(Latin Union vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The first of two title fights on this months PPV sees Helen Flanagan look to claim the BBU bantamweight title from the champion Lea Seydoux in the BBU arena in Cardiff.
Helen is 28 years old, stands 5'3 and holds a record of 15 wins, 14 by knockout and 17 defeats, this is her first shot at the title.
Lea is 32 years old, stands 5'6 and holds a record of 20 wins, 19 knockouts and 10 defeats, she is the current BBU bantamweight champion and this is her 3rd defence.

The girls met at the press conference for the PPV, Lea staring down hard at Helen; who doesn't show any fear for her opponent as she glares in reply.
Heading to their tables, the challenger speaks first with Helen saying "I've been dying for a chance to claim a title for too long, this is my moment and no f***ers like Lea are going to stop me!" Which gets Lea scowling already.
Helen continues "I've been working hard in the gym with several of my costars from Corrie, I have done yoga and other things to be in the best shape of my life"
Which gets a smirk off Lea; who replies "I do all sorts of training outside of the Latin Union gym too, yet I'm flawless and as I look you over, well I am sure I can see flab sticking out your blouse" laughing as she sees the face of Helen turn red with embarrassment.
With Lea adding "this title is mine for a reason, I've proven I am the best here and I will continue to do that by beating Helen all over Cardiff and maybe my next fight will be back in France" showing that Lea is far from lacking confidence.
The girls stare hard across the stage; Lea lifting the belt up and can be seen mouth "this is mine bytch" before Helen stands up and says "we'll see bytch" then heads off the stage with Lea just grinning behind her.

Fight night, out comes Helen first with Lucy Fallon and Catherine Tyldesley acting as her coaches tonight, knowing how big a night it is for their friend and wanting to give her all their support, with the girls shouting "your future champ is here!"
Helen is wearing a red and white striped sports bra, with matching trunks and red gloves and shoes, her hair is in a ponytail.
Climbing into the ring, she puts her right fist up to the crowd, before showing her hand speed with her warm up drill.
Now out comes the champion; Lea has Asia Argento with her and the BBU French bantamweight champion Elodie Frege, Asks holding the big gold belt up as Lea bounces on her toes with her eyes locked onto the ring and her opponent.
As she heads to the ring, she is wearing a navy blue sports bra, French flag design trunks, blue gloves and shoes, with her own hair braided.
Climbing into the ring; she stares across the ring at Helen, Lea tapping the belt for good luck before it's handed to the referee.
The fighters head to the ring centre; trading insults as they stare each other down, the referee holding the belt up for the crowd is also telling the fighters to keep this clean.
Asked to touch gloves, they swipe them together before jogging to their corners, once they are both ready; the bell is rung to start 10 rounds of BBU bantamweight title action.

