Mila Kunis versus Emma Watson

Mila:
(35, 5’3, 23:24:1 FCBA, HISC)

Emma:
(27, 5’6, 18:19 FCBA, VIXENs)

BEFORE:
Mila looking very confident as she heads into this fight. Even though coming off a series of losses, she’s stretched out on the sofa for her pre-fight interview with a big grin on her face.

“If anyone’s keeping score, by the way, I’m already two-zero against Emma,” the HISC starlet holding up both fingers for emphasis. “She couldn’t take me down in the ring, and she SURE as hell couldn’t in our apartment match. What makes her think that tonight’s any different? Go home to Great Britain, honey. You’re playing with the big girls now…”

Emma in separate dressing room for the pre-fight interview, for obvious reasons, but watching quietly as her rival spews words from her ruby lips on a hastily-mounted television screen. She dismisses them with that trademark smirk of her own, before replying:

“If I recall... our apartment scuffle ended in a draw. As for our little dance in the ring…” Emma pauses, looking like she’s trying to swallow hard. “I’d admit she won that time. But this time, I’m the better fighter. And I’m gonna prove it to her.”

Pyrotechnics lighting the stage and loud rock music in the background: quintessential American entrance for Ms Kunis as the first one to enter the arena. She’s dressed in a pair of red bra and panties, donning black gloves and brown hair tied neatly into a battle bun. Emma next to enter, and the atmosphere changes immediately by contrast: low blue glow in the air, followed by spirited classical music marking her personality. It’s no wonder the arena is packed tonight for this highly anticipated rematch between two different styles of competitors.

Referee preps them both in the center of the ring. Neither girl is saying a word to each other now, just meeting steady glares. Emma’s three-inch height advantage supposed to have come in handy previously, but alas, it was Mila’s stamina and bulkier frame that won the day. Let’s see if things will change tonight. HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Mila playing the aggressor role early, as expected. She showed plenty of spunk in her most recent matches, let alone those against Emma herself back in the day, coming forward and getting in her opponent’s face to pressure them into submission. Regardless of having won twice in a row now, Mila still has a bone to pick with the Brit for challenging her supremacy, pestering her guard early with jabs galore. Thankfully, Watson well and prepared for this eventuality, trying her best to manage the aggression with some expert footwork and counter shots to the face as well. For now, though, each parry and SNAP back only seem to enrage Mila further, and Kunis growling as she picks up the pace in the last minute, scoring punches to Emma’s nose and body, forcing her to retreat and reevaluate her strategy this early in the fight. In Kunis’ mind, she’s won before she even began, and this round no exception, confidently shaking her fist in Emma’s direction when the bell rings, before sauntering back to corner elated. One thing’s accurate: Emma’s words not proven true in this opening round. How will she deal with Kunis in the rest of the fight?

ROUND 2:
THERE we go with some aggression from the Brit as well, as she meets Mila step for step forward in the opening seconds of the second! Mila initially shocked as a one-two punch combo lands on her nostrils and lips, before she swings back into Watson’s arms with force, almost sending her off balance from the impact. Mila’s power serving her well in the past, having floored Watson by the end of their first fight, but now she’s dealing with a different beast: part offensive, part defensive, part in between, as Emma retreating just at the same time Mila decides to rush in at her. It’s a good strategy from the newest Vixen as she plays with her prey, adapting to her fighting style on a round-by-round basis. Mila hitting at empty air for a good minute or so, chasing the Brit and thinking that all she needs to do is land one big punch to her temple. Emma on the other hand punching back at her steadily, biding her time with jabs sailing inwards at a constant pace, racking up points for herself when the bell finally rings. A heaving Mila wondering to herself how things turned for the worse so suddenly, while it’s Emma’s turn to grin widely, that innocent satisfaction telling us everything we need to know about the outcome of this round.

ROUND 3:
Start of the third and both ladies make a beeline for one another - both of them want the win here bad, in order to cement a lead for themselves. Mila however catching on to her opponent’s tactics, punching and swinging at her a little less often. Emma’s counter-fighting strategy nulled as a result, forcing her to come forward a little more often in order to engage. Result is both girls taking hits and swings at each other for the majority of the round, with both of them landing some as well. Emma hitting some choice straight hands into the chin, knocking Mila’s head backwards and sideways for early, whereas Mila going low and after Emma’s vulnerable tummy. She knows that was her weak spot the last time they tangled, and she’s right, when another low uppercut bangs into the Brit’s midsection and stuns her to the spot. Still, the bell rings too soon, Emma already staggering backwards, covering her midsection, out of the way of follow-up hooks. Mila denied a knockdown this round, but can count her lucky stars that she took the round back with some smart fighting on her part.

