Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse
BEFORE:
It’s Queen Lavigne’s first fight since her epic win over fellow stablemate Emma Roberts, and boy is the Canadian singer rubbing her victory into everyone’s faces tonight as she answers reporters’ questions backstage.

“So tonight will be my first official fight as the Queen!” she declares proudly with a grin and giggle. “I’m pretty excited. I know I need to live up to my new title! I’ve heard a lot of talk about Cassie being tough: a former champion, ranked 15th, blah blah blah. Whatever. I should be ranked in the top 10 by now, so that doesn’t scare me. This ranking system is clearly a biased joke when you have weak creampuffs like Emma Watson ranked as high as 6th…” she spits, letting that fact sink in with an eye roll. “I guess Cassie’s probably not a total creampuff like most of these girls, but b*tch never fought anyone like me! I’m SO over fighting weak wimps. This Queen wants the Flyweight title belt to go with this crown! I'm starting my run for the title tonight, b*tches! Which means Cassie’s getting her ass kicked!” Avril ends off her tirade with a giggle.

Of course, anyone who’s been around the FCBA knows how these things go: another imaginary title bestowed upon a girl, deserving or not, it doesn’t matter, and suddenly, she feels she can take on the whole world single-handedly. Cassie Scerbo having exactly those thoughts going through her mind as she scoffs in reply:

“Queen Lavigne? Hon, that’s just embarrassing. Avril loves to talk about how strong and tough she is, but does she really think she’s strong because she can beat - sorry - BARELY beat overrated, fragile twigs like Emma Roberts? Please, b*tch. You’re f*cking soft, Av. I’ll show you what REAL power means,” Cassie glares at Avril as she flexes her left bicep. “Carmen, you shouldn’t have booked this fight. Your so-called ‘Queen’ will be drooling all over the canvas when I’m done with her. I promise.”

These menacing words just keep on getting sharper, don’t they? Avril positively steaming by the time she emerges from backstage when it’s time to fight. She’s strutting down the ramp in her usual Dollhouse attire – a black and pink sports bra and matching tights, black and pink gloves, hair up in a high ponytail. She’s exuding confidence, shooting smiles and waving for her fans or the cameras.

Cassie’s entrance a little more informal and loose as she strides out in a white sports bra, black ankle length tights and a high ponytail of her own. The blonde’s wearing snow-white gloves to complete her look. Scerbo strikes a simple pose up high on the ramparts, one hand on hip and flashing that gorgeous smile for her fans. Certainly going to be an interesting contrast of styles as we head into the fight prep proper. Girls make ready as the ref extols the virtues of being respectful and courteous, even when we all know how unlikely that’s going to happen. Bell rings and HERE we go with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
It appears that Ms Scerbo looks set to want to try and dominate, coming forward in fast movements, trying to stun Avril to the face early. The big blonde knows that’s she stronger and faster, or at least she thinks that she is. Reactionary movements from Avril’s corner only confirms that Lavigne’s been slightly spooked by the sudden barrage directed her way, has to contend with multiple jabs landing on her guard, then literally jumping out of the way when Scerbo goes big and early with hooks flung at her head. Second half of the first round sees Avril staying the f*ck away as a result - better to be safe than sorry seems to be her sudden, all-encompassing motto. First round of action and her detractors left wondering if Lavigne is simply more bark than bite, running scared whenever Cassie gets in too close for her comfort. But knowing Avril, she’s simply learning to play more strategically in the ring, biding her time and trying to figure out first whether Cassie’s own words can be backed up by action. End result however is unmistakable by the time the first three minutes are up - Cassie taking the round for herself, with Avril barely landing any punches in turn. Not the best opening for the ‘Queen’ by any stretch.

ROUND 2:
While Cassie may think herself as faster and better, the reality is Avril still able to weave around her swings and jabs, especially avoiding some of the bigger punches thrown her way. This was especially so in the first round, but made more obvious now because Avril at long last starts to fight back. She’s taking more opportunities to plant leather in Cassie’s face now that she’s gotten the blonde’s rhythm and movements predicted a little better. Cassie the one grunting out loud each time her cheek’s snagged or a hook lands into her side, finding herself suddenly getting beaten about left right center instead of the other way round. Canadian songstress licking her lips as she moves in for the kill in the last minute, eager to finish this fight off before it can really go the distance, but doesn’t expect herself to get caught in a wild hook out of nowhere as Cassie slams a hard and fast one right into the middle of her forearms! Avril lets out a yelp of her own, momentarily stunned as she’s shoved about. Cassie trying to give chase, but her body barely cooperating as the bruises start to take a toll on her flexibility from the earlier abuse. Hooks chasing Avril’s head but they don’t manage to catch her for the remainder. Avril back to defensive holding pattern - if she keeps this up for the rest of the match, she’ll be sure to take this overall victory home with her.

