Lucy: 29 YO, 5’2 (1.57 m), 26-24-0, (25 KO), since 2010, Pretty Little Punchers

Before: “My 96th fight? Really? I hadn’t noticed,” Sarah Carter hardly able to keep a straight face. “I am just determined to keep busy this year. After all, my dear stablemate Hayden is close to a 100, I wouldn’t want her to get too far ahead of me. As for fighting Lucy here. Well, she is rather small and some might think beating her up makes me a bully. I just think it shows she didn’t belong in the same ring as myself. Plus, humiliating one of those ungrateful Punchers is always something I rather enjoy. I expect to have a fun time with this fight. Yes, friends, Sarah Carter ‘The Ice Queen of Foxfire’ means to have fun. Though I doubt Lucy will feel the same.”

Sarah falls silent and Lucy looks up in mock surprise: “Oh, you’re done? I thought you were going to talk for at least another hour or two. These poor reporters and fans—having to listen you talk and talk and talk. I only wish you were the ‘cold, silent type’ again. She was a lot less boring to listen to.”

Sarah looks annoyed: “If anyone is boring it’s you and your typical PLP whining. Oh boo hoo. We don’t get any respect from Foxfire! We are so mistreated. Boo hoo!”

“Somebody needs to throw a pie in your snooty face. I would pay money to see that,” Lucy said.

“You are so amazingly juvenile. I cannot believe you’ve had 50 fights. You still sound like a teenager. Or is that from playing one so long on TV?” Sarah asked.

“Just give it up, Carter, I’m going to cut you down to size and make you suffer,” Lucy snapped. “Your arrogant Foxfire ways deserve to be taken down a peg.”

“And your insufferable PLP ways deserve some punishment too! You are going down, Li’l Lucy and don’t say you weren’t warned!” Lucy cried and stormed off the stage where she was met by PLP communications director Autumn Reeser. The two then disappeared from view.

“Oh drat,” Sarah told the reporters, “I was all set for at least a slap-fight or good hair-pulling. Guess Lucy knows better than to—“

Lucy suddenly slipped through the curtains behind Sarah Carter and tapped her on the shoulder. Sarah turned. Too late she realized Lucy was holding a cream pie. SPLATTTT!!! Lucy let Sarah have it right in the face with what turned out to a chocolate cream pie to be exact. Sarah just stood there and slowly wiped the chocolate filling and cream from her eyes.

“You realize, of course, this means WAR!” Sarah said in a low, deadly voice.

“You’re darn right it’s WAR,” Lucy said suddenly gone back behind the curtains in a disappearing act that might have impressed an actual magician.

Beth Harnois the Foxfire Communications Director rushed out with a towel and told Sarah: “Don’t worry, Sarah, she’ll pay for this! So will Autumn Reeser, I saw her take that pie from the refreshment cart. I just couldn’t get here in time.”

“Darn right they will!” Sarah Carter muttered as she walked off the stage wiping her face as best as she could,

It was not unusual for a Foxfire vs PLP bout to gain attention. Both organizations had active and very loyal fan bases on social media. The Pie Incident, as it quickly became known, was sized on by these groups but spread outward via social media so by the night of there was great anticipation for the fight. The arena crowd was on its feet as the two opponents were inbtroduced. Sarah Carter appeared first with Beth Harnois and Foxfire trainer Virginia Madsen. She was wearing a royal blue bikini with matching gloves and boots. Her hair was pulled back in a simple ponytail. Then came Lucy Hale in a flame red bikini with matching boots and gloves, Her bobbed her was loose, but wetted down. Lucy was accompanied by Autumn Reeser and PLP trainer Nia Peeples. The ring instructions were tense with much jostling and bumping, The referee had his hands full keeping order, but finally the fighters were dispatched to their corners. They stood there, jogging in place, clearly anxious to go. Then the bell rang.

R1: The smaller Lucy proved adept at ducking under Sarah’s initial punches and smacking shots off the blonde’s jaw before ducking back ahead of Sarah’s counters. Sarah was scowling and attempted to go on the attack herself, but again Lucy was able to dodge her taller opponent. Sarah found herself chasing Lucy around the ring. Lucy was moving around quite nicely and every so often she would suddenly stop to exchange quick jabs with an off-balance Sarah. Sarah was clearly frustrated and started taking wild swings at Lucy. Lucy did get banged hard upside the head once or twice, but most of these shots were easy for her to dodge. She finished up the round with a wide win on points. Lucy walked back to her counter smiling happily. Sarah stalked back to her corner with a scowl on her face.

