Cheryl Cole vs Emily Browning
(Lioness Club vs Downunder Boxing)
(24-5, 24 KO vs 1-4, 1 KO)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: "So, Tess Valmore says Emily will be CRYIN' at the end of our fight? I like that prediction!", a very confident Cheryl Cole sports a massive grin when talking to Erin Andrews before the fight. "Obviously that doesn't mean I like Tess Valmore, my boss says she's an evil twister! (laughs) But that's what Emily gets tonight! She'll be spitting her blood on the canvas, folks! Man, I really hope to hand her the Beatdown of the Year here! Wish me luck!"

The usual Geordie bragging goes up a notch this time and that could spell t-r-o-u-b-l-e for Emily Browning who remains stuck in FCBA's no man's land following a nasty defeat to Emma Roberts last fall. Her last win on this side of the pond dates back to September 2012 and the writing is very much on the wall for the former 'Sucker Punch' lead heroine.

Cheryl wants blood and refuses to touch gloves with the visibly unsettled Aussie fighter. Oh boy, this can get really ugly real quick!

Cheryl Cole wears a black bikini top, leopard print panties and blue gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Emily Browning wears a golden basque top, green hotpants and green gloves. Shoulder-lenght brown hair straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Cole flies out of the gate and wants to blow the younger girl away within seconds but eats a nasty cross hook instead as Emily doubles up with a close range jabbing rally that catches the singer on the chin. The Aussie actress probably realizes this is one of her last shots at a solid journeywoman career at the very least so she romps through the fellow brunette's high guard and that's something that leaves Chezza flat-footed during the opening round. She finds Emily's temples several times but lack pure strenght and can't shake the Aussie off while eating a swift gut-checking drive that reels her onto the ropes comes the final minute. Browning gets vocal as she torches the singer's midriff and Cole simply has to clinch her in order to prevent some early damage here.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second; Browning just refuses to back off and beats the older brunette for pace that throws the Lioness fight plan sideways. Cheryl's no stranger to a street-style brawl but she gets conquered by her own game here and eats clean punches on the nose that knock her head around in violent fashion. Ugh! Coach Eva Mendes looks worried that the Geordie stunner might soon leak blood because Emily really channels the facial surgery path and pounds the older brunette back to the ropes where she tries to slip down for more midsection pressure before Cole finally covers her off. However the Geordie tourist fails to escape the close range trap and lacks the big punch to come out on top from a feisty brawl that dominates the final stretch of the round. Ugh! So much for that beatdown idea, gurl! Chezza's look could kill half the East Coast and she seems to ignore Eva Mendes' advice as she stares at the Down Under entourage in the opposite corner.

Round 3:
Erin Andrews begins to wonder how long can Emily keep this high-octane stuff up but suddenly it's Cole who whacks the other girl around as she finally beats her for the initial tangle. She drives her hook straight into the right temple but it's the uppercut follow up on the chin that really stuffs the Aussie brunette up next. Ugh! Emily scowls as if her jaw got broken with that punch and soon she gets pummelled back to the ropes as Cheryl buries her under a proper Geordie barrage. The punches come thick and fast now and Browning's guard can't embrace 'em at all leading into a one-sided beating on the ropes with Cole screaming "Take that, c###!" once she half-spins her foe against the turnbuckle. The new-found aggression deserts the younger girl and she gets pounded into a standstill with the bell coming to her rescue at the last moment. However she displays a nasty swelling around the right eye and even Erin Andrews failed to notice that before during the wild Geordie assault.

Round 4:
Chezza takes extra pride in head-hunting the Aussie prey now and Emily's confidence goes down faster than Titanic early in the fourth... Downunder coach Nikki Visser can't do anything about it other than sending a fresh Browning clone and the swelling over the right eye only gets bigger as Cheryl targets it on purpose. Emily's footwork isn't good enough to enable a mid-distance escape and she gets outworked and outmuscled in a gruesome close range drill that has Cole ripping through her cute face come the one minute mark. It's like the last furlong at Ascot when all bets are off and Emily gets her face royally bashed in to the point she wobbles backwards with eyes closed and doesn't even notice the final swing... Cheryl wanted some blood but she doesn't get her wish... still, she NAILS the hapless foe on the swollen eye one more time AND SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN on the canvas!!! Ugh! And that's all she wrote, folks! Many flyweights can recover from a random knockdown or two but the Geordie singer isn't your random FCBA understudy anymore! KO4 Cheryl Cole!!!

AFTER: Nikki Visser throws her hands in the air and simply hopes that Emily escapes fractured bones after that train wreck. The poor thing remains laid the heck out and Cole almost stomps her right in the belly before rebooting her thoughts at the last moment. Coach Mendes soon joins her in the ring and tells her to "save the energy for the BBU title fight next month" which triggers a quick laugh from the Geordie singer: "They're all going down one way or another. I still have sooo much to give both here and in the old country!" , "I know you do, Chez!", "Meanwhile just throw this dummy to the lions. She's as good as dead!", Cheryl points at the fallen Browning who remains unresponsive on the boards and Downunder coach Visser has simply run out of options how to silence this "annoying Geordie brat" when talking to Erin Andrews later on. "We deserve better than this! And we will get better! I don't care if Elle Mac has to personally drag these girls by the hair. We're not gonna rest on Miranda Kerr's laurels. We will NOT!"

Final result: Cheryl Cole def. Emily Browning KO4.
