Emma: 27 YO,5’2 (1.57 m), 9-5-0, 9 KO since 2014, The Dollhouse

Before: “Yes, this will be my 97th fight. I am fresh from knocking out Elizabeth Henstridge and Lucy Hale. Now I am, looking around for another ‘hot young fighter’ to bring down to Earth—or should I say the canvas.” (Sarah chuckles at her own joke. Emma Roberts rolls her eyes). “Oh come on, Emma, loosen up, you should feel honored to help me into the Hall of Fame.”

Emma Roberts gives Sarah a sour look: “If you think I am some kind of jobber you can walk over on your way to the ‘Hall of Has-Beens’ you are going to very sorry. I’m hot because I am beating down opponent after opponent.”

“What about Emma Watson?” Sarah sniped.

“She was lucky. I’ll get for that. No way does some aging old timer take me down! When it comes to my opponents I don’t much respect my elders and that goes for you, too.” Emma said bluntly,

“You aren’t much on tact, are you?” Sarah commented.

“Nope,” Emma said.

“I knew there was something I liked about you,” Sarah said and Emma stared at her. Sarah then smiled. “Of course, I still intend to knock your arrogant block off, but I’ve been accused of being arrogant, too. Losing has never changed. It doesn’t need to change you.”

“Thanks—I think,” Emma says sounding more a little puzzled.

Sarah and Emma are in the press tent. Rather than beach wraps, they are wearing tee shirts with FOXFIRE and THE DOLLHOUSE logos across the front. As they then move towards the ring, Sarah is accompanied by trainer Virginia Madsen with teammates Hayden Panettiere and Dani Fishel. Emma has Carmen Electra as her trainer today with teammates Hayley Williams and Jessica Chastain. As they enter the ring, Sarah and Emma pull off their tee shirts. Sarah is in a bright blue bikini with matching gloves. Her hair is in double pigtails. Emma is wearing a white bikini top with pink bikini bottoms (her usual fighting colors) with pink gloves and white laces. Her hair in a simple ponytail. Ring instructions go quickly and the fighters are shortly in their corner. The bell rings.

R1: Sarah Carter is smoothly across the sand and swatting Emma Roberts to the jaw to open the fight. Emma tries to duck under the head shots and bring her answering counters to into Sarah’s chin. Sarah circling, reversing, circling, has Emma confused and off-balance. Sarah then takes advantage by striking at Emma’s head and then to the smaller woman’s body. Emma looking hard pressed falls back, but Sarah keeping up the pressure all the way to the bell. Emma looking a bit dazed as she trudges back to her corner. Sarah allows herself a grim smile, She knows she’s won this round wide.

R2: Emma gets a talking-to from Carmen Electra. It must have been “don’t let Carter dominate you” because Emma comes out fighting. Emma shows she can move well on the sand too and gets in the first shot, a driving right to the mouth that knocks Sarah’s back on her heels and splits her lower lip. Emma manages a couple of solid shots to the cheekbones and jaws before Sarah gets her gloves up around her face. Emma simply shifts to a barrage of hooks and crosses into Sarah’s exposed belly. Sarah falling back, hunched up and trying to jab Emma back, but Emma in so close that it is awkward for Sarah to get in good counters. Sarah needs some distance from Emma, but Emma’s determined to fight in Sarah’s trunks and keep her locked up, Sarah finally clinching to buy herself some space, but respites don’t last long as Emma put on the pressure again each time. Bell rings and Emma steps back looking pleased with herself. Now Sarah’s the one looking dazed as she trudges back to her corner. Emma Roberts has won this round wide.

R3: Sarah responds to Emma’s aggression with aggression of her own this round. Both fighters quick to get to mid ring, but Sarah catches Emmafirst with a clouting hook deep in the gut. Emma doubling up with a gasp and Sarah knocks Emma’s head from side to side with follow-up rights and lefts. Now it is Emma trying to get some distance and Sarah keeping up the punching pressure as she drives forward. Emma makes a stand, digging her feet in and catching Sarah on the chin with a solid uppercut, Emma knocked back, recovers and then comes back at Emma. Now the two of them are pumping leather into each other at close range. Sarah now able to move her arms as well as Emma. Sarah really putting on the pressure making the smaller Emma’s body shudder under the blows, Emma giving ground, but resisting stubbornly, Finally Sarah steps back and cracks Emma across the jaw. Emma reels away, but time runs out before Sarah can follow up. Judges give to Sarah Carter by a close margin.

