JENNIFER GARNER VS TAYLOR HILL
Results: Lookout Writing: Archer
Jennifer: 45 YO,5’8 (1.73 m), 84-40-1, 54 KO since 2002, Foxfire Boxing
Taylor: 21 YO, 5’10 1. (1.97 m) 3-1-0, 3 KO since 2017, Sceej Boxing

Before: “I have to admit that I don’t know if I should be flattered or insulted,” Jennifer Garner cheerfully tells the press at the pre-fight. “Either Sceej Boxing thinks I can teach their new hire here a few things—or they think I’m an easy mark because I’ve been semi-retired for 5 years now. I prefer to think that it’s because I can teach Taylor now that she’s lost her first fight, because if you thinks I’m an easy mark she will be in for an unpleasant evening.”

The young brunette, Taylor Hill nods politely: “Nice of you to keep track of my career like that. Yes, Nina Agdal beat me, and I didn’t much like the experience. Yes, I regard this fight as educational, but which of us learns a lesson and which one of us teaches it may not be what you are thinking it will be. I will certainly do my best to make sure my new management isn’t disappointed in signing me.”
Jennifer eyes Taylor with some suspicion: “You really this gracious or is it an act?”

“Maybe I just don’t want to say the wrong thing and set you off,” Taylor replied. “Or maybe I really am that gracious. Guess you will find out soon enough.”

With that, Taylor Hill bows to Jennifer Garner and exits the stage. Jennifer finds herself alone on stage looking puzzled as toe whether she has just been dissed or not. She makes her exit frowning as she ponders the question.

Come fight night, Jennifer is in an elegant, one-piece white swimsuit cut high in the hips, with black gloves and boots (white laces), Hair pulled back in battle braid down her back. Taylor in a sleeved purple bodysuit overlaid with silver flowers. She had dark purple gloves and boots (light purple laces). Her hair is loose but wetted down. Taylor seems to make a point of moving as close as possible to Jen in an apparent attempt to emphasize their height difference. Jen gives Taylor an icy look of disdain to let her know she is not at all intimidated. Taylor just looks over Jen’s head. Correct, but tense ring instructions and the two are then dispatched to their corners to await the bell. It sounds.

R1: Jennifer out smoothly and goes for Taylor’s head with some quick rights and lefts. Taylor slapped around, but pulls back and then comes in low aiming at Jen’s midsection. Jen knocked forward by the force Taylor’s driving hooks and stutter-steps backwards. Taylor staying with Jen now bounces some rights and lefts off the veteran’s head. Jen jabbing back, trying to keep the aggressive Taylor off her, but Taylor hanging in there despite having her face and breasts banged. Jen cracks one off Taylor’s jaw to force her back and gives herself some breathing room. However Taylor seems to quickly shake off the jaw shot and comes right back Jen. The veteran and the rookie fight it out at close range. One might have the longer limbed Taylor to prefer fighting at a distance, but she is willing to duke it out toe to toe with the experienced Jennifer. The punching is intense, but then Taylor goes to the belly with the hook and it sends shivers down Garner’s gams. Jen slowing down as she tries to back out to get her breath, though she still throwing up a good jab. Taylor taking the hits to head and upper body, but not letting up. Bell sounds to end the punchfest. Judges give it to Taylor Hill by a close margin. Both fighters have red, swollen and marked up faces, but neither seems discouraged at this point.

R2: Jennifer was out quickly and circling Taylor at mid-ring. She was again striking at Taylor’s head knocking it back with repeated quicks shots to the chin and to the face. At the same time she was dancing back which weakened the impacts of Taylor’s counters and, even better, the frustrated Taylor started lunging after Jen. This created some quick opportunities for Jennifer up smack leather into Taylor’s increasingly swollen and discolored face. Then when Taylor’s guard went up, Jennifer turned her attention to working over the model’s belly, ribcage and breasts. Taylor was clearly not liking getting worked over like this, but seemed to be having trouble finding an effective answer. Taylor did manage to land some nice overhand jabs from mid-range to smack Jen’s dimples and cheekbones enough to avoid being swept in the round. Still, Jennifer Garner booked this round wide in her column.