Round 1:
"Ding" out come the fighters, the girls trading jabs to test each other out, circling and aiming towards the others head, with Lea landing the cleaner punches due to her extra height.
Helen manages to step inside to land to the body of the champion, but misses with a right up top; leaving herself open to a counter left and right straight onto the top of her head.
The challenger forced back; with Lea happy to box on the outside with jabs and straights keeping Helen behind her guard on the defensive.
Each time Helen tries to come out her shell; Lea catches her to the top of the head and uses her footwork to keep a safe distance away.
Lea looking good as she manages to smack Helen onto her nose with a double jab and a right cross to back up her opponent towards the ropes.
But as she looks to build on it; she misses with a left cross and Helen slips to the inside to land a right hook under the ribs of Seydoux, adding a left cross up top to start pressing her back.
With Lea shoving Helen back to open up space, Helen comes back at Lea to force a slugfest late in the round, the girls going toe to toe as they slam across each others face.
The bell rings with the girls giving each other a glare, before heading to their corners to get washed down, Lea knowing that she started off well.
Though as she sits and talks to Asia; she looks a little surprised by how aggressive Helen is being, till Asia points out "use it against her" making her smile again.
Round 2:
Out come the fighters with Lea starting off strongly with her jab aiming at the head of Helen, whose stuck on the outside as the champion works hard.
A missed straight though by Lea leaves her open to an overhand right by Helen, crashing onto the top of the champs head to force her back.
Helen staying in tight; working Lea back to the ropes with body pounding punches, Lea gasping out and forced to cover up as she is stuck on the ropes.
Lea pushes Helen back to create some space, but she misses with a right hook as Helen ducks under and comes back with an uppercut that doesn't land flush luckily for Seydoux.
But it allows Helen to get into the face of the champion, who tries to fight back, being forced onto the back foot though has Lea struggling to land anything with real force.
A right cross cracks Lea across her cheek to turn her head and put her back behind her guard as the challenger powers on.
Late in the round; Helen has Lea pinned on the ropes, banging away at the French fighters body to make her groan out.
The bell rings with Helen raising her fists in the air as she jogs back to her corner, feeling excited to be in the fight properly now after a very dominant round.
While Lea puts her head on the top turnbuckle in her corner, wanting to scream out as she is pissed at what has been a bad round for her.
The champs corner team telling her to keep focused on the task at hand, she now knows she has a top contender in front of her and has to remind people why she is a champion.
Round 3:
Out comes Lea with more urgency to her attack; snapping her punches towards the face of Helen, keeping her back off of her as she knows what will happen if she doesn't.
The champ snaps Helen's head back with a double jab; but she misses with a right cross and if not for her own footwork, she'd have been caught by a right hook from the smaller fighter.
Helen is again kept back behind her guard as Lea works around her, bouncing on her toes and working her punches up top.
But the champ misses a straight that Helen dips under, with the challenger stepping in with punches to either side of the champs body.
Before landing a right hook up top to drive Seydoux back onto her heels, with the girls fighting in tight, Flanagan though is driving her opponent back with her head under the chin of the champion.
Lea uses her left to open up space and lands a right cross to push Helen back, once she has the space to work in again, she looks comfortable once more landing at range.
Late in the round though; Helen parries a jab aimed at her head and snaps a straight onto the lips of Lea, followed by a left cross just as the bell rings to end the round.
Helen showing she isn't going to go away easily, stares right into the eyes of Lea with no looks of fear, the challenger jogs back to her corner with Catherine and Lucy smiling at her.
Though Asia and Elodie don't look worried, pointing out to Lea "you won that round; just keep at her and she'll kneel soon enough"
Round 4:
Again Lea starts off strong with her punches starting to find their way through the guard of Helen, scoring punches to the nose of the challenger to keep her on the defensive.
She steps forwards to land two cross punches to force Helen back towards the ropes, but as she goes for an uppercut, she misses and leaves herself open for a counter.
Helen landing a right across the chin of Lea to push the champ back on the back foot, she quickly steps inside to keep working the body of the French star to force her towards a corner.
The champ needing to push Helen back, Flanagan though is back at her; leading to a toe to toe exchange between the fighters, each trying to gain control of the fight.
An uppercut sneaks it's way through onto Lea's chin to knock her head back, opening her up to more pounding punches to the face.
Leading to her lips being busted open by a right, making Lea cry out in pain and clinching up with Helen to slow down the assault, the referee needed to break the two apart as they snarl at each other.
Lea is able to catch Helen as she comes back on the attack, knocking her head back with straight punches and as Flanagan tries to dip down, Lea hits her across the top of her head.
Late in the round; it's Lea looking the stronger as she is landing more cleanly with her punches, as the bell rings; she wipes the blood from her lips and looks like she wants to slap Helen for bloodying her.
Helen almost bouncing back to her corner; grinning as she gets her marked up face washed down, it's that look of joy that is making Lea even more pissed at the situation.
Round 5:
Lea pushes herself out her corner; surprising Helen somewhat by getting into her face, the fighters trading at midrange.
The champion throwing more bombs now to back Helen up, Helen covering up as she takes two straight punches to her nose, with a right catching her on her eye to make her cry out.
With Helen opening up more and getting caught to her face, with a cut opening up under her left ear, making her look in trouble really for the first time in the fight.
Lea showing her championship pedigree to force Helen back towards a corner, her punches catching Helen on that cut to make her cry out now, with the English fighter needing to clinch up.
The referee breaks the fighters apart, with Helen moving into space and needing to cover up tight as Lea herds her around the ring with long range punches.
Seydoux looking for a way to crack open the shell of Flanagan as she sends a few stinging lefts to the body of the younger fighter, stepping out the way of an attempted counter right and lands a straight to that cut eye to make Helen howl out in pain.
With Helen driven onto the ropes; Lea hammering away at the guard of her opponent to try to finish this now it seems as seconds tick away in the round.
The bell rings to end the round; Lea shouting to Helen "you are not in my class bytch!" Before turning back to her corner with her gloves stained with Helen's blood from that cut.
Helen's team working to fix that cut up; Catherine telling her "suck it up OK! This is your chance, grab it with both hands because that bytch across there will not hand you the belt!"
While Lea looks more comfortable now, nodding to Asia as if to say "I've got her now!" As her lips are cleaned up and she looks ready to jump out her corner to tackle Helen.
Round 6:
Out they come with Lea straight on the attack with her punches forcing Helen to move backwards behind her guard; the champion looking to finish this judging by the aggression she is showing.
Banging away at the guard of Helen; Lea has eyes only on crushing her challenger it seems, changing up her punches to the body of her opponent to try and open her up.
But Lea doesn't anticipate it seems the right hook before it crashes onto her cheek and Helen is forcing her to trade in tight once more.
The girls both yelping as they get caught across their wounds, Lea trying to get Helen under wraps is finding herself being drawn into a brawl instead of using her skills.
An uppercut again rocks Lea; who takes two cross punches to her face to make her stumble backwards towards the ropes, with Lea trying to keep Helen back with a defensive jab.
Helen though slips past it and lands an overhand right that ROCKS THE CHAMPION ONTO THE ROPES!
Lea covering up as Helen bashes her to the body and swinging her punches around the guard of the champ to bash her to her head.
The bell rings leading to Helen looking at the referee to see if he has ended the fight, frustrated when he says the round is over instead.
Screaming out as she heads to her corner; Catherine has to physically get her to sit down so they can work on her face, cleaning her up and telling her "keep your eye on the prize!"
While Lea has to be help sit on her stool by Elodie, the Latin Union corner needing to work hard as Lea's face is puffy and blood drips from the lips of the champ onto her bust.
Round 7:
Out comes Lea, though she looks in bad shape as Helen comes on the attack, Lea's punches not seeming to have the sting to them as the challenger powers through them to land a right hook that stuns the champ.
Lea misses with a haymaker like right, THAT LEAVES HER OPEN TO AN UPPERCUT THAT LANDS FLUSH AND LEA CRUMBLES TO A HEAP AT HER FEET!
The referee is quick to check on Lea and he stands up waving his arms to signal that Seydoux is knocked clean out and the title has changed hands!