R4: That last shot to the jaw must have really rung Emma Roberts’ bell. She is slumped on her stool for the break and despite the best efforts of the Dollhouse corner crew, she is sluggish coming out this round. Sarah Carter, on the other hand, is all fired up and comes at Emma punching hard. Emma gets stuffed hard in the face, bloodying her nose and then a crunching right to the chin sends her stumbling back. Sarah quick to pursue and try to keep up the pressure. Emma able to show some scrambling ability in keeping away from Sarah long enough to get a decent jab going. The jab blocks Sarah at first, but the determined veteran is back to circling, reversing and keeping Emma on the wrong foot. Emma’s getting badly lumped up and she’s getting swabbed to the body, but the Dollhouse fighter is taking it and staying on her feet despite the shelling. Rounds ends with Sarah looking annoyed to find Emma still standing at smiling defiantly through her busted up face. Judges rule in Sarah’s favor as she winds the round wide.

R5: Sarah more determined than ever to crush Emma and goes right at her close as soon as she can get to her at the bell. Emma snarling in fresh defiance as she meets Sarah’s body banging with hard punching to the belly and breasts. Sarah trying to ignore the blows, but Emma is getting her feet planted in the sand and driving her late punches harder than ever. Sarah starting to wilt as she tilts forward and Emma finishes with fast clipping blows to the chin that shake Sarah’s legs. Sarah falling back, her face covered as she doubles up. Time runs out on the round. Sarah looking pale and shaky as she heads for her corner. Emma pounding her gloves together and looking at Sarah go with a shark-like hunger in her eyes.

R6: Sarah worked on by the Foxfire corner, but she does not look good coming out for this round. Emma can see it too and goes right back to hammering Sarah’s torso. Sarah trying to jab Emma back, but can’t seem to land hard enough to do the job. Sensing weakness, Emma drives her punches harder and she doubles Sarah up with a vicious gut buster. As Sarah’s head comes forward, her chin is just hanging there and Emma unloads with a blockbuster of a right uppercut. SARAH CARTER COLLAPSES IN A HEAP!. Sarah huddled up on the sand groaning and twitching, Emma trots to the neutral corner. Referee on the scene and counts. Sarah somehow gets to all fours and looks up at the referee with a forlorn expression. Then she topples over onto her side and lies there as the count comntinues:

“EIGHT!....NINE!...TEN! YOU’RE OUT!”

THE WINNER EMMA ROBERTS OF THE DOLLHOUSE DEFEATS SARAH CARTER OF FOXFIRE KO7!

After: Carmen Electra, Hayley Williams and Jessica Chastain crowd around Emma Roberts to congratulate the banged up, but victorious fighter. Meanwhile Lucy Hale and Dani Fishel help Virginia Madsen get Sarah Carter back to her stool. Sarah returns to her senses and finds she has lost the fight. Sarah trying to maintain her usual “Ice Queen” façade, but tears are coming down her cheeks.

“Aw, I made Sarah Carter cry. Now that’s a memory I’ll cherish forever,” says a smirking Emma Roberts.

“You want something, Roberts?” Hayden asks sharply.

“Oh, just the chance to say I walked Sarah Carter. How about it Future Hall of Famer (I know you’ll find enough jobbers to eventually get in)?” Emma says mockingly.

“Get lost Roberts!” Dani Fishel orders.

“No, no,” Sarah Carter says, “the twerp earned it. I turned her face into a Halloween mask and still couldn’t beat her. She has this coming.”

“Hey, you’re no pageant princess yourself,” Emma retorts, she helps Sarah to her feet and slides a supportive arm around the blonde’s waist. “You were hard to put down. I will admit that.”

“Yeah, but you did. You were tougher than I thought,” Sarah admits.

They set off around the ring. It’s something on an oddity. Sarah and Emma seen chatting. Sarah lets Emma do the waving, but she does nod and smile when fans shout encouragement. When they are back at the Foxfire corner the two shake hands. Fans a bit bemused at this but give the sporting gesture a round of approving cheers and applause.

Emma Roberts showing good stuff in taking down hard-hitting veteran Sarah Carter. Sarah worked Emma over, but Emma survived and put Sarah on the sand in the 7th. Disappointing loss for Carter, but she’s never been one to mope for long. We expect her back on her quest for a successful finale to her first 100 fights. She’s still got 3 more to go and it should be exciting to see how those fights turn out., Meanwhile Emma Roberts looks primed for rising in the Flyweight ranks as she seems ready for more quality opponents.
