Results: Lookout Writing: Archer
Lucy: 29 YO, 5’2 (1.57 m), 27-26-0, 26 KO since 2010, Pretty Little Punchers Inc.
Jessica: 0 YO, 5’4 (1.63 m), 31-19-1, 30 KO since 2011, Lioness Club of America.

Before: Things get feisty between Lucy and Jessica as they meet the press before their upcoming fight. Lucy in a crisp white blouse and black miniskirt. Jessica in a sea-green mini-dress. The two of them are at podiums at opposite ends of the stage.

“I don’t get to fight LCA girls nearly enough. They are always up to something to try to intimidate an opponent,” Lucy says looking daggers at Jessica.

“I have no idea what you mean,” Jessica says trying (not very successfully) to look innocent.

“You didn’t hire that fake waitress to hit me with a pie at my own fan club meeting?”

“Oh, I heard about that. What kind of pie was it?”

“Banana cream,” Lucy growls.

“Oh, if it would have been me, I would have sent over a chocolate cream pie .The visual is so much better. So it must have been one of your other admirers,” Jessica says.

“If we had been able to trace that blonde wig she left behind—“ Lucy says, but then PLP Communications Director hurries out and whispers in Lucy’s ear. Lucy’s jaw drops and she pounds the podium. “I might have known it was Selena Gomez! Gomie where are you?”

Selena strolls out from the wings and stands next to Jessica: “Geez, you guys aren’t exactly Nancy Drew are you? Took you long enough to ID me.”

“Gomie, did you really throw a pie in Lucy’s face?” Jessica asks.

“It was more like a push. She barely noticed I was there until the pie was in her face. It was hilarious,” Selena said. “And that pays you back for beating me in 2015.”

Lucy goes storming over. Selena ducks behind Jessica, Autumn is trying to hold Lucy back.

“You knew about this Jessica. You just wanted to upset me because I might kick your ass this time!” Lucy rages.

“Naw, we did it because it was fun,” Selena says and then ducks back behind Jessica.

“Come out here and face me you coward!” Lucy rages.

“Sorry, Lucy, Selena’s under my protection and you keep away. That goes for you, too Reeser!” Jessica declares.

“You know I don’t like you, Lowndes, don’t go giving me orders!” Autumn cried.

“As though the Hallmark Channel’s #1 Jobber scares me. You know I punched your lights out every time you dared spar with me!”

“Twice sparred and the second one was a draw and you know it!” Autumn cried indigantly.

“Geez, Autumn, you never told us about that,” Lucy says in some surprise.

“Of course, she didn’t, I mopped the sound stage with her,” Jessica claimed.

“You—you—“ Autumn splutters at Jessica (who has made her share of Hallmark Channel rom-coms) Then she lunges at Jessica. Lucy goes for Selena and mayhem ensues. Additional members of the PLP: Danielle Campbell, Ashley Benson an Sasha Pieterse rush onto the stage from one side. From the other side come the LCA reinforcements: Minka Kelly, Nina Dobrev and Nicole Scherzinger enter the battle. For a glorious few minutes all ten of the ladies are battling it out with hair bring yanked and clothes badly torn. Then the FCBA Security men flood the stage and separate the raging beauties. Finally the press conference is declared over and the two sides forced to exit separately.

Much grumbling among more respectable fans that not even one question got asked about the actual fight. However interest in the bout seems to be running very high. FCBA sternly announces $50 fines will be put on each participant in the “unseemly brawl” and warn “there had better not be any repeat of this at the PPV or the fines will be doubled! Never let it be said the FCBA Front Office doesn’t know how deal with such indiscipline in its ranks!)

Tension builds in the arena as the fighters approach. Lucy Hale appears first. She has trainer Nia Peeples at her side, but close behind are Ashley Benson, Sasha Pieterse, and Autumn Reeser. She is wearing a white bikini with black stripes and red dots scattered about. She wears red gloves and black boots. Her bobbed hair is wetted down.

Next comes Jessica Lowndes, assistant LCA trainer Eva Mendes is handling her tonight. With them are Selena Gomez, Nina Dobrev and Minka Kelly. Jessica doffs her robe to reveal an aquamarine bikini with dark blue gloves and boots. Her hair is in a single battle braid down her back.

Glowering looks from Lucy and Jessica as they meet with the referee. Jessica trying to take full advantage of her 2 inch height superiority, as she tries to loom over the smaller Lucy. Lucy stands with hands on hips and giving Jessica a look of contempt. Referee has his hands full getting through ring instructions as more than once breasts bounce together and there is a flurry of pushing and shoving. Finally the official gets things under control and gets the fighters back to their corners so the actual fight can begin. The bell rings…

R1: Lucy quick out of the gate and tries to storm in on Jessica, gloves flying. Jessica coolly ducking or blunting most of these shots and then strikes back with well-aimed shots that connect hard to Lucy’s chin and jaw. Lucy thrown on the defensive as Jessica now counterattacks with a body attack that has the smaller flyweight doubled over as she tries to back away. Jessica staying with Lucy, now banging her head from side to side and then she tries to bully Lucy into the ropes. Lucy scrambles away and Jessica has to give chase. Jessica finding the range with more body work as the round winds down. Lucy hanging on, but she looks all bottled up and dominated. Jessica Lowndes wins the round wide.

