BEFORE:



"Well," says Charlize with a smile. "Not my first time in Philly or my first time against a Front Street fighter, but, definitely my first time at Asylum, and, with Torv being an opponent I've wanted for awhile, this should be fun."



"Obviously," says Anna with a nod, "ANY time you get an opportunity to fight the GOAT, it's something special. But, it's also a fight I have to win, and that's exactly what I plan to do."



ROUND ONE:



O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'The Pain and the Passion' by Midnight Oil you hear, and that means that 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv, is on her way to the ring!"



McCarthy: "Finally, a REAL fighter!"



Cassie: "Uncle Wiz showing his normal class and giving the honors to the FCBA's all-time greatest fighter..."



McCarthy: "Weirdo wouldn't know class from a hole in the ground!"



O'Dell: "Anna tapping glove to fist with Mac on the way by the table as usual. She climbs up into the ring and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that black number we've seen before. And that is 'Cat People' by David Bowie you hear behind us..."



McCarthy: "That's a STUPID theme song for Theron! She wasn't IN that movie!"



Cassie: "No, but she WAS the star of 'Atomic Blonde', and this song is one of several that was featured in THAT film..."



O'Dell: "Crowd on its feet here as Queen Charlize makes her way to the ring. She wastes no time climbing in and being helped off with the robe by her corner crew. And, the Golden Goddess looks mighty good in that gold bikini..."



McCarthy: "Not as good as I would..."



O'Dell: "Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. In case the fans are not aware, Tractorpull is no longer covering Theron fights, and, as a result, Tess is no longer here at the table with us and has not made an official prediction on this fight..."



McCarthy: "This might finally be the move that gets Walmart fired! HBO can't like her walking off the job..."



Cassie: "HBO doesn't have a thing to say about it. UNCLE WIZ picks the announcers, and HE doesn't have a problem with it..."



McCarthy: "It's NEPALISM, THAT's what it is!"



Cassie: "It's WHAT now?"



McCarthy: "NEPALISM! That Pointy-Hatted Weirdo will protect her job because she's YOUR BFF!"



Cassie: "Actually, he'll keep her on the broadcasts because she's an excellent journalist and he's needs credentials like hers to balance out having YOU here..."



McCarthy: "You LITTLE..."



O'Dell: "A-HEM! It's time for some PICKS. Mac?"



McCarthy: "Theron's been ducking me for YEARS! Torv!"



O'Dell: "Cassie?"



Cassie: "I like Anna."



O'Dell: "There's the bell. Ladies showing some caution early, unlike the first time they fought, and, they may be doing it BECAUSE of the way things went the first time they fought, with both fighters getting hurt in the first and only two rounds of the contest. This time, they're setting up at range and making with the jabs..."



McCarthy: "I like this strategy for Torv. She's better built to take this fight into deep waters than Theron is at this point. No sense committing early."



O'Dell: "Both fighters probing with the left hands, working in the odd follow-on right. Charlize has some reach here, but Anna, veteran that she is, able to angle and mostly eliminate that advantage. Theron a nice combination there and Torv fires right back with one of her own."



Cassie: "This is good tactical stuff you're seeing right now. Maybe not as exciting as the two-round jailbreak they had the last time, but, fun for someone who knows boxing to watch."



O'Dell: "Down the stretch in a competitive first round. Theron lands a solid right hand and Anna responds with a nice flurry that forced the GOAT to cover up. Ten seconds to go in the round. One final exchange and there's the bell. Blondes tap gloves and head back to their corners. Close. Torv."



McCarthy: "And Anna's got the 10-9 edge."



ROUND TWO:



O'Dell: "Second begins with some forward movement from Theron. Charlize banging out that jab and looking to close behind it. Anna giving some ground here, not wanting to get into another slugfest with her fellow blonde. Charlize wants to force the issue a bit, though, stepping to as Anna circles back."



McCarthy: "I TOLD you. Torv's better built for deep water. Theron wants to try to get something going early."



