Intro:
Two former champions now do battle in Vegas, Keira Knightley and Lacey Chabert look to show they can still be seen as dangerous in the FCBA going forwards now.
Keira is 33 years old; stands 5'7 and holds a record of 18 wins, 11 by knockout, 26 defeats and 2 draws, she is a former FCBA bantamweight champion.
Lacey is 35 years old; stands 5'3 and holds a record of 42 wins, 35 by knockout, 32 defeats with 3 draws, she is a former 2 time FCBA flyweight champion and 3 time former FCBA JMD champion.
Both women were asked for comments on the fight in the build up; with Keira telling the press "I've seen a lot of Lacey of course in our time at Mirage, sparred plenty and shared plenty of laughs I wish would have been able to continue, if not for the stable of course being shut down"
She continues by saying "this is business though, we both know we need a win in our careers to move on, while the loser will most likely be stuck being hunted down by those further down the rankings, so expect fireworks in that ring come go time"
Lacey shares the same sentiments "honestly I miss training with Keira; she could be funny and would push herself and people like me to be my best in the gym"
Then adds "but I won't lie and pretend I never thought about who was the best in that gym, I can tell you that no matter how much a family any stable is, you want to be the best and I believe I'll prove it was me"
Fight night; out comes Keira with her coach behind her, she is wearing a babu blue sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, with her blonde hair in a ponytail.
Stepping into the ring; Keira pumps her right fist into the air as she jogs to her corner, getting a big cheer as she goes till she begins warming up in her corner.
Now out comes Lacey with her coach; she is wearing a black sports bra, tight shorts, shoes and gloves, her brunette hair is braided.
Climbing into the ring; Lacey nodding with a smile at Keira, before heading to her corner and mounting the bottom ropes, waving and blowing kisses to the fans, before hopping down and warming up.
Coming to the ring centre; the girls get serious as they staredown, touching noses as the referee goes through his instructions.
Soon they step back and touch gloves, nodding at each other before they jog back to their corners ready to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
As the fighters come out; both look to take the ring centre as Lacey looks to close the gap early, with Keira using her extra reach to try and keep Lacey on the outside.
Keira controlling the early action, her jab keeping Lacey behind her guard as she looks to take the ring centre, making Lacey move around the ring.
Till the Brit tries to step in with a right cross and Lacey dips under it to land a right to the body, both trading inside as Lacey sticks to Keira to try and back her up.
Keira stepping back with Lacey giving chase; with the bigger fighter drilling a double jab into the top of Lacey's head to slow her down and get back to distance.
Chabert looks annoyed as she is stuck back on the outside, getting hit by the cleaner punches as she keeps trying to slip inside, with Knightley looking happy on the outside.
Late in the round; Lacey manages to parry a straight and lands one of her own to the abs of her opponent, following with two punches across the chin to push Keira back.
The fighters trade in tight till the bell rings not long after, Keira not getting excited, even after a strong opening round, she knows how dangerous Lacey is.
Who already has marks on her face; Lacey nodding to her coach as he tells her what she should be doing to close the gap between the fighters.
Round 2:
Keira again looks to take the ring centre and force Lacey around the outside, using her jab to keep her smaller opponent back.
Trying to counter act that; Lacey moves her upper body more, dodging punches till she slips under a straight and comes inside with an overhand right catching Keira across her face.
Lacey then targets the body as Keira is being driven back, forced to use her longer legs to step back and keep space, the Brit landing a straight to the top of the head of Chabert to knock her back.
But Lacey has the inside now and is dipping under punches from Keira to come back up and crack Knightley across her face to back her up towards the ropes.
Keira needing to nudge Lacey back with her left; landing a right to the top of Lacey's head and now she begins to press forwards to try and win the round.
Both set their feet and trade; Lacey lands an uppercut to knock Keira back onto her heels as she drives the defensive Keira onto the ropes.
Working the sides of Keira's body as the round comes to an end, Lacey turning and jogging back to her corner, her coach nods at her as her corner team is happy with her work this round.
While Keira has a small smile on her face with a knowing nod; getting cleaned up off her coach as her corner is still relaxed, not much complaints from them as Keira bangs her gloves together to fire herself up as she stands up.
