Caity Lotz versus Katie Cassidy

Prefight: This fight is a rematch between these two Arrowverse ladies. Caity lost by 10th round TKO in a most heartbreaking fashion. Now she's looking for revenge as her first fight with Medallion. "That loss has haunted me for a long time. How I got beaten down and gave up at the end. I'm going to beat her this time and make her have to be carried to her corner." Caity comments before the fight. "I'm the one who should have been picked by Medallion. I can be a bantamweight or a short lightweight for them. This fight is going to make them rethink things about which Arrowverse girl they should have in their stable." Katie confidently says in her interview. Both ladies are in white gloves and boots. Katie is in a white and tan monokini. Caity in a bright blue one piece suit.

R1: The two touch gloves in the center of the ring and begin. Both try to set up their jab early. In the first minute, Caity is pushing hard seeming tight with something to prove. She gets inside but gets hung up by a hard hook and cross. Caity staggers back but the longer blonde connects with two more head shots before Caity is out of range. Katie gives chase keeping gloves on Caity for the rest of the round. They may only be jabs and glancing blows but Katie keeps ringing her up until the bell. Cassidy spins on her heels and almost hops back to her corner while Lotz eyes blinking gloves down walks back to her corner.

R2: Eliza doing her job dressing down her new charge in the corner. Her advise seems more like berating. At the bell Caity seems more determined and focused. The two touch gloves again to start the round showing their friendship and rivalry. The two showing their boxing skill. Cassidy with her longer arms trying to keep Lotz at the edges. Caity blocking or dodging the blows trying to get her own jab landed. Katie using her longer body to lean out of the way. It's a boxing clinic. Caity working more able to land hard shots to the body and stagger Cassidy with an uppercut at the bell. Lotz walks away knowing she won the close round.

R3: Caity seems to be settling in to her fight using her speed and strength to muscle around her friend getting off bunches of punches. Katie still using upper body movement to dodge hitting when she can trying to avoid the bulldozer able to land her famed hook a few times. Lotz does make her pay for it each time aiming for Katie's belly button looking to double her over for the uppercut. Caity hits a few of them as glazing blows. At the bell the two are still exchanging. Caity back to her corner a bounce in her step. Cassidy wincing a bit as she slowly walks back to her corner knowing she got dominated this round.

R4: Both look intense as they wait in the corner for the bell. The two have sparred so much they can't fool each other. They come out of their corners and meet in the middle going right to work. Katie has found her range hitting Caity much harder and much more frequently than before. Lotz trying to adjust continuing to work trying to get inside trying to load up her big shots. Going into the second minute, Caity looks tired punch weary. trying to throw bombs throughout the round. THUD! Caity ducks inside and is blasted with a right uppercut from the hip and Katie's sick right cross. Lotz falls flat on her face buns up hands to her side. The crowd jumps to it's feet while Katie almost skips to a neutral corner waiting for Caity to be counted out. Much to every ones except Eliza's surprise Caity starts twitching on the mat first sitting up the staggering to her feet. The count is at nine and the ref checks her to see if the fight needs to be stopped. She's cleared and the fight will continue. Katie looks completely dishearten that she didn't get the KO. It takes her a moment but moves in on the stunned blonde. She bats around Caity like a cat with a toy trying to get the knockout but Lotz is covering up tying up when she needs to which is exactly where they are at the bell. Katie shoves her battered freind nearly to the mat frustrated that their will be another round. Eliza has to come out and guide Caity to the Medallion corner.

R5: Medallion has their hands full trying to get the athletic Caity. Eliza's counsel seems to be more inspirational than anything else trying to get her mentally back into the fight. At the bell, Caity comes out slowly still stunned from the previous round. Katie on the other hand comes out looking like a cast looking for her prey. She uses her jab to back up Lotz beating her to the ropes then digging to the body trying to get her set up for her hook. Caity is being brutalized in the first thirty seconds having to tie up. Katie keeps punching until the break. Caity stays close to the ropes leaning into Cassidy when she tries to work inside. She's getting pounded but as the round carries on her head seems to be clearing she's using her body to keep herself in the fight cutting off most head shots. Katie into minute two is getting highly frustrated. She's dominating the round but is no closer to knocking her rival down. The round ends Katie storming off and Lotz walking away hands down winded.

R6: Eliza again more praising her fighter and encouraging that ranting. Seeming to agree with the tough dancer's strategy. Caity comes out slow again at the bell while Cassidy comes out like her hair is on fire. It looks like the round is going to go the same as the last Katie dominating but into the first minute. Cassidy is starting to slow down though drained from punching for two rounds straight. WHOP! Caity digs hard to the body a fierce four punch combo. Katie staggers back then gets clipped with a three punch combo to the head. Her legs are shaking as she forced to tie up with Lotz. That was a saving idea but not the best of ideas. Caity pounds her flank until the break then starts stomping down Cassidy. Lotz working inside bunching up punches still being wary of her chin. At the bell Katie looks all busted up in her long body while Caity looks solid but still hazed over eyes.

R7: Caity is now getting the riot act from Eliza. She wants something bad. Katie in her corner breathing heavy trying to recover. At the bell, Caity comes out on fire charging in. Katie tries to wheel away but Lotz still fires away. Katie is off balance when she's rocked by a loaded right cross. Cassidy goes down! The long blonde drops to all fours doesn't seem to be hurt to bad more of a half slip half knockdown. She stays down until the eight count with a cough. Caity comes right in seeing blood. She digs hard inside pounding Katie. The ref looking for fight back from Katie. Two hard shots to Cassidy's head snapping it left to right. The ref steps in! Caity finishes her off along ropes for a win via TKO7!

Postfight: Caity is elated giving first Eliza a hug then Katie who fought a hell of a fight against her saluting the crowd in her celebration. "I knew this fight was going to be hard but didn't think it was going to be that hard." Caity admits. "I don't think I would have got up if it wasn't for the training of Eliza over the past month." "This is one tough and strong lady." Eliza chimes in. "I'm getting her ready to take the title. She needs a bit more work and not let herself get hit on the chin so much." The brunette teases. "We'll work on it but for now it's time to celebrate finally being with a stable." Caity finishes. It was a scary but great start for the new Medallion lady. Hopefully the first of many wins to come.
