BEFORE:

"Well," says Sofia with a smile. "I'm glad to finally be here. All the big girls they have, all this time, and no Sofia? Well, tonight, we fix that!"

"She's big and she can hit," says Serinda with a nod. "But, I can hit, too. As she is about to find out."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Loca' by Shakira and Dizzee Rascal..."

McCarthy: "Who now? Shakira, I know..."

O'Dell: "Aaaannnndddd, that's one of the favorite songs of the beauty coming to the ring right now, 'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara!"

Cassie: "Vergara's been engaged in a war with Christina Hendricks of late. Taking time out to make her Asylum debut tonight."

Tess: "She's also 45 years old and might be getting past the time when she should be fighting in the FCBA..."

Cassie: "Tess! Shhhh! She's just a few months older than MAC!"

McCarthy: "Every month I tell you, Walmart. Nothin' but a number! Oh, and SHUT UP, both of you!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys! Sofia into the ring and helped off with the robe. Wearing a white bikini that has the crowd buzzing. THAT body does NOT look 45..."

McCarthy: "Exactly what I'm saying. Looks better than most women half her age!"

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Foxey Lady' by Jimi Hendricks you hear booming through the arena, and that means 'The Hottest Player In The Game', Serinda Swan, is on her way to the ring!"

McCarthy: "Now HER body is overrated..."

Tess: "Swan a big, physical light, but she won't be able to overpower Sofia. Serinda's very athletic, though, and I suspect that will be the advantage she looks to work tonight."

O'Dell: "Serinda into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that red bikini we've seen before, and the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Serinda. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Nothin' but a number. Sofia!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Ladies set up at gunnery range and get to work. Both using the left hand to try to set up big rights. Both moving the feet some, looking for the right angles, but, it's all about getting heavy leather on target here in the first and VERGARA BOMBS SWAN!"

Tess: "WHAT A RIGHT HAND!"

O'Dell: "Serinda wobbled, nearly goes down, and Vergara going all in now. She's winging away, driving Swan backward, trapping her on the ropes and letting the hands go in a big way. Sofia looking to pull a big upset and do it in stunning fashion, using that 'puncher's chance' a girl with her power always has..."

McCarthy: "All she needs is one more punch, and Weirdo's going to have a VACANCY!"

O'Dell: "And, Sofia all about landing it. Thirty seconds left. Vergara a GOOD right that shook Swan. Referee looking in closely. Serinda hanging on. Ten seconds left. Vergara another big flurry, but Serinda ships the shell and stays afloat and there's the bell. Great first round for Sofia."

Cassie: "She's got the 10-9 lead, but she was close to a lot more."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Vergara back to work to start the second. She's looking to finish, of course, but she'll want to at least consolidate here and THERE'S A RIGHT FROM SERINDA AND SOFIA IS GOBSMACKED! That quickly, Vergara sent stumbling and Swan now letting the hands go..."

Cassie: "Wow...THAT turned around quickly..."

O'Dell: "Sure did, and Swan wants to keep it going in her direction. She's landing punches in bunches, backing the older woman into the ropes and having at her with plenty of time left in this round. Vergara in a high guard, taking a lot of leather, but holding up under the punishment, at least for the moment..."

McCarthy: "Doing a good job defensively and throwing enough punches to keep the ref from stopping it."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch now. Swan continuing to pile up hard shots and points, but Sofia looking like riding this storm out like Serinda did the heavy weather in the first. Five seconds left. One more good flurry from Swan and there's the bell. Serinda's got it wide, but, like Sofia in the last round, she may have left something on the table."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Swan coming forward and quickly stopped in her tracks by heavy fire from Vergara! Colombian clearly has plenty of leg back under her, as she forces Serinda to range, where boxing commences. Got to admit, Mac, I'm surprised Sofia was able to shake the damage that quickly..."

McCarthy: "Listen, we older fighters can take a punch. Except Scherzinger. She couldn't take one when she was younger, and she can't take one NOW."

O'Dell: "Both fighters working their left hands, dropping rights in off them. This is more Swan's game than Vergara's, but Sofia doing an excellent job getting the geometry down right now, and she's holding her own on these terms as we head into the final minute of what's been a competitive round three."

Tess: "Sofia moving the head and shoulders very well, getting to spots and getting off quickly."

O'Dell: "Absolutely is, and that's why she's able to stay right with Swan in what's become an excellent two-way round that's settled what started out as a wild fight down a bit. Twenty seconds to go. NICE right hand from Vergara that backs Swan up and Sofia follows with a combination at the bell. Close. Vergara."

Cassie: "And, Sofia's back on top 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins the way the third ended, at range with both ladies working their left hands and SWAN ROCKING VERGARA WITH A RIGHT! Sofia sent reeling backward by an absolutely BRUTAL right cross from Swan, and Serinda quickly following up with a BIG flurry that has Vergara looking ready to go!"

Cassie: "I can't believe she's STANDING after that first right let alone the follow ups!"

O'Dell: "Ropes might be holding her up at the moment, but Swan trying to correct that, throwing everything in the arsenal at the older brunette. Vergara taking an absolute HAMMERING here and the referee is not going to allow this to continue much longer. Still over a minute to go in the round..."

Tess: "Vergara tying up now, holding on. Trying to run some clock."

O'Dell: "Swan shoves off, but Sofia ties up again. Vergara doing everything she can to get to the bell, but Swan lands ANOTHER hard right hand! Sofia ties up again, holds on. Referee going to break them and Vergara covers up, leans back in the ropes, and manages to hang on to the bell. Shutout, Swan."

McCarthy: "But, the fight's even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Swan right forward to begin the fifth and this time Vergara can't stop her. Sofia being backed up with hard shot, attempting a fighting retreat, but, it's a retreat nonetheless. Swan getting off lusty as the older fighter continues to look wobbly and the referee continues to watch closely..."

Tess: "He may have already waited too long to get in there, frankly..."

O'Dell: "Swan using that heavy left hand, the Front Street Jab, using it to move Sofia back toward the ropes. Sofia keeping the guard high gets it SPLIT BY A RIGHT HAND! Sofia's hands drop and SWAN SEND HER CRASHING TO THE CANVAS WITH A BOOMING LEFT HOOK!"

Cassie: "And, that's going to make the referee's job easy..."

O'Dell: "Vergara down on her left side. Swan to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. This is going to be a formality, because there is absolutely no way Vergara's getting up from that. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Vergara not moving at all and it's OVER and your winner by KO5 is 'The Hottest Player In The Game', Serinda Swan!"

McCarthy: "I say it all the time. Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Serinda Swan, and, Serinda, not the best of starts tonight..."

Serinda: "Oh, she hits a TON and everyone knows that. Just ask Hendricks. But, I've taken harder shots and shaken them off. Once I did that, it was just a matter of getting my own offense going."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Serinda: "Well, you know, this year is about me getting another shot at the lightweight gold. So, whatever gets me there, you know?"
