Willa Holland vs Emily Bett Rickards
Prefight: Both ladies extremely excited for this opportunity. Emily for her new stable and Willa for her new faction/union. Willa is in a black string bikini and Emily is in a tan with black spots bikini. Both with black gloves Emily's long hair tied back.
R1: EBR comes out at the bell with fury charging Willa. The brunette tries to move to her right to escape. Emily slams her in the side nearly knocking her into the ropes. The blonde starts to throwing left and rights to the body to keep her control. Willa is getting pounded. She tries to fire back using her speed to get out of trouble. Into minute two of the round Willa finally gets completely away from her powerful opponent. Even though she's winded and battered Willa gets on her horse and stays out of beating range for the rest of the round. Emily struts strong back to her corner after giving a very impressive first round of her Medallion career.
R2: At the bell, Willa quickly moves out of her corner to stop what she was thinking would be another charge by Emily. The two settle into the fight that many expected Willa working the outside ducking and moving while Emily trying to get inside to light the brunette up. A few times in the round, Emily traps her foe near the ropes ripping off several hard shots to the body before Willa can escape. As the bell sounds, Willa may have lost the round but worked herself out of danger and Emily looks frustrated she didn't close the brunette down in that round.
R3: Emily comes out early in the round pushing trying too hard to get close. WACK! Emily eats a uppercut then a left hook her head is knocked back. The blonde is rocked and Willa is going in for the kill throwing everything she can to the head. Emily able to cover up wobbly butt against the ropes. Willa wacks away at her opponents meaty arms before switching to the body. The shots force Emily to tie up. After the tie up, Willa settles into her outside pounding game keeping Emily stunned but can't seem to find the opening again to pounce. At the bell, Willa with a grin on her face bounces back to her corner. Emily looks like she was going to fall on her way back but makes it there then gets a full browbeating by Eliza.
R4: Willa comes out to press her advantage wanting to pound her slower opponent. Emily for the first minute it's the same as the end of the last round seeming like it's a matter of time before Emily gets wore down. Into the second minute Emily starts firing back as in round two. Settling into the even fight again. The blonde is slightly swollen but still in the fight. Willa still working hard on her but Emily has stabilized the fight. At the bell both fighters stare each other down before going back to their corners. Emily is getting another ear full from Eliza who it looks like is nearly going to hit her fighter.
R5: Emily comes out with a with her scowl on her face. She marches into the center of the ring to meet Willa. The brunette holds her up with a few jabs but the blonde works inside. Emily gets walloped by a hard uppercut. She seems a bit stunned is able to get off a liver shot to the taller brunette. Willa makes a pained face her legs buckling. She leans on Emily trying to tie up but the blonde digs into the body barely missing an uppercut. Willa wheels backwards to the ropes. The blonde still a bit shaken moves in on Willa. She starts teeing off missing quite a bit but still blasting away at the brunette. Willa finally holds Emily who gets off three shots before the referee steps in and breaks the clinch. Willa slides across the ropes finding a bit of space. Emily goes right back after her battering to the body at the bell. Emily goes back to her corner to it looks like an even more frustrated Eliza as before. Willa slides along the ropes to her corner being cradled at the end by her corner workers. The one sided round is over but Eliza is acting like Emily lost the round.
R6: Willa comes out slow for this round heavily protecting her side. Emily comes out slower herself stalking Willa. The brunette trying to hold her off with jabs but Emily slaps them aside digging again at Willa's flanks then suddenly stepping back and going head hunting. Willa's head snaps back and she staggers back to the ropes. Emily keeps firing showing no mercy knocking Willa around like a rag doll at one point looking at the ref to stop it. She doesn't. WILLA GOES DOWN!!! The brunette crushed with an uppercut that takes her to her toes then face down to the mat, hands at her side sputtering. The count is academic as she never moves from where she lays. Winner by 6th round KO EMILY BETT RICKARDS.
Postfight: Emily is ecstatic celebrating her first win with Medallion. She does go check on Willa giving her a bit of a hug. "I'm so happy to be here with Medallion and able to give them this win." Emily says with her big smile. "Eliza has already been telling me what I've done wrong and was a huge help in the corner. I've still got a lot of work to do but I'll be bring a belt to Medallion." The future looks bright for the young Medallion bantamweight. |