R3: Jennifer now tried some pressure tactics. Trying to get in close with shots to the body mixed surprise pops that caught Taylor between the eyes and in the forehead. Taylor again accepted a challenge to fight in close and she began pounding Jen’s midsection with blows that landed with wet smacks that could clearly be heard far out in the arena. Jen was grimacing under these body blows, but she fought back and sank hooks deep into the model’s belly. Taylor’s lanky body folded forward and she backpedaled out of there. Jen sent a sweeping right to the jaw that spun Taylor’s head and sent her wetted temdrils of hair slapping against her face. Taylor staggered but swung back with a punch that caught Jennifer on the jaw and swiveled her head sending her braid snapping around her face. Both fighters then lunged in but ended up more grappling and punching and referee had to step in to separate them. Jen then struck back first to Taylor’s belly and forced her back just as the bell rang. Taylor and Jen looked defiantly at one another and then turned away. Jen won the round, but Taylor had made this one close.

R4: Taylor moved more quickly this time and startled Jennifer with her first long range punching of the bout. Taylor was now circling, bobbing and weaving, making herself a difficult target for Jen’s counters. Jen was getting hit hard and often to the head forcing her to hunch up behind her upper guard. Now Taylor attacked Jennifer to the body as she moved in close. Jen fought back with the jab and they battled evenly through the middle portion of the round. Then Taylor began use quick uppercuts in behind Jen’s gloves to work the veteran’s chin with repeated strong punches. Jen’s head began to bounce like a bobble head doll and her legs began to tremble. Jennifer backed away behind the cover of her jab as the round came to an end. On the cards it was a narrow win for Taylor Hill, but Jennifer Garner was walking on shaky legs as she made her way slowly to hr corner. Taylor watched this and banged her gloves together in clear eagerness to pick up where she left off.

R5: Jennifer was slow off her stool and approached a quick-moving Taylor with caution. Taylor again used the long range shots to rattle Jen’s head and get her ducking. Then she rolled forward behind a strong set of hooks to the belly that were clearly sending electric jolts down Jen’s straining stems. Then Taylor suddenly pulled back and the groggy Jen stumbled forward—RIGHT INTO A CRASHING SHOT TO THE TEMPLE! DOWN GOES JENNY G! Arms dropping to her side, Jennifer noses into the canvas as the rest of her body crashes down. She lies there twitching and groaning as Taylor Hill strides confidently to the neutral corner. The referee moves in. Jen’s struggles to rise, but she can’t get her body to obey. She looks up in foggy confusion as she hears the dreaded:
“NINE!...TEN!... YER OUT!”

THE WINNER: TAYLOR HILL DEFEATS JENNIFER GARNER (KO5)

After: “I think I surprised her by be willing to fight in close,” Taylor Hill explains to the press. “She’s a tough one—and I got the lumps on my face to prove it, but so am I and I knocked her out. I hope she’s all right. She was willing to take me on, so I really don’t have ill feelings against her—I hope the feeling is mutual.”

Jennifer has to be helped to her stool and then cautiously checked out. As soon as she is able Jen has a robe thrown over her shoulders and goes over to speak to Taylor.

“Congratulations, Taylor, you did a good job,” Jen says giving Taylor a hug.

“Thank you,” Taylor says, “so did you.”

“That’s nice of you to say, but it wasn’t enough. Good luck in the future. Foxfire’s got some lights who are a lot younger than me. I think Mary and Sophia will be wanting to see you in the ring after this.”

“Oh, I hope so, I want to be the best and you only get that way by beating the best,” Taylor said eagerly,

Taylor then gave Jen a hug and they touched sweaty foreheads before Jen headed back to her own corner.

If anyone doubted Taylor Hill has talent at lightweight this fight should have cleared that up. True Jennifer Garner is passed her best years, but she still has punching power. Taylor was able to take those punches and evolve tactics to fight her way to victory. Of course, the question is now how well Taylor will do against the younger lightweights. Garner’s mention of Sophie Turner already has stirred some excitement on social media, but the respective managements are staying quiet for now.
