BEFORE: There's just no stopping Kate Beckinsale these days, the Chiswick cougar was dismissed as semi-retired before a somewhat unexpected stoppage of Jessica Alba on the "Me Too, Bytch" charity event sprung her back to life. The Empire brunette has booked a shot at Katheryn Winnick on the upcoming Doll Ball already but first she intends to rain on Nicole Scherzinger's Hawaiian parade as tonight's boxing on the beach episode is held in the picturesque Waimea Bay landscape.

Ever since stopping Laura Vandervoort on the very same beach back in 2015 Nicole believes she can extend her boxing career in this particular genre but neither Eliza Dushku nor Ashley Greene seemed to play by the singer's rules and suddenly the Beckinsale contest looms as a matter of pride rather than a simple ranking cougar dispute against a wiley veteran who's on her way out of the league. Kate isn't going anywhere and she lets all the local fans know it when she kicks sand at Nicole's shins instead of touching gloves with her during the introductions.

Kate Beckinsale wears a red bikini top, white hotpants and white gloves. Dark brown hair tied in a loose bun at the back of her head. Nicole Scherzinger wears a black bikini top, golden hotpants and matching golden gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Both cougars give each other no quarter in the early stages but Nicole's execution remains supreme through a slugging exchange and she clips Kate's chin repeatedly which forces the older woman into a quick retreat when she simply can't match this impressive tempo. Nicole keeps stalking her thereafter but only lands single punches on target as Kate's high guard does its job. However the English brunette lacks a proper offensive gear and her counter-punching efforts make little impression on the local favorite. Nicole barks in anger when she bounces off the guard repeatedly but still drives Beckinsale into the ropes where she finally switches downstairs to drill the exposed tummy which makes Kate yelp in pain during the final stretch.

Round 2:
More aggression from Scherzinger who outworks Beckinsale in close range but only single punches connect with the Brit's face and she does a better job in response wobbling the Hawaiian stunner with a left hook followed by a quick shot on the breasts. Nicole refuses to back off from the close range drill and seemingly wants to bury Kate under as many punches as possible but she fails to really hurt the older brunette and eats a great deal of overhands herself which threatens to derail the gung-ho approach if she's not careful enough. Nicky runs into a wall in the final minute and Kate harpoons her to the body instead; she avoids getting trapped on the ropes and reels the Hawaiian back to the opposite side of the ring where she delivers more midriff assault that cripples Scherzinger much to the crowd's chagrin.

Round 3:
Nicole's visibly upset over that poor finish in the previous round but she keeps misfiring over the top and her dancer legs struggle to match the English cougar which is another surprise. Beckinsale has seen it all around the league and weathers the Hawaiian storm in mid-range; she slides in with a one-off punch but clearly gambles on Nicky gassing out here and she ignores the jeers from the audience as the younger brunette still can't catch her with a decent combo. Frustration grows in the LCA camp but Kate doesn't fall for all the taunting and she's the one displaying a big grin on her face at the bell!

Round 4:
Another wild charge from Scherzinger allows her to finally trap Beckinsale in close range but the English cougar almost tripped over a hole in the sand in the process which made the singer's job that little easier. Whatever the case, she has Kate where she wants her and tears into her jugs without previous warning while dropping low to expose the fellow brunette's defense wholesale. Kate gets caught out by the sudden switch and trips over her own feet again as she tries to establish mid-range comfort; Nicole bursts through her rack and follows through on the jaw before a left hook NAILS Beckinsale on the ear and wobbles her into a quick uppercut on the jaw... DOWN GOES KATE!!! The Chiswick cougar drops face-first into the sand and the Waimea Bay crowd errupts in joy! Nicky shakes her glove in delight but her opponent is back upright at six and spits sand at the singer which triggers a wild slugging dispute in the closing seconds. Scherzinger eats a nasty hook across her nose that sinks her on the spot and that allows Kate to drop back and survive the Hawaiian rally alas she's not exactly smiling anymore as the crowd chants Nicole's name during the break.

Round 5:
Nicky hasn't been this aggressive since she left Asylum Arena according to some pundits but Kate responds in equally ruthless fashion and both women trade nasty head shots during the opening minute which is bound to affect their physical shape before too long. Sure enough, Nicole needs a breather just after the one minute mark already and while Kate would really like to score a knockdown on her own, she's not exactly worried to see her nemesis gassing out here. Both cougars wrestle each other around the ring which only results in more holes being created in the sand but neither of them has enough strenght to bump the other one off until the ref finally separates the stalemate. Nicole's happy to sit on the scorecards and given the home court advanatge she might be up by four points now; Beckinsale calmly adjusts her bikini top instead and we reach half-distance with the Chiswick cougar in clear need of a Plan B.

Round 6:
Scherzinger lets Beckinsale come forward and get it, she's build a solid lead on the cards by now and Kate hasn't run this fight from the front at all so she's supposed to really struggle when she finally does. However Nicole's been guilty of some horrible defense before that almost cost her a spot on the LCA roster before Eva Mendes decided to retire first. Nicky's almost too arrogant when Kate leaps at her and the Muhammad Ali gloves down stance backfires immediately when the English cougar stuns her with a vicious cross on the jaw! She adds another hook from the right that slams into the singer's ear and suddenly she wobbles forward to meet the strike number three... Beckinsale NAILS her on the jaw so hard the gumshield flies off into the sand AND NICOLE'S LEGS CRUMBLE FROM UNDERNEATH HER to silence the Waimea Bay audience in a blink of an eye!!! Uh-oh!!! What the ### was that? Nicky barely makes it onto all fours at five and keeps moaning her heart out... she makes a gallant recovery at eight but can hardly hold back the tears and grabs her jaw like she's been hit by a brick rather than a Beckinsale punch... Not this glass jaw again? The ref wants to save the Hawaiian pride but Nicky slumps forward and begins to mumble something about seeing double so this one is all over, folks!!! Shocking TKO6 Kate Beckinsale in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: No joy for the partisan crowd here tonight as Nicole has to be escorted back to her corner and evaluated for a potential jaw injury but my oh my, that's straight out of Tess Valmore's trophy room when she dismissed the Hawaiian singer as the "worst flyweight in the FCBA". When Scherzinger gets properly whacked on that jaw, sometimes it's just painful even to watch. And the worst part is, Kate hasn't been accused of having such a devastating power at her disposal before! That's more than enough to catch Kathryn Winnick's attention if The Dollhouse entourage wants to avoid a similar upset on home court next week! The Chiswick cougar then adds further insult to Hawaiian injury by claiming that Winnick is indeed the better fight than Scherzinger and that was never in doubt to begin with. The days of Nicole's reign as the unofficial Queen of the Beach might well be over now...
