(Diamond Boxing Club vs Hawkeye International Sports Consortium)

Intro:
It's now time for Anna Kendrick and Natalie Portman to lace up the gloves to do battle in Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Anna is 33 years old; she stands 5'2 and holds a record of 17 wins, all by knockout and 15 defeats, she is a former FCBA flyweight champion.

Natalie is 37 years old; she stands 5'3 and holds a record of 76 wins, 41 by knockout, 47 defeats with 2 draws, she is a former 10 time FCBA flyweight champion and a member of the FCBA hall of fame.

These two fought in April of last year, Anna lost the FCBA flyweight title to Natalie in a 7 round war that ended in a knockout, that being Natalie's last title.

The build up to the fight saw Anna be asked about how she is feeling after a hectic three weeks that has seen her fight Elizabeth Henstridge on PPV, fight Emma Roberts on the Doll ball last week and now Natalie.

Anna gives her normal winning smile before she answers "it's been fun in all honesty, hard of course but I welcome getting in the ring even as it hasn't been a successful period"

The subject changes to Natalie with Anna saying "she is a true legend and I am so glad I get a chance at her again, I hope I've learned from my first fight with her to get a win over her"

She tells the press "next year me and Brie (Larsson) are going to be champions" winking as she heads into her stables gym.

Natalie finishes up on the weights before she heads over to talk to the journalists, she nods to them to begin asking the questions.

With her asked about Anna, she tells them "I like her as I believe everyone does, one of the great people outside the ring and is a tough fighter inside the ring"

She continues "but she hasn't the killer instinct to be a great in the ring, I have proven I have that time and again, I'll prove it again when the bell rings this Friday"

Her last statement is to the rest of the division, saying "I have heard rumours around the locker rooms that people think I am going to ease up, maybe I am slowing down, trust me I am far from finished and my legacy is going to grow even bigger"

Fight night; out comes Anna with Brie and their coach by her sides, she waves to the fans with a big smile on her face as she heads to the ring.

She is wearing a red sports bra with white stripes down the sides, matching trunks, red shoes and white gloves with red thumbs, her hair is in ponytail.

Stepping into the ring; she does a lap inside the ring weaving to her fans, before settling into her corner with her coach telling her that she has to use all her focus and training to win this fight.

Out comes Natalie with Mila Kunis backing her up with their coach, Natalie bounces on her toes and stares down at the ring before she begins her walk to the ring, eyes locked on that ring.

She is wearing a white sports bra with blue trim, matching trunks with baby blue gloves and white shoes, her hair is also in a ponytail.

Climbing into the ring; Natalie gives the crowd a pump of her fist before she gets fully focused as she begins her warm up, showing off her hand speed with a drill her coach runs her through.

The fighters come to the ring center and nod at each other as they meet, their eyes show how much this means to them as they stare straight at each other, Anna with a small grin on her face.

