Intro:
The opening fight tonight sees Ronda Rousey take on her hardest challenge so far, the legend Gena Lee Nolin is the latest person looking to take the former MMA stars undefeated record.

Ronda is 31 years old, she stands 5'6 and holds a record of 2 wins, all by knockout and 0 defeats.

Gena is 46 years old; she stands 5'9 and holds a record of 132 wins, 88 by knockout, 77 defeats and 3 draws, she is a former 3 time FCBA lightweight champion, former 7 time FCBA welterweight champion and former 4 time FCBA middleweight champion.

The fighters were asked for a few words before the fight, with Ronda finishing up sparring with Charlize Theron, who is a long time enemy of Gena, so knows what to teach Ronda.

Once the session is over; Ronda steps out the ring and tosses the gloves into the nearest corner of the ring to her, she smiles as she wipes her brow and heads to the journalists.

"I want to say first how blessed I feel right now, I am the WWE Raw women's champion, I get to come here and train with icons like Charlize, I feel the best I have in a long while" says Ronda with a beaming smile.

"But now to talk about Gena; I have heard so much from my stablemates about her, funny how none of it is good, they all seem to think that she is a bytch and seem to hope I retire her" Ronda adds with a cocky grin.

"I fancy going 3 and 0, Gena definitely is not stopping me" finishes Ronda as she bangs her right fist into her left palm, a warning to her future opponent.

While Gena is holding an open workout on the beach, sparring with a local fighter after running a lap up the beach in a scene reminiscent of her time on Baywatch, especially as she chooses to wear a red one piece swimsuit.

Then she finishes up and heads to tell the press "I hope Ronda sees this because I know that bytch Charlize and her new pet Tess (Valmore) will be telling her that I am finished"

Flexing her arms; Gena brags "does this look like someone who is finished? I still got it and Ronda is about to get it" chuckling as she heads off the beach with swagger to her step.

Fight night in Monaco's Casino de Monte-Carlo, out comes Ronda with Jeri Ryan and Sunny McKay behind her, Ronda has a big grin on her face as she heads to the ring.

She is wearing a white sports bra with a red and yellow written Rowdy across the front, she has black trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair is braided.

Climbing into the ring; she heads to her corner and psyches herself up, her demeanor changing as the smile disappears to be replaced by an all business look.

Gena comes out with her coach by her side, a cocky look on her face as she struts to the ring, Gena never short of confidence as shown tonight.

She keeps with the Baywatch look as she wears a red sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, while her hair is in a fighting ponytail.

Stepping into the ring; Gena marches around the inside of the ring, telling Ronda as she stood in front of her "I am going to give you a beating like Holm's did" grinning as she sees the scowl on Ronda's face, with Gena finishing her lap soon.

Soon the fighters come face to face at the ring centre, getting right into each others faces as they try to bully each other back, the referee needing to break them up and warn both to keep this clean.

When asked to touch gloves, they bang them together as Gena continues to mouth off, while Ronda has that deathly stare that usually signals pain is coming for opponents.

