all night, and it's an awesome sight, unless you're in Munn's corner, of course. At the bell, it's not close. Troi's won the sixth big and evened the fight at 57.

ROUND SEVEN:

It's a more aggressive Munn to start the seventh. Now she's back to looking to pressure and bang. And, again, despite her best efforts, Troi can't keep Livvy at range. Munn's too slick, too aggressive. She's working past Troian's jab, matching footwork, closing the gap, banging body. Bellisario, though, isn't going to make the same mistake she made in the first. This time, she's going to bang back, make Munn pay for the pressure she's putting on. Result is a series of nasty firefights in which both fighters land some solid shot. Livvy's getting the better of things, but only just. Then, with about 45 seconds remaining in the round...BOOM! A right hand from Troi and MUNN IS HURT! Oliva wobbles and is DROPPED by a follow on left hook. Munn on her left side as Bellisario moves quickly to a neutral corner. Older woman manages to get to hands and knees, but, that's all the farther she can get before the count passes her by. It's OVER! And your winner by KO7 is Troian Bellisario!

AFTER:

Troi looking very much like a girl who's been in a heck of a fight. Body pinked, face scuffed. But, there's a smile, too. "This is a great win," she says, still breathless. "Not just because she's a top opponent, but because of this venue. I wanted to get a win here, and, it wasn't easy, but I got it done."