During the break Virginia Madsen was waging her finger in Sarah’s face and nearby ringsiders thought they could hear the trainer say: “Cool down! She’s making you sloppy!” Sarah was seen to nod and her face became its usual “Ice Queen: impassive.

R2: Lucy was back with the hit-and-run attacks, but Sarah was ready for them now. Each move forward by Lucy was met with jolting, accurate jabs that disrupted the attacks. When Lucy retreated, Sarah was staying close enough to score with counters to the head and the more Lucy kept coming forward, the more head shots she was taking. As the round crossed its midway point, Lucy was losing interest in attacking and covering up. Sarah now moved to the offensive and unleashed a series of deep, digging hooks to the belly. Lucy went up on her toes with a gurgle as she jackknifed forward. In that instant, Sarah was in a crouch with her right hand low and now she shot up, The right came crashing upwards into Lucy’s chin. The crowd gasped as Lucy was sent flying back and landed like a ragdoll in a heap on the canvas. Lucy’s arms were over her head which was rocking from side to side while her legs churned in a useless bicycle. Sarah wasted no time in scampering to the neutral corner. The referee was there, counting and Lucy’s fluttered open. She seemed to realize her plight and tried to push herself up, but as she reached a sitting position she heard the fatal words:

“NINE!...TEN!...YER OUT!”

THE WINNER: SARAH CARTER OF FOXFIRE BOXING HAD DEFEATED LUCY HALE OF THE PRETTY LITTLE PUNCHERS BY KNOCKOUT IN ROUND !

Lucy spit out her mouthpiece and let out a wail of despair: “NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Sarah Carter dropped her “Ice Queen” image and screamed: “YESSSSSSS!!!!!”

The crowd was stunned by the suddenness of the victory, but then burst into cheers. Sarah went over to her corner to have her gloves removed by Virginia Madsen. All the while she was watching as a distraught Lucy Hale was brought to her own stool for a quick check by Nia Peeples. Autumn Reeser seemed to be standing guard, but then Beth Harnois climbed into the ring and went over to start arguing with the Puncher spokesperson. Then Nia Peeples came over join the argument,

Suddenly Sarah Carter was across the ring and yanked Lucy off the stool. Then Sarah sat in the stool and bent the stunned Lucy over her knees. Then she twisted Lucy’s flame red bikini bottoms into a bunch to bare her buns and STARTED SPANKING! Then Beth Harnois smacked Nia and Autumn’s heads together so that they were momentarily dazed. That gave Virginia Madsen the chance to trot across the ring to help Beth keep Nia and Autumn from going to the shrieking Lucy’s assistance. This proved to be quite a grappling match with hair pulling, face slaps and rending of tops. It was a fierce struggle, but Beth and Virginia managed to hold off Autumn and Nia,

Meanwhile, Sarah had been spanking away until she had Lucy’s bottom nearly as red as her bikini. (This drew some indignant boos from PLP fans, but many more seemed to prefer cheering Sarah on.), Soon enough, Lucy’s shrieks faded to moans mixed with sobs and finally she was lying there limply across Sarah’s lap. A smiling Sarah then carried Lucy to midring and hung her over the ropes and posed next to Lucy’s reddened buns.

Suddenly there was a roar from the crowd. Punchers Ashley Benson, Sasha Pieterse and Troian Bellisario were racing to the rescue from the dressing area. Sarah could see them and shouted a warning to Beth and Virginia. The Foxfire pair then banged Nia and Autumn’s heads together so that they slumped to the canvas in a daze. Beth and Virginia next joined Sarah in a rapid withdrawal from the ring. The PLP rescue party had to content themselves with reviving Nia and Autumn while getting Lucy off the ropes.

“WE’LL GET YOU BYTCHES FOR THIS!” Troian shouted just as the Foxfire party disappeared into the arena backstage. She then joined her stable sisters in exiting the ring with as much dignity as they could. PLP fans applauded, but unkind Foxfire supporters hooted and jeered.

That was certainly a post-fight for the highlight reels, but it shouldn’t distract from a very convincing win by Sarah Carter. It’s true that Lucy has struggled too of late, but she doesn’t usually suffer such a sudden early round KO. If nothing else, the win shows Sarah Carter still has punch and future opponents would be well advised to keep pastries where they belong and not try to use them as a weapon against Ms. Carter. As for Lucy, this had to be a humiliating experience, but she’s had tough times before. Her next fight should be crucial in getting the ship righted. We shall see if she can do that.