ROUND 3:
Well, two can play at this game - Cassie staying put in the first minute, not wanting to play cat-and-mouse any longer. Avril left with little choice but to step in warily and jab at the guard, thinking that her foe’s ready to go down early. But then, a sudden, well-timed hit into her side has her re-evaluating that thought with a grunt, before Cassie LATCHES onto her prey with another hook flush to the face! OUCH. Avril this time STUNNED well and good, has to fend off a sudden surge as the blonde bucks and wails away at her in full overdrive action, as though awakened from her slumber and making up for lost time. Lavigne weathering the assault well, but not before catching a couple more swipes into her body. Cassie also running out of steam from the constant swinging - no one can truly keep up such a pace for so long. Last minute has both girls catching their breaths at opposite ends of the ring, circling each other warily. Avril got careless back there, and it’s a mistake she’s not bound to make again. She spends the remaining seconds of the round taking jabs only when she’s certain they’ll land on her opponent’s head, managing to stave off the inevitable here when the bell rings.

ROUND 4:
Lavigne looking wary all of sudden again and Cassie looks to dictate terms to her. One thing we can say for sure: the blonde is showing plenty of her own resolve at wanting to floor Avril in this opening minute. Perhaps it was the good round she had prior; perhaps she just really doesn't like Avril’s face. We may never know. Cassie pushing her back with steady stream of punches, frustrating Av's own attempts at landing anything significant. However, those who know how Avril fights quickly realise the singer's leading her foe around the ring with ease, looking to tire Scerbo out in these early rounds. Avril always keeping herself one step out of range of the charging blonde, parrying her lights jabs out of the way or just jumping back from her heavier swings. Last minute and Scerbo KNOWS she's getting out-foxed, STILL makes an error in judgment by gambling an overhand hook that Lavigne side-steps to avoid in the nick of time, before she TURNS the blonde's head to the side on its hinges! Scerbo goes flying off her feet, her entire body twisting sideways from the momentous swing, and collapses onto her side with a THUDD! What a KNOCKDOWN!!

Cassie’s left sputtering on all fours as she tries to prop herself up on her elbows, with Avril mercilessly ignoring her as though she was (quite literally) beneath her notice, parading back to corner with arms in the air. Referee keeps the count going and Ms Scerbo doesn't look like she’s going to make it back up by the count of 10! Groan from the crowd confirms this as the blonde sinks back down to her knees before it even reaches the final tally. This fight is declared over!

Official Decision: Avril Lavigne defeats Cassie Scerbo via KO4!

AFTER:
“Who's drooling now, B*TCH!?!?” Avril screams at her fallen foe, already mid-way making her way over to inflict more damage, but is positively stopped by a wall of ring officials in her way.

None of that post-fight humiliation gonna happen here today, with Scerbo’s friends-in-higher-places seeing to protect the blonde from Avril’s wrath. Initially seemingly satisfied however when Scerbo doesn't have the strength or heart to respond, Lavigne appears to finally ignore her, turning her attention back to the crowd and shouting at them a declaration as well: “I kicked this tough girl’s f*cking ass! Queen Lavigne in da house bitches!” the Canadian giggles.

When nobody's paying attention though, Avril suddenly makes a mad dash around the wall of men, drawing a sharp cheer from the crowd when she reaches Scerbo’s prone firm and STOMPS a foot straight into her ass! Cassie groaning out loud, but powerless to stop the power display here, leaving it up to the referee and the rest of the officials to quickly pry Lavigne off her perch. Lavigne giggling at the mad furore that’s also erupting by ringside, raising her arms and posing one last time for the crowd as she’s led back to her corner to celebrate. Another successful demolition for the Canadian Queen who seems to be setting her sights on the top of the FCBA’s Flyweight division - who or what will be next?
