TERRY FARRELL VS CAT BELL

Before: TE quarterback controversy getting settled tonight. Terry the rangier girl, usually relying on distance and boxing, but with a penchant for the unexpected slugging that keeps opponents off balance. Bell the more experienced brunette, can't let Teri circle and pick her off, would be well served to make this a war where Bell's durability can become a factor. Bell in electric blue bikini, Teri in grey cotton high neck top, blue bikini bottoms, long braid.

R1,2 Tactical rounds, fought outside as both girls look to establish jabs, range and tempo. Ominously for Terry, Cat is able to dictate, actually outjab the taller girl, move Farrell around the ring, and touch her stomach with shooting right hands delivered straight from the shoulder. Neither girl hurt, but Bell doing more of what she wants to do - Terry reacting.

R3: Cat closing distance now, spanking tummy with that shooting right hand, then coming back with the double pump left hook to the waist that has Farrel gasping early. Midway through the round, Cat hooks the stomach, comes over with the right hand, but crosses Terry up, kissing the punch off the brunette's teeth instead of down low - FARRELL GOES DOWN! Teri up but wounded and Bell comes on like a freight train. No apparent concern for Farrel's safety as Cat comes in with whip action hooks to the stomach, turning chopping right hands on the teeth to ragdoll Farrel into stupor at the ropes. Teri with her hands limp out front of her face, just gets hammered, swaying dangerously, standing straight up and taking punches as Bell puts it to her. Bells saves Farrel, but she's busted up and dazed - Cat dishing out a murderous barrage to close the round.

R4: All Cat Bell as she ranges outside, stepping lightly to her left, scorching in and down with fastball right hands to the stomach, then palming up on Terry's shoulders to keep her erect. Cat landing long straight licks, can hit and hurt any part of Terry she wishes - methodical shutout this round as Farrel weaves uncertainly, fighting on her heels.

R5: Terry still hurt, gets lazy with the jab and Bell makes her pay, rocking back to fade Farrel's left, then leaning in to bash the right hand clean against the chin to beat Terry's right cross - DOWN GOES FARRELL! As clean and sweet a knockdown as you will ever see, Cat with beautiful extension on the punch - Teri's legs just giving out. Farrel grittily beating the count, but starting another round in the hole, fades to the ropes, lifts her mitts in a porous defence and stands up straight to take. Bell pounding away, looping wide lefts and rights around the guard, or pounding straight up the middle has Teri bending back into the ropes - Farrell flustered, not clinching, not evading anything, just getting cudgelled.

R6: Farrell a shellshocked mess, no longer has the wheels to affect plan A, comes out flat footed for plan B and a bitter struggle for dominance erupts mid ring. Lanky girls stand on wide pins, pulling hooks into one another, leaning into slinging right hands - something's got to give. Midway through the round, Farrell misses a timing hook, but comes across with a spearing right hand, beating Bell to the punch and BELL IS HURT! Cat stunned, leaning out over her feet and Terry squares up to lift lefts and rights up into the taut torso of her friend. Bell getting shotgunned, reaches dreamily to clinch, but Farrel's chugging assault on the belly and breasts does damage - Bell stumbling forward into punishment. Turn around round for Teri gets her on the board, sends Bell back to her corner wobbly butt for the first time.
 
r7: Meet and beat continues midring as girls disdain all advice, stand flat footed and try to time the other girl's sway for something big. Hard slinging blows lick back and forth, occasionally making cracking impact to swivel a head, or thunk wetly into a bulbous breast. Bell fighting big, left hand low at her side, just giving Farrel that lead shoulder to shoot at, then twisting into counter right hands and it finally pays off. Down the stretch, Cat catches Terry overextending on a tired right hand, Bell's scorching right clunks heavily behind the ear and Farrel reels back with fluttering eyes. Once again Bell piles on, palming Terry's shoulders, bullying her ropeside and landing a few more clubbing overhand rights as Farrel stands straight up with a blasted expression.

R8: Cat out to win this thing this round, left hand at her side, right at her cheek, moving her head and NAILING crisp right hand counters after every Terry miss. Farrell breakingdown badly as Bell chops her up, and at the end of the first minute, Bell with a clapping left positions Terry's chin for a perfect swooping right hand - Farrell, swept to her back as the crowd roars to its feet. Dimly getting to her feet, Terry pushes the referee away and wobbles forward to trade, as Bell meets her mid ring. Farrell shooting her left hand over Cat's right shoulder, blocks Bell's rights and pulls her into clubbing short right hands and BELL GETS HURT! Teri able to ride her left on Bell's shoulder, anchoring the brunette for the pounding rights has Cat swooning through the middle minute, but Bell shakes it off. Down the stretch, Cat fights through Farrel's holding by going downstairs, slugging at the exposed ribcage under Teri's high left and buckling Farrell's knees. Walking lefts and rights pummell Terry to the ropes and she is exhausted, arms straight out on Cat's shoulders, just giving it up to Bell who digs wearily at the long torso with metronome rights and lefts. Bell sounds to end the carnage and Terry is all used up, barely able to stand on her own as Bell asks the ref to stop the fight.

r9: Terry back out for the ninth, but she's shot, pushing her jab while holding the right elbow tight against her aching ribcage. Bell able to fight at leisure outside, slipping the jab, potshotting back with straight right hands to the forehead or underneath to the ribcage - buckling Farrel's long legs with almost anything. Teri in bad shape after 9, refuses to surrender - once again Cat implores the ref to stop the fight.
 
r10: Cat boxing smart, knows she has it won, content to potshot her devastated opponent as Farrel staggers forward. Bell still has good wheels, able to circle, change direction sharply, constantly wrong footing Teri and nailing her clean during transition. Teri gobbling up the single shots in good shape, manages to go the route - happy embrace at the bell from both combatants to a standing ovation from the delirious crowd. Wide UD10 Cat Bell.

After: Cat lifts Terry's wrapped fist after the fight, but side by side the damage differential is painfully obvious. Farrell battered unrecognizable, fielding huge shots from Bell in this fight and going on in the second half on pride alone. Cat outclassing her stablemate really put Teri in second place. Anxious moment in the ring as Charlize Theron at ringside taunts both brunettes - Charlize actually getting onto the apron and nearly precipitating a riot before cooler heads prevail.