Once they are back in their corners and ready to fight, the referee signals for the bell to ring to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Both fighters start off behind their jabs, feeling the other out early on as their eyes are locked in a hard stare, still trying to psyche the other out.
Ronda looks to push to the inside; but she gets caught coming in with a left/right combo on the top of her head as Gena moves back.
While Gena likes to scrap; clearly she respects the power of Ronda as she keeps on the move backwards, keeping her opponent on the outside with straight punches.
Till Ronda times her attack, after parrying a straight; she moves to the inside with a right cross up top, followed by a left to the ribs.
Gena hisses as she is forced to stand and trade with Ronda, the fans roaring as the fighters let their hands go in scruffy infighting.
The veteran smartly uses her left arm to nudge Ronda to her jugs, then lands an uppercut to knock Ronda onto her heels.
Where Gena keeps her as she drives Ronda back behind her guard, the WWE star tries to come out her guard but ends up getting caught on her face to knock her head back.
The round ends with Gena cockily proclaiming "welcome to the big leagues kid" with Ronda staring hard at her in reply.
Though as Ronda heads to her corner, it is clear that she lost that round and Jeri lets her know it as she shouts at her to pick her game up.
Round 2:
This time as the bell goes; Ronda comes out her corner quickly, surprising Gena as she comes straight at her.
Gena tries to keep to her strategy of keeping Ronda back, the problem is Ronda slips under a straight and barrels into her with a body pounding drill.
That knocks Gena towards the ropes, where the actress quickly holds onto Ronda, the referee struggles to break the fighters apart as they grapple onto the ropes.
They are pried apart and Gena uses the opening to move into space, where she catches Ronda coming forwards with a two punch combo to the top of her head.
When Ronda tightens her guard, Gena shoves the gloves of Ronda into her face and lands a right cross around the guard to unbalance the younger fighter.
Ronda now finds herself being driven back towards the ropes, but she surprises Gena again as she slips under a left cross into space, then slams a straight off the lips of Nolin.
The late part of the round sees Ronda keep Gena on the outside of the ring, slamming punches into the gloves of Nolin.
The round ends with Ronda turning to her corner with Jeri smiling at her, while Gena scowls behind her, heading back to her corner and getting told off her coach that she needs to keep Ronda underwraps.
Round 3:
Both fighters come out their corners quickly, fists flying in close as they try to knock the other back, not many punches landing cleanly.
Ronda dips down to make Gena miss with a left cross, then Ronda lands an overhand right to turn Gena's head, with Ronda knocking her opponent back with punches to the face.
The former MMA star has Gena struck on the ropes covering up, Ronda puts her head down and works the body of her opponent.
Who pulls Ronda into a clinch, the referee steps in to pull them apart, but he doesn't notice the knee from Gena between Ronda's legs.
Ronda cries out and the referee looks bewildered what happened as Gena looks innocent, Jeri complaining as the referee orders the fighters to keep fighting.
Gena knocking Ronda back across the ring as she seems to be struggling, with Gena slamming a three punch combo up the middle of Rousey's guard, opening up a cut on the bridge of her nose.
With Ronda finding herself having to cover up as she ends up struck on the ropes, Gena punches seem close to the waistband of her opponent's trunks for comfort.
The bell rings with Ronda shaking her head as she returns to her corner, while Jeri rushes past her to get into the referees face about the low blow.
Ronda gets cleaned up and told off Sunny how to shake off a low blow, as they see Jeri got told off the referee to return to her corner before Ronda gets disqualified for her actions.
All the while Gena is laughing as she watches this unfold, telling her coach "I bet you Ronda never ever had that happen in an MMA fight"
Round 4:
As the fighters come out; Ronda is on the defensive as Gena stalks her around the ring, Ronda still looking a little bothered by the low blow as she doesn't move that quickly.
Gena is able to catch her with a straight to the top of Rousey's head, following with two cross punches to the cheeks of the younger woman.
Ronda finding herself being knocked to the outside of the ring, till she slips under a right hook and slams a right into the body of Nolin.
Who groans out and finds Ronda coming to life now as the Chimera girl slams an overhand right into her chin to knock Gena backwards.
The fighters trade in tight, heads rubbing as they slam away into the others body and clipping shots to the others cheeks.
Till Ronda gets shoved back and has to duck under a right, with Ronda moving into space, with both fighters resetting and moving around as they look for openings.
Gena looking annoyed at the resistance that Ronda is showing, both women slamming single punches into the others face as they circle.
The round ends with Gena shaking her head at Ronda, who continues to be all business, though the blood running from the cut on her nose is annoying her.
Round 5:
Gena looks to get back into the face of Ronda, landing a double jab onto the nose of her opponent to make her groan out.
But when Gena swings a right hook; it misses as the Chimera fighter dips under it and comes up with an uppercut to knock the head of Nolin back.
With Ronda smacking Gena across her face with two right crosses, the veteran is forced to cover up as she finds herself driven onto the ropes.
When Gena clinches up with Ronda, she gets pulled down into a front headlock by Ronda to stop a repeat of the low blow she got before.
The referee breaks them up; with Gena able to keep Ronda back with another double jab, moving around the smaller fighter as she tries to keep Ronda to the outside.
Late in the round; Ronda parries a left cross, countering with a left to the ribs, then landing a right hook up top to turn Gena's head to the side.
Ronda knocks Gena back with her punches slamming into the cheeks of the Baywatch legend, driving her to the ropes.
The round ends with Gena giving Ronda a shove in her frustration, the referee needed to stand between the fighters as they look ready to continue.
After being shouted at to return to their corners, they do as told with an annoyed look on each of their faces, mostly over their opponent.
Round 6:
Both women start off circling and looking for openings, trading single punches as they move, with Gena landing the cleaner shots.
She tries to use her jab to herd Ronda to the outside of the ring, with her punches smacking off the gloves of her opponent as she takes the center of the ring.
But Ronda times her attack; parrying a straight and slipping inside to land an uppercut that knocks Gena's head back.
The veteran tries to cover up as Ronda comes on the attack, Ronda manages to get her punches through the mitts of Gena to knock her onto the ropes.
Gens tries to swing a desperate right hook; RONDA DIPS UNDER IT AND LANDS AN OVERHAND RIGHT ACROSS THE CHIN, THAT RATTLES GENA AND THE FOLLOW UP RIGHT AND LEFT HOOK MAKE GENA SLIDE DOWN THE ROPES TO HER BACKSIDE!
The referee waves Ronda back so they can begin their count, 1...2...3...4 Gena stirs but has her eyes shut as she leans across the bottom rope, 5...6...7 her gumshield comes out as it looks like she admitted defeat, 8...9...10 and is counted out!

Winner Ronda Rousey KO Round 6

After:
This was the toughest test for Ronda and while the low blow slowed her down, Ronda has come through with flying colours.

Gena has the ringside doctor and her coach getting on her, the smelling salts waken her up fully as she splutters awake, she looks upset as her coach tells her she was unlucky.

She doesn't seem to agree as she is helped up, the normally arrogant Gena looks a shell as she sits on her stool, just staring at the canvas as her coach drenches her with water to clean her.

Ronda meanwhile across the ring is back to being all smiles, Jeri praises her as Sunny seems to just enjoy rubbing her down with a sponge.

The referee waves both women to the ring centre, where Gena keeps her head down to the surprise of everyone in the arena.

When Ronda gets her hand raised, all eyes turn to her as her beaming smile lights up the place, she blows kisses to her fans and looks like she wants to go again with anyone.

While Gena climbs out the ring, maybe for the last time as her spirit seems to be gone right now, though knowing Gena she will probably find it again soon enough.

In the ring; Ronda mounts the middle ropes in each corner, thanking the fans for their support as she looks ecstatic, jumping down and getting a pat on the back from Jeri.

Before they leave the ring; what's next for Ronda is on everyone's lips as she continues to move up the rankings, can she win a title in the FCBA to conquer another domain she had entered?
