Intro
Next up Dua Lipa and Hayley Atwell meet up tonight in the Tokyo Dome, can Dua continue her rise up the rankings or will Hayley put a road block in the way?

Dua is 24 years old; she stands 5'8, holding a record of 12 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 3 defeats.

Hayley is 37 years old; she stands 5'6, holding a record of 18 wins, 16 coming by way of knockout, with 11 defeats, she is a former BBU JMDD champion.

The fighters were interviewed in the build up to the fight at their gyms, Dua finishing her session before she speaks to the the press, wearing a red sports bra, yoga pants and trainers as she has a training bag over her shoulder.

"I can't wait to fight Hayley, she is a great person and a hell of a fighter, so I have to be at my best this coming Friday to beat her'" Dua says as she shows plenty of respect for her opponent.

Then she adds "it is a bit of a shame this couldn't happen in London, maybe after this we could fight back in our home country, but I am so excited to be fighting in front of a new crowd in Japan" smiling as she heads off to go home.

While Hayley is weight training when the press come in, she is allowed to stop by her trainer Nia Peeples, with Hayley warmly smiling as she jogs over to the journalists and the camera crew.

She is asked how she feels fighting a fellow Londoner, Hayley grins as she replies "well I fought Wallis (Day) remember only a month ago, maybe my young Londoners are think they can use me as a stepping stone to glory"

Laughing before she continues "seriously though Dua is a hell of a prospect, she can be a champion but for now I have to focus on myself, maybe I'll give her tips to improve after I beat her"

She waves to the press before heading off to the ring to go spar with Shay Mitchell, Shay overheard saying "you really say you might give her tips, god you are so corny" they giggle.

Fight night; Dua comes out with her coach beside her, she is grinning as she jogs down the aisle, looking cool and calm as she is going into one of her biggest fights of her career.

The singer is wearing a black sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks, black shoes, gold gloves and her hair is tied back into a braid for this fight.

Stepping into the ring; Dua bows to each side of the ring, her supporters chant her name as she smiles and blows them kisses before heading off to her corner.

Hayley now is out with Nia beside her, she bangs her gloves together before waving to the crowd, she is getting a great reception from the fans as she heads down the aisle to the ring.

The actress is wearing a blue sports bra with a silver star on the center of the bust, blue trunks with red stripes down the sides, blue shoes with red laces, red gloves and her hair braided too.

Climbing through the rope, Hayley steps to the center of the ring, waving to the fans as her and Dua nod to each other with a smile, Hayley heading back to her corner bouncing on her toes.

Jogging to the center of the ring, the fighters look relaxed as the referee goes through their instructions, though their eyes are locked onto each others all the while.

Touching gloves up respectfully; they wish each other good luck in a genuine manner, then jogged back to their corners, ready to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Starting off testing each other out, both fighters circle around the center of the ring, with Hayley looking for an angle to get inside to work.

But Dua is doing well to keep back the smaller fighter, using her quicker footwork to move around the more forward attacking Hayley.

As the round goes on; Hayley does start to find more success as she reads the movement of Dua, stepping in closer to land to the abs of the singer to begin pushing her back.

Nudging back Hayley with her left forearm, Dua lands a jab/straight into the nose of her fellow Brit, opening up the veteran to more punches into her face.

Taking a step back; Hayley let's Dua at her, overly keen seems Dua as she misses with a left cross, Hayley dipping down before hammering in two hooks to the ribs.

A grandstand finish to the opening round as they slug it out in close, the crowd cheering the fighters all the way up to the bell.

Where the two fighters return to their corners quickly, getting a quick drink as they talk to their coaches, Dua being praised but reminded not to let Hayley get that close if she can help it.

Round 2:
Coming back out to fight; Hayley looks to move in quicker to Dua, who moves side to side so she isn't an easy target, both landing stiff jabs and straights as they fight around the ring.

Dipping down under a left; Hayley comes up with an overhand right to the cheek of her opponent, turning her head as Hayley pressures back the singer.

Dua is getting forced into intense firefights on the inside, Hayley keeping her guard compact, keeping in close to the taller fighter.

Landing a left to the side of Hayley's head, Dua starts to open up space between them with punches across the cheeks, forcing Hayley to retreat back and both reset their stance.

Trying to clearly get back at Atwell, Lipa steps in with a straight that misses as Hayley sidesteps it, a counter right slamming into the face of Dua to turn her head.

Knocked onto the ropes, Dua is pinned behind her guard as Hayley works her over, the bell soon rings to end the round.

Nia looking happier seeing her fighter get on the front foot this round, they look cheerful as they discuss things, Hayley fist bumping Nia before the next round begins.

Round 3:
Bouncing on her toes as she comes out her corner, Hayley looking relaxed as she comes to fight, as Dua works behind her jab trying to keep things on the outside.