R2: Lucy comes right back at Jessica, but she seems more controlled in her punching. Jessica getting hit hard in the face and her jaw is now getting hit hard. Jessica now the one covering up, but Lucy has the impressive Lowndes rack as her target and she gives Jess a got jugg scrubbing. Jessica firing back with the jab, but Lucy slipping passed it and working Jessica to the belly as the round goes on. Jessica trying to drive Lucy back, but she continues to find the PLP flyweight a hard target. Lucy looking good as she maintains her attack to the bell and wins the round wide.

R3: Jessica answers Lucy Hale’s aggression with a sustained attack to open the new round. Lucy swatted hard to the face and then gets her chin rocked by successive uppercuts. Lucy falling back rapidly and Jessica quick to follow, but Lucy rallies behind her jab that lashes Jessica’s face and brings her attack to a sudden halt. Fighters pause for a moment to regroup and then go right back at each other, Now we see close-in body punching as short, but powerful hooks are brought up against straining bodies. Both fighters pushing hard with their feet to gain leverage, but it is only slowly that Jessica Lowndes begins to force Lucy Hale back. Lucy fighting hard as she retreats, but Jessica seals the deal with overhand rights to the forehead that make Lucy shudder and cover up. Bell rings as Jess is able to win a close, hard-fought round.

R4: Lucy seems not about to surrender the momentum of the fight to Jessica. She starts the new round with a fresh burst of punching power, but this time she is going to the midsection. Jessica getting ripped up by Lucy’s deep, digging hooks and they are tipping her forward. Lucy sustains the belly attack, but then swiftly shifts gears as she sees Jessica drop her gloves to protect her aching midsection. Lucy launches a driving right/left combo into Jessica’s jaw that staggers her and then Lucy unloads a slashing right to the the chin and a follow-up slashing left to the chin. The combo goes crashing into Jessica’s brain and DOWN GOES JESSICA LOWNDES. Jessica crashes onto her side and then rolls onto her back, left leg, out straight, right leg bent at the knee and her arms at her sides. Lucy quickly off to the neutral corner. Referee moves in and starts to count as Jessica pushes herself into s sitting position. She looks around and realizes she is in big trouble, Her face twists with strain as she forces herself into a crouch and then slowly, slowly rises, breaking the count at “EIGHT!” Fight resumes. Jessica looking irked at the knockout, defiantly waves Lucy in and engages her solid battle of jabs. The punching is mostly to the body and Jessica remains firmly upright to the bell. Jessica glaring at Lucy at bell. Lucy glaring right back, Referee has to intervene and order them back to their corners. Lucy wins the round with the knockout, but observers whisper Jessica is far from beaten at this point.

R5: Jessica feeling the pressure, tries to respond with pressure of her own as she and Lucy circle each other firing a steady exchange of punches. Jessica gets in a surprise swatting right to the side of Lucy’s head and then moves in fast to follow-up. Lucy too quick in her response as she stalls Jessica with a hard smash to the mouth. Jessica and Lucy now shift back in close-in fighting mode. Toe to toe punching and plenty of it. They are grinding away, neither willing to give ground. Then Lucy gets a overhand right into Jessica’s cheekbone to send her spinning away. Lucy hounding Jessica as she tries to stabilize herself. Jessica finally able to knock Lucy back with late jabs to the nose and mouth. Lucy fighting back with jabs of her own as time runs out. Judges give it to Lucy Hale by a very narrow margin (some grumbling boos from the Jessica Lowndes fans, answered by cheers from the Lucy Hale rooters).

R6: Jessica seems determined not to let herself be dominated by Lucy. She attacks Lucy to the head with rocking blows that make Lucy’s legs shiver. Lucy trying to counter with the jab, but Jessica not letting it stop her as she drives her shits between Lucy’s gloves to smite her hard in the face, Lucy bleeding from her nose and lips as she covers up and tries to dodge Jessica’s continuing attack, Blocking to the head, Jessica now driving ramming hooks into Lucy’s stomach and ribs. Lucy keeps being driven up on her toes by Jessica’s devastating hook attack to the belly. Lucy still trying to jab, but less and less as she is forced to just cover up and try to ride out the leather storm that Jessica is bringing against her. Bell finally rings. Lucy totters away looking gray-faced as her legs seem to have turned to rubber, Jessica takes a look., Likes what she sees and turns away with a cruel smile on her face.

