BEFORE:

Katheryn Winnick is the first one to take the ramp, confidently walking down the with a sexy smile on her face, clad in her traditional white\black sports bra and shorts and white\black boxing gloves. Well, being on a three-fight winning streak would certainly do much for your confidence, and tonight, she faces another tough challenge.
“Alice is a… very dangerous opponent, to say the least,” Winnick saying with some hesitation in her voice later on by ringside. “She’s bigger than me, she’s strong, and she’s had some really impressive results, including beating Chloe Bennett – one of the best Bantams around - and KO-ing Jessica Alba after only three rounds just a month ago. And that’s exactly why I challenged her. I’m not interested in easy fights, and I know it’s going to be one hell of a battle, but I know I can beat her, and I will.”

After a significant victory over Jessica Alba last month, Alice Eve looks set to re-conquer her perch as the British flavour-of-the-month. She’s smiling cockily as she enters the arena, strutting towards the ring in a classy black one piece swimsuit and black and gold boxing gloves. When asked about her newest obstacle in the ring, there’s a look on her face that already dismisses Winnick’s chances winning here tonight…

“Yes, she’s totally right. I am *indeed* dangerous. You just don’t know how much yet, Katheryn love. But you will very soon… I promise. I gladly accepted her challenge because I’ve beaten younger and better opponents before, and following my win against Alba with taking Winnick down a peg would be pretty f*cking satisfying, if you ask me.”

Katheryn not liking those comments one bit of course, despite her earlier overture to the Brit, a frown on her face now clear and present. Later on, both blondes make final preparations in their respective corners. Regardless of how they feel about each other, this blonde vs blonde matchup is surely gonna turn some heads! Referee waves his hand and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Gonna be an interesting match, this one, with two brawlers coming in to play. Alice dominated Alba in her last fight, and she hopes to repeat the same success with some fast footwork forward in Kath’s direction. Winnick however getting more comfortable in her role as defensive fighter, parrying and blocking those incoming jabs quite nicely for the first minute, but barely fighting back with punches of her own just yet. This gives Alice all the encouragement she needs to continue with her wanton aggression, towards the middle mark actually managing to score a couple to Winnick’s body, before stunning her with enough force to the chin that Kath circles back and resets at a distance. She got careless right there, sullying an otherwise perfect round of textbook defensive skills. Still, when the bell rings, it’s Alice’s round through and through, with the Brit’s efforts paying off for now.

ROUND 2:
Katheryn begins to assert herself in the second, taking a deep breath before striding forward ready to meet Alice’s aggression head on. This time, a flash of hands exchanged in the middle of the ring early, but Alice stunned when her opponent doesn’t retreat at the first sign of trouble, gets rocked to the face with a hook, then her tummy pounded on her with another flurry of shots. Grunting, the Brit unwilling to release her bite, swings back and batters Kath on her guard before she retreats to safety, but she can’t block all those incoming shots for long. Winnick backtracking again, but this time, it’s deliberate and strategic, continuing to pound on Alice’s face each step of the way. Alice stubbornly following after, doesn’t realise she’s still taking damage by the bucketful. By the end of the three minutes, Eve left panting, the throbbing pain on her face finally manifesting itself as she winces back to corner. Kath redeems herself this round by a small margin, as she begins to get used to the competition.

ROUND 3:
More of the same from the previous, with Kath doing well for herself early on. Alice has power behind those lunging hooks, sure, but only if they manage to land… Katheryn must be thanking her lucky stars that her opponent is only intent on getting in close to throwdown, a one-sided approach that’s easy to avoid. What happens when she meets someone like Winnick, who wants to exploit exactly that? Katheryn landing an insane number of punches into Eve’s cheek, timing her shots after Alice swings a big one in her direction. Second minute and Kath even snags a couple to the tummy, finally appearing to halt Alice’s momentum with loud grunts and bulging eyes. Alice’s corner must be slapping their foreheads in disbelief as they watch their ‘champ-destroyer’ destroy herself here. But at least Alice pauses to listen to the shouts in the final 60 seconds, albeit because she’s no choice but to recuperate from all the abuse she’s suffered here. Kath smiling behind her own gloves, knows she’s taken a great round for herself.