Winner and new BBU bantamweight champion Helen Flanagan KO Round 7

After:
This has to go down as an upset to a degree, Helen has struggled to truly break out the pack it could be argued, tonight that argument looks to be smashed as she had ascended to the top of the mountain over a top champion!
Helen herself can't believe it as she falls to her knees and covers her face as she sobs tears of joy, with Catherine and Lucy rushing into the ring to be with her.
While the now former champion Lea is being seen to by the doctor, the Latin Union team cannot believe that Lea isn't the champ anymore.
Lea herself comes around but is badly dazed it seems as she tries to get up and slips by down to her backside, tears stream down her face as the weight of defeat is heavy on her right now.
Asia and Elodie stare at each other and decide to get Elodie out the ring, as Helen is up and jogging over to each corner of the ring to celebrate with her arms up in the air.
Soon Lea is being helped out the ring by her stablemates and Helen couldn't care if she never saw her again, just ignoring her as her gloves are being taken off and she knows what is coming.
Stepping to the ring centre as the crowd goes silent; with Helen standing next to the referee, the announcement of the result rings through the area and as Helen lifts up the title, the crowd erupts in a massive roar for her, making Helen cry once more.
Walking around the ring with the title in her hands, she is hurting, the cut under her left eye is stinging, but looking at the big gold belt makes all the hard work worth it.
Lucy and Catherine both give her massive hugs, this is truly a moment Helen will not forget and with a sea of challengers in front of her, 2018 might be Helen's year that she rises to the top of the pound for pound rankings then just the bantamweight division.
As she leaves the ring; all thoughts are on celebrating right now, with two of her best friends and she is sure her former stablemates will be sending her messages of congratulations.
Helen raises the belt high above her head one last time at the top of the ramp to one more loud cheer and she heads off to the back hugging the title.