ROUND 4:
Some equal offense from both ladies in the fourth, but Emma showing her chops by surging ahead early, stunning Mila on the nose when she least expects it with a quick jab flurry. Kunis gasping from the pain shooting up to her brain, thrown off the blood scent almost immediately. Instead, she’s tasting her own iron as Emma cuts her lip with more lightning jabs at the face. Drawing first blood, literally, has Watson energised further. Brit goes on the offensive, backing Mila backwards with combination of jabs and hooks, some piercing her own belly with painful grunts from lips. Kunis manages to stand firm, however in the last minute, slams a straight left and scoring on Watson’s cheek, then a right hook almost catches her clean on the side of face, if she hadn’t weaved backwards at the last moment. Round ends with Mila still in shambles, both mind and spirit broken down bit by bit as Watson manages to surprisingly take the lead in this contest.

ROUND 5:
Gone are the days of Watson being a one-trick pony, only capable of defensive fighting. However, it’s still left to be seen that no one in their right mind would label her as a pure brawler, either. Mila proving this in the fifth round, as Emma tries to assert her lead but gets shoved to the side HARD by a big swing into her forearms. If she ain’t careful here, she might just get blown off her feet! Watson trying to rally but has to fight off more punches towards her head and body, then Kunis pressing her advantage with more lunging hooks, determined to end her for good. Kunis looks like an enraged matador swinging for the fences, not caring if they’re having any effect. Perhaps the impact is psychological, with Watson forced back on the defensive and just unable to assert her own dominance. Wild charge paying off in the final minute, catching the Brit on the body with two more consecutive hooks into her side. She’s stunned, but smartly covers up, preventing more damage from being inflicted when the bell rings soon after. Kunis blasting ahead in what's quickly becoming a back-and-forth slugfest.

ROUND 6:
We’ve passed the halfway mark and both ladies still look ill-possessed to keep going! Watson cautious behind her gloves, circling and jabbing, trying to keep the bull at bay. Mila no such qualms, however, barrel-rushing straight for her enemy like a bowling ball traveling at high speeds, that elusive strike in her sights. Emma scooting away easily, however, leaving Mila eating a sharp blow to the face each time she rushes forward, the American only hitting at thin air where Emma was a second ago, her age and stamina beginning to catch up with her. Mila slowing down even more when Watson sides-steps to the side at last moment, before burying a left right combo into her body and side, bending her over and clutching at her middle. Watson going in for kill, crowding close instead of retreating. She WAILS AWAY at the open head, before a strapping right hook into the face SENDS Mila down for the count! KNOCKDOWN for Ms Watson!

Mila left gasping and wheezing on all fours, body trembling as she attempts to make sense of what just happened to her. She looks dazed and concussed though, shaking her head as though trying to focus on the ropes that are her salvation if she manages to hold onto them for a second. Referee reaches the count of 6, however, and she’s barely made it off her knees… He counts out her out all the way to TEN, waves this fight OVER!

Official Decision: Emma Watson defeats Mila Kunis via KO6!

AFTER:
Emma with a stunning victory over a former nemesis, who having twice beaten her before is now the one lying flat on her back! Watson throwing her hands up to the cheers of the crowd, expressing lots of relief to reporters later.

“It’s a bittersweet win for me… I knew that I could beat Mila all along, but I’m left wondering why I couldn’t beat her the first two times round. No matter. It’s a new age for me, I’m hoping. It would be lovely to continue winning like this.”

Mila slightly teary-eyed as she’s hounded by reporters later on as well.

“I honestly thought I had her early on in the fight,” Mila saying with a shake of the head, her mascara-streaked face now smeared in spots. “She’s a different fighter. That's my only explanation. She was slippery this time round. But I have no doubt that I would STILL kick her ass in the confines of an apartment. And so f*cking what, Watson. You won ONE match! I’m still two up, and I’m *always* gonna be better than you!”

Kunis drawing the line in the sand there, and throwing down the gauntlet for a possible best of three in the ring. Could this be the beginning of another budding rivalry?