ROUND 4:
That all comes to a screeching halt when Alice decides to stay put in her own corner in the fourth. What gives? Kath raising an eyebrow even after some tentative jabbing her way, in an 180 degree turnabout in strategy here for the other blonde. The Doll has to be careful not to fall for any shenanigans, and she rightly keeps her distance, yet at the same time can’t resist the opportunity to bust a stationary target. Alice defending well, however, taking plenty of shots on her defences instead of her face, and on more than one occasion catching Kath back on her own guard with a big hook that blasts her right back. Like we said, if she only managed to settle down and focus, Alice could very well be championship material one day. Last minute and Alice awakens proper, emboldened when another left of hers catches Katheryn unawares on her side, stunning her momentarily. Alice rushing in to mop up, hounding the head with more punches, before ending the combination with a barrage to the blonde’s midsection. Kath grunting as she weathers, definitely coming out of that exchange the worse for wear. Bell rings and Alice’s crude tactics appear to have won her this round - I suppose we could give her some props for trying to adapt. Now, it’s up to Kath to see whether she can do the same.

ROUND 5:
Both women overcompensating in the opening seconds, showing hesitation to get in close and bang. And rightly so - they’ve each taken some damage over the past few rounds, and as we pass the middle mark, the smart thing would be to play it safe. However, Alice being Alice still the one eager to draw first blood, some tentative jabbing at Kath’s head making the Dollhouse starlet panic and jump backwards on instinct. Kath slightly embarrassed, immediately countering with a fast jab-jab at Alice’s body by pushing back off her toes. In doing so though, she leaves herself wide open to counterattack: Alice anticipating her forward movement, snaps a hook into the side of her face on the way in, before sending *another* straight hand right into her chest! Winnick gasping, chastising herself for falling for the oldest trick in the book, now has to contend with Alice back in overdrive, swinging rapidly and driving her in the backseat back into the ropes. Winnick with little space to manoeuvre in the pocket, eats a couple more side blows to the ribs before she manages to clinch up. The girls struggle on the ropes, twisting and rotating, but the bell cuts their party short. Kath struggling to surge forward with a lead this fight, letting her opponent gladly take the reins.

ROUND 6:
Alice looking cocky, having a good time playing with her slab of meat so far. Katheryn however has had enough, and CHARGES! Alice a brief look of shock and surprise on her doe-like eyes as the first barrage comes crashing into her guard. Katheryn certainly taking our advice here and switching things up a notch, but hell - we hadn’t expected an all-out assault! And from the look of things, neither did Alice Eve! The Brit getting stuffed to the body with more short uppercuts, then her guard taking a brutal pounding as Kath unleashes the big guns up top. Alice trying to clinch up this time herself, but getting denied by Kath’s slightly bigger frame, slowly being shoved backwards into the ropes. Alice grunting, mouth open as her body’s beat with right hands, Kath pinning her down all the way to the bell! What a dominant round for Winnick, though we’re heading into the seventh and still no sign of a knockdown from either woman.

ROUND 7:
Alice doesn’t look happy one bit at the shellacking she received last round. With a low growl, here she comes, eager to get back into the fight, but suddenly STUNNED by a well-placed punch to the middle of her guard. Katheryn not holding back any longer, taking her shots wisely, with well-timed power hands to stun the Brit. Alice trying to hit back, but her reach at a slight disadvantage, gets shocked the face before her gloves can reach Kath. Eve getting pushed backwards methodically when her stubbornness rearing its ugly head once more: she steps in to throw a hook at Kath’s face, hoping to get seize the opening, but gets SMASHED by one of Kath’s crosses instead! UGH!! Suddenly reeling backwards, she’s disoriented! Kath steps in, blasts to the face left, then right, finally finishing her off with an uppercut to the jawline. AND DOWN EVE GOES! Alice crumpling down into a heap after that wicked combination that knocks her socks off completely! Referee takes one look at the snoozing blonde and declares this fight OVER!

Official Decision: Katheryn Winnick defeats Alice Eve via KO7!

AFTER:
Another impressive performance from Katheryn Winnick - hell, if she can put Alice away, she can put a LOT of other girls on the Bantam roster on notice. She’s also a fast learner, judging from her in-ring performance tonight, switching up that defensive and offensive style on a whim, and will certainly serve her well in future fights.

“I knew she’d be a tough one, and she was, but I always study my opponents and I never come unprepared,” the blonde saying to reporters once her victory sinks in with a smile. “And when I’m prepared, I can take down *anyone*, whatever their age or size may be.”

Alice looking forlorn in her own corner after getting revived by smelling salts, forced to eat her words from earlier. She’s ignored by the press, and more so the victor, wallowing in some new self-doubt as she’s led away by her own team.