Smartly Hayley starts to cut off the ring, giving Dua less space to work in, with the Pretty Little Puncher parrying a jab before coming in with a left across the jaw of her opponent.

Finding herself being knocked back along the ropes, Dua covering up as she finds herself under fire from the veteran, who is switching up from headhunting to the body to keep Dua from being able to block all the punches aimed at her.

Pulling Hayley into a clinch, Dua takes a breath as she looks over at her coach, the referee breaking them apart, giving Dua the chance to get into space.

Hayley tries to keep in control of the fight, with Dua able to keep her at range with her movement and straight shots, both women trading stiff single punches that knock sweat off their opponent.

The final moments of the round sees them both let their hands go more, trying to knock back their opponent, the round comes to a close with the fighters turning on their heels to return to their corners.

Dua is being told by her coach to step up a gear, she needs to open up more if she is to get their game plan working, Dua nodding along as she admits she knows she isn't doing enough to win this so far.

Round 4:
Dua comes out throwing more headhunting punches as she circles Hayley, who steps forwards trying to keep the pressure on the younger fighter.

Both land stinging punches when Hayley is able to get in close, Dua though smacks her back to the outside with a jab/right cross combo that sends sweat flying.

Taking the center of the ring, Dua controls it with her punches banging head the back of her opponent, the punches from Dua are coming more quickly as she loosens up.

As the round is heading towards a close, Hayley uses her experience to time her attack, parrying a right to get inside to land an uppercut that knocks back Dua's head.

A firefight between the fighters in the final moments of the round, sweat flies off both women, who bark with effort as Dua tries to knock back the older woman.

At the bell they exchange a few taunts before heading back to their corners, Dua getting told to keep this up as she nods with a small smile.

Across the ring Nia wipes down the face of Hayley, they are talking about what needs to be done if they are to come away with the win.

Round 5:
Both trade at midrange, Hayley nudging back Dua to try to bully her back, throwing uppercuts that Dua leans out the way of, it allows Hayley to drive back her opponent.

Along the ropes goes Dua, her coach screaming at her to fight back, which seems easier said then done as Hayley puts her head down, working the ribs with hooks to cause Dua to gasp out.

Using her left forearm to nudge back Atwell, Lipa smacks her with a left hook when the actress comes at her, allowing her now to start motoring forwards.

It gets a little scruffy when both use nudges to open up gaps to work in, trying to out muscle their opponent in this pocket exchanges.

Till late in the round Dua lands an uppercut to knock Hayley onto her heels, bashing the face of Atwell with repeated punches as Dua really opens up on her.

At the bell Dua looks to the heavens with a smile, feeling like things have turned back into her favour, her coach reminding her what happened last time she felt that in this fight.

Round 6:
Dua looks to be throwing more punches in volume now, relaxed it seems as Hayley is struggling to get in as close as she was before.

Stepping out the way of an uppercut, Dua lands a left onto the chin of Hayley that opens her up to a three punch combination, ending with an uppercut of her own as Hayley stumbles back to the ropes.

Hayley tries to fire back, but she is starting to eat too many clean punches as Dua sends in a barrage, A RIGHT HOOK TO THE CHIN SENDS HAYLEY DOWN TO ALL FOURS!

Dua doesn't celebrate the knockdown, just heading straight to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Hayley shakes her head to clear it, 4...5... When she tries to get up, 6...7.. She stumbles back to her butt, her legs are jelly, 8...9..10 all she can do is sit and watch the count end!

Winner Dua Lipa KO Round 6

After:
Another great win for the growing reputation of Dua, she finally smiles as she raises her arms into the air, given a hell of a workout from the veteran but coming through with flying colours.

While Hayley gets checked on by Nia after being helped onto a stool, Hayley apologizing to her coach, which Nia waves off as she tells her fighter "none of that crap, you gave a great effort, next time you will win OK?" Making Hayley smile.

Over comes Dua to check on Hayley after her gloves are taken off, they bump fists to show respect as Hayley tells Dua "you got some fast hands" Dua nodding in reply.

Once they are back in their corners, sweat is wiped off of them and they both enjoy a drink of cold water, the crowd applauding both fighters.

Heading to the center of the ring, Hayley nods as Dua gets her hand raised to a cheer from her fans, Hayley coming over to Dua to say "maybe me and you can head to London next time we meet, fight JMDD style" winking at that part.

Smiling as she puts hands under her boobs, Dua replies "never say never right?" The two fighters shaking hands as they both chuckle.

Hayley then steps out the ring, a few pundits wondering if she has the drive right now against these younger women to stay on top of them, losing to Wallis Day and now Dua Lipa will not help get rid of those questions.

Inside the ring Dua poses for the cameras, her coach smiling as they clap for her, before they both leave the ring together to head to the back.

Dua is certainly going in the right direction, question is how long before she is really embedded in the title race? She keeps winning and it shouldn't be too long.