Round 3:
Both fighters trade at the ring centre; Keira looking to claim the center but Lacey ducks under a left cross and drills a right into the body of the taller fighter.
That allows Lacey to push forwards a few steps as Keira retreats back; with Lacey banging in body punches till Keira uses her left to nudge her back and lands a right cross.
They begin fighting in tight toe to toe; sweat flying off them as they work the others body and off Lacey's head, Keira looking to push Lacey back with two cross punches to the top of her head.
Chabert having to step back as Knightley drills her to her face with two straight punches, forcing the American onto the ropes where she swings hooks around the guard of Lacey to the sides of her head, forcing her to clinch up.
The referee breaks them up and as Keira looks to push her advantage; Lacey slips under a left cross and lands an overhand right to knock her head around.
Now Keira finds herself driven onto the ropes; drilling away to the body of Keira to cause her to groan out loudly, with Keira fighting back leading to a fiery exchange between them till the bell rings to end the round.
Both fighters nod at each other as they head back to their corners; they know that this isn't going to easy as they sit down and get cleaned up by their corner teams.
They are both marked up and Kira's body was reddening up, staring across the ring at each other trying to get into each others head as they look for any inch to get to their advantage.
Round 4:
Lacey looks to early take control of the round by rushing Keira; making Knightley having to move around the outside of the ring.
Several punches catch Keira to her body as Lacey looks to pin her to the ropes, with Keira needing to nudge her back with a left to her face and lands a straight to the nose of Lacey.
As Lacey tries to come back forwards; Keira catches her with a double jab to the nose of her opponent, knocking Lacey's head back to keep her back.
Lacey then tries to dip down to get inside; Keira catches her with a right across her temple to stun her, Keira banging her fists into the face of Chabert to force her onto her heels.
The younger fighter driving Lacey onto the ropes, with Lacey having to cover up as blood drips from the nose of Lacey.
Keira stops Lacey getting off the ropes; Lacey tries to fight her way off the ropes, but Keira keeps stepping back and landing a stiff shot right onto the nose of Chabert to knock her back.
The final seconds of the round sees Keira start throwing more power punches as Lacey's guard starts to weaken, more punches starting to catch Lacey clean on her face as she is starting to get battered.
The bell rings with Keira marching back to her corner with her arms up in the air, feeling happy that she looks to have gained a foothold in the fight.
While Lacey glares at her and wipes blood from her nose, her coach needing to work on it to patch it up.
Round 5:
Keira looks to push the tempo straight away as she steps out her corner, Lacey looking to come back at her to even up the score, leading to an early exchange in close.
But Keira steps back to open up space to land an uppercut, LACEY STUMBLES BACK AND A RIGHT AND LEFT HOOK KNOCK LACEY DOWN TO HER SIDE!
The referee begins to count as Lacey blinks rapidly 1...2...3...4 shaking her head as she sits up, Lacey tries to recover 5...6...7 trying to use the ropes to pull herself up, she stumbles back to her backside and looks down at the canvas 8...9...10 leading to Lacey being counted out!

Winner Keira Knightley KO Round 5

After:
As the bell rings to end the fight; Keira rushes over to Lacey to check on her, the former stablemates still show solidarity even after the fight.
Lacey nods at Keira and admits "you got me good" as their coaches head over to check on them both, Keira heading to her corner so Lacey can be taken to hers by her coach.
Keira looking proud as she gets cleaned up and a quick drink, her coach telling her "great job babe, if you can keep this up then you'll be back in the top fights soon" with Keira smiling warmly at them.
Soon the fighters are brought to the ring centre for the final result announcement, Keira getting her hand raised to a loud cheer as Lacey doesn't look too happy, but does give her friend a hug before leaving the ring to let her have her moment in the ring.
Which Keira takes as she bows to each side of the ring, thanking the crowd for their support, before she hugs her coach to thank them.
Leaving the ring; it will be interesting to see whether Keira moves back up to bantamweight or tries to keep cutting the weight for flyweight in future.
For now she is happy to be back on the road and hoping she can push on with her career from now.