R7: PLP corner working hard on Lucy Hale during break, but Lucy comes off her stool moving slowly and her gloves up without much conviction. Jessica moves in, Tests Lucy’s chin with quick flicker punches that make Lucy’s head bobble. Lucy pushing out the jab, but Jessica largely ignoring it as she circles, reverses and counter-circles. Lucy quickly grows confused by the fancy footwork. More taps to the chin to make sure Lucy’s ready to go. Then Jessica comes roaring in with smashing rights and lefts to the jaw. Lucy’s head swiveling on way and then the other. Then Jessica goes to the belly with more driving hooks and Lucy’s lifted off her toes. Then out flashes the right uppercut into Lucy’s chin and Lucy goes flying back into the ropes. She hits them and slides down to end up sitting, legs spread, arms at her sides and her chin resting on her collarbone as her wet hair covers her face. Jessica moves quickly to neutral corner and referee moves in. Count starts. Lucy raises her head, her eyes open but her is blank look that says “Nobody Home Here!” Lucy closes her eyes and chin again rests on her collarbone.

“SEVEN!...EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!...YER OUT!”

THE WINNER: JESSICA LOWNDES DEFEATS LUCY HALE KO7!

After: Jessica quickly surrounded by happy LCA stable sisters as the crowd cheers her victory. Meanwhile Lucy Hale has been revived and assisted to her stool for further testing. PLP corner is guarded by Ashley Benson, Sasha Pieterse and Autumn Reeser.

Sure enough, as soon as Lucy Hale shows signs of life (by promptly bursting into bitter tears), Jessica Lowndes heads over. Selena Gomez, Minka Kelly and Nina Dobrev are right behind her.

“Back off Lowndes, Lucy doesn’t want to see you,” Ashley Benson declares.

“Aw, listen to her cry her little heart out. I just wanted to hear you say that I’m the better fighter than you—I’ve proved that twice now,” Jessica smirks.

Lucy lurches to her feet and snarls: “Go screw yourself, Lowndes! I’m never saying that!”

Jessica turns to her three companions: “Such language! Such attitude! I really need to do something about that.”

Evidently this was a code phrase for Selena Gomez grabs Autumn Reeser by the arm, Nina Dobrev grabs Ashley Benson, and Minka Kelly jumps Sasha Pieterse. (At the same time, Eva Mendes has climbed the ropes and grabbed Nia Peeples from behind pinning her against the strands). Suddenly, all Lucy Hale’s defenders are gone, and before the bewildered Lucy can react, she is seized by Jessica and treated to an Irish Whip that hurls her to the center of the ring. Jessica then grabs Lucys stool and trots out to Lucy who is face down and trying to get up.

Jessica hauls Lucy up by the hair and takes a seat on the stool. She then pulls Lucy across her lap and rolls Lucy’s bikini bottom up into a tight wedge then yanks. Lucy lets out a howl of outrage, but then her bared buns come under the palm of Jessica’s hands. Lucy is struggling to escape and screeching her protest.

“SAY I’M BETTER AND I’LL STOP!” Jessica commands.

“NEVER!...OOOOOO!!!.....OWWWWWWIIIII…..OUCHHHHHH!!!!....NEVER!” Lucy moans.

Meanwhile Selena and Sasha Pieterse are wrestling against the ropes with Sasha mounted on the lower ropes while spreading Selena’s arms along the top rope. Then Autumn Reeser and Minka Kelly who are locked together in mutual bear hugs slam into Sasha and Selena. Sasha and Selena bump foreheads and slide to the canvas in a dazed heap, Autumn finally manages to hip toss Minka to the canvas, but Nina Dobrev who has dumped a bucket of water over Ashley Benson’s head and banged it on the ropes to leave poor Benzo reeling, turns to Minka’s assistance. Nina leaps onto to Autumn, who trips over the fallen Selena and Sasha and then somehow she and Nina go crashing through the ropes. Luckily the area around the ring is padded, but Autumn and Nina are both slow to get up.

Jessica now looks to see Nia Peeples get an elbow into Eva Mendes gut to knock her off the edge of the ring. Nia heads straight for Jessica and Lucy who is still across Jessica’s lap, Jessica leaps up and throws Lucy so that she hits Nia like a crossbody block. Nia catches Lucy, but they both crash down. Then Ashley Benson trips over them adding to the tangle.

Jessica quickly helps Selena to her feet and see Eva Mendes outside the ring helping Nina to her feet. Minka Kelly is on her feet. She grabs one of Selena’s and they all rush from the ring. Not as moment too soon as Troian Bellisario leads Shay Mitchell, Melissa Benoist, Bo Krsmanovic, and Hayley Atwell to the rescue. As they reach the ring, FCBA Security makes a belated appearance blocking the angry Punchers from heading for the LCA locker room.

Fans of post-fight brawls certainly got their money’s worth with this bout, but there was plenty of good, solid flyweight action for more traditional FCBA fans to enjoy. Lucy Hale gave it good try, but once again Jessica Lowndes was too much for her. Although Lucy is likely to be very disappointed with the outcome of the fight (not to mention getting spanked by Jessica!) she fought well and we think this will be no more than an unpleasant setback for her. As for Jessica Lowndes, this has to be a satisfying win and should keep her ranked high in the Flyweight Division. Of course, for most fans, the real question emerging from this fight is what will happen next between the PLP and LCA. We have no idea, but we are expecting lively times ahead as the old year ends and the new one begins.