They touch gloves when asked to and Anna wishes Natalie luck, with Natalie nodding before they turn and head back to their corners, ready to start off 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
The fighters start off the round fighting at range, landing stiff jabs to the others cheeks as they move up on their toes.
Natalie looks to be the one to apply real pressure as she steps in close to land two punches across the cheeks of her opponent, making Anna back off from her and fire counter punches to keep her back.
The next time Natalie looks to come in close, Anna moves to the side and counters with a straight to the side of Portman's cheek to turn her head.
Anna starts to control the pace of the fight with her hand speed looking to give her the advantage, slamming punches into the cheeks of Natalie to force the legend to cover up.
Late in the round Natalie manages to slip under a straight and lands a right under the ribs of Kendrick, the Black Swan star forces Anna to cover up as she starts working the body.
The bell rings to end a tightly fought opener, Anna looks excited as she heads back to her corner compared to the more business like Natalie.
Round 2:
Natalie is looking to be the aggressor from the bell, when she lands cleanly with her jab, she is following up with combo punches to force her opponent to the outside as she takes the ring center.
The counter punches of Anna are still giving Natalie some trouble as Natalie misses with a straight and takes an overhand left to the side of her face.
But when Anna looks to move inside to work, Natalie catches her flush with a jab to the top of her head, with a right/left cross combo turning Anna's head.
Anna tightens her guard up as Natalie looks for openings, drilling punches into the gloves of the Diamond boxing fighter to keep that guard high.
Then she feints up top and drills a right into the gut of Anna, who groans and is met with a follow up double jab to her mouth to knock her backwards.
Natalie turns the heat up on Kendrick as she forces her onto the ropes, where Anna looks to fight back, leading to a fiery exchange to end the round as the bell sounds.
The Hawkeye corner looking happy with the way Natalie was able to dictate the action, Mila nods and smiles at her friend as they talk about the round.
Round 3:
As expected Natalie looks to lead the round on the front foot, firing at jab at the head of Kendrick, who is moving around side to side more to make her opponent miss more often.
Natalie does manage to land a double jab to the head of Anna, just missing with the follow up right cross as Anna dances back out the way.
As Natalie tries to close off the ring to force Anna into a tight space, she misses with a straight as Anna dips under it, Anna counters with an uppercut to knock Natalie back.
Suddenly there's a change in momentum as Anna surprises Natalie with her aggressiveness, slamming punches through the mitts of Portman to drive her back across the ring.
Natalie's back touches a set of ropes as she tries to cover up against a flurry of punches from her opponent, ending up needing to clinch up with Anna.
The fighters touch foreheads in the clinch, eyes locked as the referee has to push them apart, allowing Natalie to escape off the ropes.
When they are told to fight, Natalie tries to step forwards to reassert her control, but Anna sidesteps her and lands a right across her face.
The bell rings to end the round with Anna nodding over to Brie and her coach as she rushes back to them, looking excited after a great round for her.
Round 4:
Back out comes Anna with more confidence it seems, she is looking more attack minded with her movement, sticking and moving to keep Natalie guessing where the attack is coming from.
Natalie tries to charge her in frustration, only leading to her missing with a straight and taking a counter right across her cheek as Anna makes her pay.
The younger fighter is now the one controlling the pace, still taking some stiff jabs from Natalie, but mostly dodging and striking with precise counters to score points.
Another missed left from Natalie leaves her open to an overhand left and a follow up uppercut, Natalie looks a little shaky as Anna begins to knock her head backwards.
Leading to a clinch from Portman, Mila can be heard screaming at her friend to refocus as the referee splits the fighters apart.
Natalie covers up more as Anna now takes the ring center and is herding Natalie around the ring, throwing single punches as she looks for an opening in Natalie's defences.
The round ends with Anna mouthing "yes" to her corner as she jogs back, Brie is looking excited too as her friend sits on her stool, Brie washes down Anna as their coach tells Anna what to do now she is starting to get to Natalie.
Who is sitting on her stool across the ring fuming, Mila and her coach work on reducing the swelling around her cheeks as they tell Natalie to stop sitting on her punches as much, use her fight winning jab to get in close and bash Anna into next week is the advice.
Round 5:
Natalie clearly heeds that advice as both women start off with stiff jabs, measuring each other up before Natalie slips under a straight and starts working away in close.
It's clear that Natalie wants to stop Anna's speed advantage by making them fight as if in a phone box, both fighters heads rub as they work the others bodies.
Anna steps back and tries to lash out two punches at the head of her opponent, who simply bobs her head out the way before drilling a hard right into the liver area of Kendrick.
A cry escapes the lips of Anna and she retreats as Natalie's expression changes as her eyes light up, Natalie is straight into the face of Anna to drive her towards a corner.
Those body shots Natalie is lighting up Anna with are certainly having an effect, Anna is gasping and she pulls Natalie into a desperate clinch, with Natalie sneaking in kidney shots till the referee gets involved and warns her to keep things clean.
Anna seems in survival mode; retreating around the outside of the ring and firing jabs out that don't look to have a real sting to them.
Which is allowing Natalie to get inside to work, bashing the body of Anna; who has to keep holding her to stop the assault.
The round ends to open relief in the Diamond corner, Anna slowly walks to her corner cradling her body as that liver shot seems to have ready done damage.
Meanwhile Natalie stays standing in her corner, enjoying getting sponged down and a drink, looking to get back at Anna.
Round 6:
Anna still looks winded as she comes out, moving and using her jab as a shield to seems to try and catch out Natalie coming at her.
Till Natalie slips under a jab and lands an uppercut that knocks Anna's head back, TWO HARD BODY SHOTS MAKE ANNA SPIT HER GUMSHIELD OUT AND FALLS TO ALL FOURS!
Natalie pumps her right fist in the air as she heads to a neutral corner, 1...2...3 Anna cradles her body as she sucks in air, 4...5...6....7 Anna looks up with tears in her eyes, 8....9....10 and ends up being counted out!

Winner Natalie Portman KO Round 6

After:
Natalie struts around the ring with her arms in the air, while Anna needs to be checked on by her coach and Brie, she apologizes to them as she gets into a kneeling position and watches the winner celebrating.

After both have gotten back to their corners and gloves taken off, Natalie shows compassion as she heads across the ring to check on Anna, who smiles and says she'll be OK soon enough.

With both coming to the center of the ring, Natalie soon gets her hand raised to a loud cheer and Anna applauds her as she shows off her sportswomanship.

Anna gives Natalie a hand shake and tells her "keep kicking ass" with a wink, Natalie laughing and shaking her head as Anna is a very rare breed in this sport.

With Anna leaving the ring with Brie and her coach, she has to be asking herself how she can find success again as she is going through a real rough patch right now.

In the ring though sees Natalie posing for cameras, Mila gives her a hug as the two joke about what they can do to celebrate, Mila talking about night clubs compared to Natalie just wanting to go back to the hotel and watch movies.

They leave the ring with big smiles as they head to the back, Natalie continues to grow her legendary career and will look for another title to add to it next year.