O'Dell: "Charlize working that left hand and LANDS A HARD RIGHT! That one got Anna's attention! Theron letting the hands go now, backing up the Aussie with some hard right hands. Torv covering up, backed to the ropes. Charlize getting off more than a little lusty right now..."



Cassie: "Anna may be a little buzzed right now."



O'Dell: "Could be, because that right hand was pretty solid. Torv playing peek-a-boo on the ropes. Theron just so PRECISE, splitting those gloves with jabs, banging right hands behind Anna's defenses, pilling up points as we head to the bell. There it is. End of the second. Theron. Wide."



Cassie: "And, we're even at 19."



ROUND THREE:



O'Dell: "Theron again making with the pressure. Torv going to stand her ground this time, firing right back, stopping the Theron offensive in its tracks as Charlize decides not to press the issue. Instead, blondes go back to range and back to boxing. Torv again angling, cutting down the GOAT's reach advantage..."



McCarthy: "I've said this a JILLION times. Torv is the best fighter Weirdo has and has been for YEARS and you're seeing why now."



O'Dell: "Anna getting punches put together. She's scoring with both hands. Theron getting leather on as well, and, much like the first round, it's good, two-way stuff between a pair of talented boxers. Charlize a solid right hand and a GOOD right in response from Torv, who hooks some body off it."



McCarthy: "That's what I'D do. Theron's been through eight bajillion fights. Work the body and she'll collapse!"



Cassie: "For those of you who have 'Mac Won't Stop Making Up Numbers' mark your square..."



McCarthy: "What ARE you babbling about, Scabbo?"



O'Dell (sighing): "Final thirty seconds of this stanza. Torv a good one-two and Theron responds with a combination of her own. Not a ton in it as we approach the bell. Both fighters looking to grab this thing late as we see a big exchange and then another and there's the bell. Close. Torv."



Cassie: "And, Anna's back up 29-28."



ROUND FOUR:



O'Dell: "Fourth begins with Charlize probing forward again, and, again, Anna setting up, holding her ground, firing back, not going to allow the GOAT to grab canvas from her. Theron insistent this time. She's sitting down on punches, determined to back up the Aussie. Anna a HARD right hand..."



Cassie: "RIGHT HAND, GOAT!"



O'Dell: "And Torv is ROCKED! Theron a NASTY RIGHT! Torv wobbled. LEFT HOOK AND DOWN GOES ANNA! Theron drops Torv with a left hook! Anna on all fours. Charlize to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Six. Torv to her feet at seven. Ref gives her the mandatory, thinks it over, waives Theron forward..."



Cassie: "This is going to get ugly. Still a minute-plus to go in the round..."



O'Dell: "And, Charlize like a surgeon now. Landing laser guided shot, driving Anna back to the ropes and absolutely SAVAGING the Aussie. Torv hanging on in a high guard, trying to ride this out. Referee looking in closely. Not going to watch much more of this. Theron a GOOD right that wobbled Torv. Anna in serious trouble. Good right AGAIN from Theron, but there's the bell! Torv survives."



McCarthy: "And, despite the 10-8 round, she's still only down a point, 38-37."



ROUND FIVE:



O'Dell: "Fifth begins with Theron on the march. She's backing up Anna with hard shot from both hands. Torv trying to slow her rival down, but she's not managing it. Charlize on a roll now, and that's a scary situation if you're the GOAT's opponent. Theron a GOOD right hand that backed up Torv..."



Cassie: "Anna's definitely still buzzed. She playing clock here."



O'Dell: "And, Theron KNOWS it. Charlize upping the pressure, using that long, accurate left to snap back Torv's head, Then, she follows on with hooks and straight rights behind the gloves. It's perfectly timed, surgical stuff and it's working beautifully. Anna on the back foot, gloves high..."



McCarthy: "She's countering in spots. Needs to get busier, though."



O'Dell: "Easier said than done with Theron continuing to lay down such accurate, suppressive fire. Into the final twenty seconds of what has to have seemed like a VERY long round for the Aussie. Theron works her to the ropes, lets the hands go. Torv rolling with, countering with a sharp right hand and there's the bell. Charlize. Wide."



