BEFORE:

"I know all about Antje," says Courtney with a smile. "I know she's big and athletic and all that. And I also know that I can beat her."

"From what I've seen of Courtney," says Antje with a smile of her own. "She's going places in the FCBA. But. The only place she's going tonight is DOWN."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Me, Myself & I' by G-Eazy you hear..."

McCarthy: "Who now?"

Cassie: "G-Eazy..."

McCarthy: "George and Weezy? That can't be right! They're both dead. How old IS this song..."

Tess: "A lot younger than YOU..."

McCarthy: "YOU...I...YOU...I...YOU..."

Cassie: "Truck, hit the reset button on Mac's brain. It's caught in a loop again..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell (sighing): "The artist is G-Eazy, and the video starred the young lady coming to the ring right now, the winner of this year's New Blood Lightweight Tournament, from Midland, Texas, Courtney Tailor. Tailor into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a magenta number and a body that has the crowd hot and bothered. And, that's 'Heads Will Roll' by Yeah Yeah Yeah's you hear behind us, and that can only mean that 'The Scandinavian Stunner', Antje Utgaard is on her way to the ring!"

Tess: "Utgaard one of the biggest, strongest women in the FCBA. She's a physical challenge for anyone."

O'Dell: "Antje into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve and the crowd is loving that red, white, and blue bikini as much as they loved Tailor's..."

Cassie: "Pretty good disrobe, no question about it..."

McCarthy: "Of course, if I went up there, all eyes would be on ME."

O'Dell (sighing): "Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Antje. Mac?"

McCarthy: "I like this Tailor kid's style. And, Utgaard's an overrated Dancing Hooker. Courtney."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "First round underway and Tailor coming right after Utgaard, stepping to and backing up the bigger woman with a hard flurry. Antje covering up as Tailor's getting off in a big way early in this fight. Utgaard thrown to the defensive here, and, Mac, I'm thinking these tactics you're seeing from the Texan are a surprise to the Front Street corner..."

McCarthy: "Well, ANYthing's a surprise to THOSE clueless wonders, but even someone who knew what they were doing might not have expected THIS..."

O'Dell: "Now, if you've seen video on Tailor, you know this is the game she's played before, and successfully, but, against LIGHTweights, not a welter who's as big and strong as anyone in the FCBA. But, she's got Antje backfooted right now, and the blonde Texan aims to keep her there."

Cassie: "Dangerous game, Jenny. She can not do this all night. Will not end well."

O'Dell: "Working for the moment, though. Antje taking lots of fire. Her offense is being pretty well suppressed. She's not hurt, but she's doing a lot of covering up, a lot of waiting her turn to fire back, and not much punching. Ten seconds to go in the first. One more solid flurry from Tailor and there's the bell. Courtney wide in the first."

Tess: "And, Tailor up 10-9, but, as Cassie said, this can't be the whole game plan."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Tailor doing some moving now. She's got the left jab working and she wants some range here, no longer stepping to Utgaard, instead using the feet and angling against the taller, heavier woman. Again, Tailor doing pretty well for herself, as she's able to get the jab on and put punches together."

Cassie: "Utgaard able to get off the defensive now, though. She's getting her own punches on."

O'Dell: "Indeed, she is. Good, two-way action at the moment. And, you're seeing some of that athleticism Utgaard is known for, as the big welter is moving every bit as well as her lightweight opponent. She's showing excellent feet here, able to get to spots just like Tailor's doing."

Tess: "Not often you see this much movement in a fight at welter, but, these two girls can definitely work the legs."

O'Dell: "And they continue to do so as we head down the stretch in the second. Tailor very accurate with that left jab, able to get it on and use it to set up right hands. Utgaard using her own heavy left lead to get similar work done. Ten seconds to go. GOOD exchange right there, and that's the bell. Close second. Tailor again."

McCarthy: "20-18 Courtney after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Tailor wants to continue the war of movement as we start the third. A little more aggression from Antje now. Utgaard the one coming forward. She's looking to square up the smaller woman and walk her down. Antje using that heavy left hand to back up Tailor, then following on with those big, powerful rights..."

McCarthy: "This is what I'd have expected from Utgaard early, using the size and power to her advantage."

O'Dell: "She's definitely doing it now. Front Street beauty has the range with that left, and that is not good news for Tailor, who's unable to get off square and unable to hold canvas. Instead, Antje now taking control, backing Tailor up despite the Texan's best efforts to hold her ground."

Cassie: "Courtney needs to get the geometry more in her favor here. Right now, Antje's using the reach and barreling her up."

O'Dell: "Indeed, she is. Twenty seconds to go in the third, and Utgaard's been in control from the outset. Tailor game, firing back when she can, but Antje's weight of shot telling the tale here. GOOD right hand from Utgaard backs the Texan up another step. Five seconds to go, and there's the bell. Utgaard. Wide."

Tess: "But, Tailor still leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Into the fourth now and Utgaard has the terms she wants. She's walking forward behind the heavy left jab, forcing Tailor backward, taking all the canvas she wants. Courtney again gamely trying to hold ground here, but she can't do it. Antje simply too big and too strong for her on these terms."

Cassie: "Tailor has got to find a way to foul the gun sights. She's just taking too much heavy fire right now."

O'Dell: "And, Antje just keeps firing the big guns. That heavy left hand finding the mark again and again, snapping back the Texan's head, allowing Utgaard to follow with hard rights that keep Tailor going in reverse. Courtney firing back in spots, desperately fighting for canvas, but can't hold it and DOWN SHE GOES!"

Tess: "And that will do it! You are NOT getting up from that punch at this weight!"

O'Dell: "A BLISTERING right hand from Antje and all the power cut to Tailor's legs! Courtney ragdolled to the canvas on her right side and Antje quickly top a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. And, Tess looking to have called it. No movement at all at seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! And it's OVER! One punch and it's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is 'The Scandinavian Stunner', Antje Utgaard!"

McCarthy: "Lucky shot."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Antje Utgaard, and, Antje, looked like you were surprised early..."

Antje (nodding): "Yeah. She stole that first on me. I did not expect her to come at me like that. We were talking in the corner between rounds, and, Neve said, if she even STARTS forward again, set your feet and blow her out of there. Well, she was too smart for that."

Tess: "But, you found a way to get her out anyway..."

Antje: "Like I said, this girl is going to be a factor at lightweight. She and I are going to be high up on a lot of cards around here for a lot of years. But, light is where she belongs. Welter? That's my sandbox."
