Michelle Keegan vs Daniella Monet
(Beever's Babes vs FCBA Free Agent)
(15-11, 13 KO vs 0-3)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: Michelle Keegan might just be the most physically gifted UK export to FCBA this side of Gemma Atkinson and most fans believe even Cheryl Cole should take a seat based on the JMD value tie-breaker but all that praise counts for nothing if you ask Daniella Monet. The former Nickelodeon stalwart tries to shrug off the teenage cable network vibe and claims she's got what it takes to manhandle true contenders like Keegan: "Sure enough, I'll re-arrange her face tonight! The girl is trash! Why would you import someone like that if you've got talent like ME available?"

Monet's arrogant speech is laughed off by Beever's head trainer Denise Lewis who eyes big things for the former Coronation Street actress next year: "We just want to get on the board before the year is over. Flyweight is extremely crowded as usual and one simply has to book that place on the PPV to remain in the spotlight. We don't care about Monet's talk. We're here to knock her out, Michelle is super fit and ready to spoil that particular party!"

Michelle Keegan wears a black bikini set and red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a loose ponytail. Daniella Monet wears a pink bikini set and white gloves. Long dark brown hair wrapped in a tight bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Daniella's verbal arrogance makes a swift transfer into the ring as she plugs her mitts into Michelle's body and begins to fire away from both flanks which staggers the British actress in the center of the ring. Ugh! Perhaps Michelle didn't buy into all that talk but she might regret it now as she wobbles onto her heels underneath the high-octane onslaught and shows little poise trying to break free. She skims off Monet's forearms and has to seek escape but the American still nails her on the nose with a quick hook and follows it with a steady jabbing rush that leaves the English stunner circling back in avoidance. Monet enforces her presence for remainder of the round as she swings menacingly close around Keegan's head but lacks that truly big punch to sink the fellow brunette into real trouble.

Round 2:
The Beever's camp realizes that hanging back is not an option here so Michelle moves into a higher gear and beats the aggressive Monet for the opening punch; she rattles the younger brunette with a nasty hook on the before blasting her across the tummy and picking off from point-blank range. Daniella scowls in her efforts to remain on top of the close range dispute but eats several hooks upstairs and her guard is clearly not up to the task. She wobbles on her heels but doesn't have the bendy factor to help her out and remains rooted to the spot while Keegan camps inside her face and rocks her head back & forth down the stretch. Ugh! Monet develops a fat lip during the assault and literally stumbles back to the ropes when the English heat intensifies. She tries to swing one last counter-series but Michelle dances around it and slams a left hook right at the bell which tears a cut across the nasal ridge. Ugh! The American almost face-plants alltogether following that punch and her cocky attitude has been well and truly neutralized now.

Round 3:
Michelle just piles on the pressure and dismantles Daniella's high guard during an up-tempo hooking effort that renders the American's guard subpar on the spot. The California native simply can't take a punch here and that remains her cardinal sin ever since Ariana Grande of all people knocked her out! Michelle knows the rough & tumble rules of classic Manchester vs Liverpool wars back home in England and she shows the vulnerable opponent no mercy whatsoever and batters her into stupor with relentless head-hunting pressure. Daniella gets stacked into the corner and her mitts bounce off her face repeatedly as she finds no answers to this leather flooding and screams out in despair. Keegan winces in her efforts to blow the doors off her and when she inflicts another cut around the left eye, Monet's resistance crashes down in flames... "Staphh... Staphh... I can't...I can't... " AND THE REF STEPS IN to wrestle the charging English stunner off her prey. Daniella slides down on her backside with eyes closed but she has just verbally submitted to a superior opponent and that's pretty much as bad as it gets!!! TKO3 Michelle Keegan submission-style!!!

AFTER: Losing to Ariana Grande is one thing but verbally submitting to a BBU crossover fighter is something else - regardless of Keegan's impressive resume. No wonder the former Nickelodeon starlet wants to vanish from the ring ASAP and makes her way to the exit door amid a mix of cheers and whistles. The latter are aimed at her and only her according to most neutral viewers but she's been exposed in the worst way possible tonight. Even Mariah Carey quitting on her stool against the physically superior Gena Lee Nolin doesn't look as bad as this...

Meanwhile it's all smiles for the Beevers crew and Michelle has every right to display that striking grin as she remains in the thick of elite flyweight contention at the turn of the year. Who knows, maybe she'll make history and become the first fighter to win both BBU and FCBA lineal divisional titles next season. Given her top grade physical presence, one could always wish that historical scenario to finally happen. Fingers crossed she makes it!

Final result: Michelle Keegan def. Daniella Monet TKO3 (Submission).
