(The Metermaids vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The Final Resolutions card now sees a battle of two Down Under stars; both former stars of hit Australian soap opera Neighbours, as Holly Valance fights Eliza Taylor in New York's MSG.
Holly is 34 years old, she stands at 5'8 and holds a record of 16 wins, 9 by knockout, 17 defeats and 1 draw, she is also the head trainer for the Metermaids stable when she isn't in the ring herself.
While Eliza is 28 years old, stands at 5'5 and holds a record of 4 wins, 3 by knockout and 2 defeats, her last fight being a brutal knockout victory over Michelle Rodriguez in January.
There didn't seem to be any ill feeling between the girls as they met up and shook hands, small smiles on their faces as they posed together for photos before beginning the press event properly.
Holly asked to begin the speeches "I have to say that I know my stable has looked at Eliza a few times, she looks a good boxer but to be frank; we think she lacks something"
Holding her hands up to Eliza to show she doesn't mean offence, she adds "it's not meant as an insult; just an observation, she has the tools physically to do well in this division, it just seems that maybe the drive isn't there from the bits we've witnessed"
Finishing with "so I plan on forcing her to dig deep because I will punish her if she tries to half arse it in that ring, though I plan on beating her at her best too"
To Eliza's credit you could say, she doesn't look upset, replying to the comments "I am glad that you've been scouting me, though the whole lack of drive bit confuses me, I work my ass off as hard as any fighter in the FCBA, if you are saying I should have had more fights, well I try to get them but if no one bites then that isn't exactly an easy wall to climb over"
Adding "I have watched Holly a lot through the years, she was a big influence in fact on where my career path has went, that doesn't mean though I am simply going to roll over for you, in fact I'm going to drag myself over you in those rankings and get the bigger fights as my career grows" with Holly nodding in reply.
Both girls shake hands one more time, exchanging a few words about the fight and whose going to come out on top as some of that early friendliness has turned cold, before the girls head off to do last minute preparations for the fight.
Fight night, Holly arrives first with Tara Moss by her side as her coach for tonight, Valance bounces on her toes at the top of the ramp before beginning her walk to the ring.
She is wearing a yellow sports bra, matching trunks with a green trim, yellow shoes, yellow gloves and her blonde hair is in a ponytail.
Climbing into the ring; she smiles and waves to her cheering fans, before nodding to Tara and going through her warm up routine.
Now out comes Eliza, she is wearing a black sports bra, trunks with fake fur around the waistband, black gloves and shoes, while her blonde hair is also in a ponytail.
She looks in a good mood herself as she heads to the ring, chatting to some fans at ringside about what she is going to do to Holly, before jogging up the steps and getting in the ring.
Her demeanor changes as she looks over Holly, getting into her zone as she knows how dangerous the older fighter can be.
Soon she gets a close up of the always impressive Holly physique, Holly has to admit Eliza has also gotten into great shape for this fight.
The referee knocks both out their stupor of measuring the other up with asking them to touch gloves, the girls respectfully do as asked and jog off to their corners, with the bell sounding to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters with both using their jab early to try to set the pace, Holly looking good with her longer reach allowing her to keep Eliza back.
But Eliza shows her speed to duck under a jab and step inside to land body punches, then an overhand right to start to drive the older fighter back.
Holly needing to cover up as Eliza is slamming her punches into the sides of Valance's body to drive the air out of her.
The Metermaids trainer needing to fire back; leading to both going toe to toe in the centre of the ring, the crowd roaring both girls on as they forgot defence.
Again though Eliza lands the better punches, her hand speed and power batters Holly back several steps, forcing Holly to clinch up or face being blasted out in round 1.
After the referee separates the fighters, Holly much more defensive, working off the back foot as she lands to the top of her opponent's head to keep her from getting in close.
It's not long though till Eliza parries a straight and steps in with a lunging like right that doesn't land flush, but keeps Holly open for Taylor to land two punches across the cheeks of the older fighter.
Holly driven onto the ropes with a flurry smacking her face back, the veteran needing to shove her back and move into space to shake the beating.
Eliza hunts her down as the seconds tick away in the round, Holly looking relieved as the bell rings; while Taylor looks to keep her focus as she jogs to her corner and is praised by her coach.
Tara needs to get Holly out her funk, telling her "come on Hol! You are better then her! You are letting her bully you around like a little girl" with Holly replying "I know that, just give me a moment to think about this" the bell for the next round comes quickly though.

Round 2:
Eliza looks keen to keep getting into the face of Holly, who looks to have taken a more compact approach to her defence, letting Eliza slam punches off her gloves and arms, before countering.
The younger fighter showing she still has some things to learn as she leaves herself open to the counters while she looks to end this.
Several punches knocking Eliza's head back, Holly starting to press her opponent back towards the ropes, the older actress landing her punches off the gloves of her opponent.
Eliza slips under a right cross to dig a right into the abs, Holly groaning; especially as she takes a right across her cheek that turns her head.
The younger fighter starting to reassert her control of the fight, Holly trying to force Eliza back, getting forced to fight on the inside as Taylor seems physical better.
Eliza lands two cross punches that back Holly up onto her heels, following up with two uppercuts that try to burrow through the guard, but the arms of Valance take the power from them.
Holly tries to fire back with her jab aimed at the top of her opponents head, Eliza bobs her head out the way to dodge them.
Before landing an overhand right to the top of Holly's head, a flurry of five punches slams into the veteran's face to open up her bottom lip.
The bell rings with Holly leaning on the ropes, wiping the blood from her mouth as she watches Eliza head back to her almost with a swagger to her step.
Holly gets back to her corner with Tara looking worried, the Metermaid's corner working hard to try to get her ready for the next round.

Round 3:
Eliza has her eyes narrowed as she hunts her opponent around the ring, Holly trying to keep herself in the fight with long range punches and moving around the outside.
But it isn't long till Eliza finds an opening, SLIPPING UNDER A RIGHT, SHE DUCKS DOWN AND COMES UP WITH AN UPPERCUT THAT PUTS HOLLY ON HER BACKSIDE!
Holly has a stunned look as her eyes glaze over, the referee counting to 6; but as he sees that Holly is just sitting still, so he waves the fight off!

Winner Eliza Taylor KO Round 3

After:
A dominant performance from Eliza as she batters Holly into a dazed mess, the victor raising her arms in the air as she looks slightly stunned herself to have crushed an Australian legend.
Tara helping Holly up and to her seat, having to wake her up from her stupor, with Holly looking embarrassed by her performance.
Holly getting her lip cleaned up with Eliza coming over to the corner to check on her and gloat over the comments Holly had on her.
"So do you think I am not good enough now?" Asks Eliza as she stares at Holly with her hands on her hips, with the trainer looking up at the younger woman.
Holly admits "I got you a few good shots on you but you kicked my ass, you're going to be a star kid" as Eliza smiles and nods her thanks at the kind words.
Eliza heads to the ring centre to get her name announced as the winner, while Holly is helped by Tara out the ring to the locker rooms.
The winner getting a round of applause, Eliza hoping she has ripped the torch from Holly and can begin cementing her place as the best Australian fighter in celebrity boxing.
Of course girls like Miranda Kerr will have some thing to say about that, but as Eliza steps out the ring, at only 27; she has a long time to try and set up her legacy in and out the ring.