Cassie: "And, Theron's now up 48-46 at the half."



ROUND SIX:



O'Dell: "Theron after Torv again to start the sixth. Charlize banging away and Anna's banging right back and we've got ourselves a FIREFIGHT in the middle of the ring! Blondes exchanging BOMBS right now, as Theron tries to press the advantage and Anna's determined to stop the offensive..."



McCarthy: "THIS is what Torv needs to do!"



O'Dell: "Both fighters taking some serious shot right now, but Anna managing to stabilize her front. Theron a GOOD right hand and Torv responds with one of her own! Two NASTY punches and there's another flurry and both blondes land good right hands in that one! And, nobody backs up an inch!"



Cassie: "This is starting to look like the first fight."



O'Dell: "Indeed, it is. Nothing subtle about what's happening right now. This is a slugfest with neither fighter willing to give an inch of canvas. THERON'S head snapped back by an Aussie right and now CHARLIZE lands a booming left hook and there's the bell! What a round! Nothing in it. Draw."



McCarthy: "Theron's still up 58-56, but there's plenty of time for Torv."



ROUND SEVEN:



O'Dell: "Into the seventh now, and the ladies setting up at range. Charlize no longer pushing forward, instead willing to box with. She's snapping out the left and GETTING ROCKED WITH A RIGHT HAND! Torv a BLISTERING right and Theron is HURT! Charlize stumbling backward..."



McCarthy: "Now's the time! Finish her NOW!"



O'Dell: "Anna winging away. Theron back into the ropes and they may have been the only thing that stopped her from going down. Torv throwing bombs now, looking to shut off the power. Charlize with the hands high, putting the body on sale. Anna buying, thumping the ribs and midsection..."



Cassie: "Man can you HEAR those hooks landing to the body, and they're on the other side of the ring!"



O'Dell: "Anna just all OVER Theron right now. Referee looking closely, but the GOAT doing enough to stave him off. Torv, meanwhile, throwing everything she has at her fellow blonde, but can't seem to get her out of there. Twenty seconds to go. Torv ANOTHER good right. Theron wobbled a bit. Ten seconds. Anna WHACKING the ribs and there's the bell. Charlize survives. Shutout, Torv."



McCarthy: "67-66 for Theron with three left."



ROUND EIGHT:



O'Dell: "Torv looking to press the advantage in the eighth. Anna coming forward aggressively behind the left. She's backing up Theron with heavy fire. Charlize giving a lot of ground right now, still unsteady. Anna a good right hand. Theron covers up and TORV DROPS HER!"



Cassie: "Left hook and she landed that CLEAN!"



O'Dell: "Absolutely did and now it's Charlize on hands and knees as Anna heads to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Six. Theron shaking the head and pushing to her feet at seven. Referee going to give her the mandatory and waive on Anna. Torv all in now, Mac..."



McCarthy: "Now's the time. Finish right now!"



O'Dell: "And, that's definitely the Aussie's plan. She's got Charlize pinned to the ropes and now she's not buying body at any price. Instead she's banging away upstairs. GOOD right hand! That wobbled Charlize's knees. RIGHT SPLITS THE GLOVES and Theron's legs do a shimmy and IT"S OVER! Theron out on her feet and the referee leaping in to cradle her to safety! And your winner by TKO8 is 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv!"



McCarthy: "I TOLD you! The deeper they went, the better it got for Torv!"



AFTER:



O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Cassie Scerbo!"



Cassie: "I have our winner, Anna Torv, and, Anna, that was some fight!"



Anna (smiling): "Just like the last time, only this one took a little longer than two rounds."



Cassie: "Same result, though. YOU came out on top."



Anna (nodding): "Could have gone either way, though. Just like the last time."



Cassie: "2017 has been a pretty good year for you. What's 2018 have in store?"



Anna (smiling): "Another shot at those belts, I hope. That's the goal, anyway."
