CBAD: Jessica Clements vs Elyse Knowles (Lightweight)

BEFORE:
We’re live at the Anaheim Sports and Recreational Centre in downtown Miami, where we have a sponsored, officially sanctioned fight about to take place between two prospective Free Agents. This event is of course proudly sponsored by VIXENs, and scheduled for ten rounds of Lightweight action.

Jessica Clements may be making her debut here, but she’s already garnered two wins over in the BBU, where she first made her mark. Elyse Knowles a stunning Australian model who’s had mixed success in the FCBA with a win and a loss so far. Hopefully the outcome this afternoon will determine her prospects for the future.

Little fanfare for such an exhibition match, but Jessica coming out from backstage wearing a white cut-off tee and a pair of mini gym shorts draws a couple of hoots from members of the audience. She’s wearing red gloves as her trainer talks her down with the final details. Elyse next to enter from the opposite direction, the blonde dressed in a black bikini covered by a white shawl. She’s boxing in blue gloves today as she enters the ring too.

Referee calls for a start to this contest, and girls decide to bump fists out of respect (such a rarity nowadays), before they head back to corners and await the bell. There’s the wave of the hand and HERE we go!

ROUND 1:
Explosive start from blonde corner as the Australian model looks like she wants to brawl! Jessica stunned when the fists start sailing in early, forced to cover up her head as the incoming jabs dominate the action in the first minute. Elyse grinning and brimming with energy, determined to win this crucial match-up. She finds success in hitting a slower-moving Clements, who can’t quite decide what she wants to do in there, and thereby gets punched in the mouth repeatedly for her indecision. Only in the final minute does Jessica manage to get away to catch her breath, and the round ends with both girls at distance, but Elyse still trying to close it with lunging shots, and Jess just completely spooked and moving backwards from the action. Wide round to the Aussie hottie as a result.

ROUND 2:
More controlled action once Clements finds her bearings. Elyse still coming onto her strongly, but now Jessica can anticipate her movements, diligently scooting backwards and sideways to avoid. Elyse hitting some trouble as her punches are now barely landing, occasionally tucking in the cheek and belly but mostly hitting the arms. Jessica’s turn to test her defences, as the brunette starts off BIG with a hook out of nowhere that dazzles the torso, then another bangs off of Elyse’s arms and rattles her badly. Knowles just wasn’t expecting such early action to take place, now sent packing back to her own corner as Jessica puts the pressure on with jabs until the final second. Close round overall but we think Jessica might be taking it this time.

ROUND 3:
Girls resume their dancing in the first minute, with Clements instinctively heading backwards and Elyse in the opposite direction. Once again the blonde’s punches are missing their targets, and suddenly Jessica breaks ranks and reverses course, SLAMS a right hook into the oncoming girl’s frame! OUCH. That body shot must have hurt her badly, as she’s stunned for a moment, holding her side in agony, and this is Jessica’s cue to continue the abuse! More side-swings making her look bad as Elyse is pushed backwards one step at a time. But she manages to duck under another swing by Jess, then clinch up with her fellow model, with arms wrapped under the elbows and encircling the chest. Clements still flailing about and trying to beat her fists on the body, but her eyes widen with shock as she’s the one getting wailed on instead, with Knowles’ fists spanking the ribs and the side of the head. She’s just not used to clinch-warfare yet, allowing Knowles to steal the round from right under her.

ROUND 4:
Nostrils flaring in between rounds as Jessica laments losing that last one to such underhanded tactics. But hey, that’s boxing for you, and those are the rules. But that frustration would explain why she suddenly explodes forward in the first minute, determined to get some payback. Elyse with wide eyes as she gets a little taste of her own medicine, especially when the right hand SHOCKS her to the middle of her arms - she’s driven back some more with strapping right hands - punches that Jessica’s pulling back before unleashing full throttle. Elyse doing her best to fight back, but her ins jabs landing on the chin and belly don’t need to bother Clements at this point. Hook to the guard rattles the blonde with another OUFFF, then another and another smack into her face hard, literally FORCING the Aussie girl straight down to the ground! What a KNOCKDOWN for Jessica Clements!

Elyse panting hard on her side, trying to raise her head off the ground, but her eyes are still shut and lips pursed in pain. It’s going to be a long slog to recover, with the referee already at 6 and she’s barely off her chest here. Jessica patiently waiting in corner, breathing hard but still looking ready to go another ten rounds. But she doesn’t have to this time: referee reaches the count of 10, and Elyse is still on her knees! He waves it over!

Official Decision: Jessica Clements defeats Elyse Knowles via KO4!

AFTER:
Dominant display of power and speed from Jess Clements, making her FCBA debut with a win and whoop of celebration in the air. Her coach and team are equally elated as they embrace her in the corner for well-deserved congratulations. So far, she’s done well for herself over in Europe, and there’s little reason why she can’t find the same success over in her native America. Maybe one day we’ll even see her on the PPV!

Elyse left to herself, being tended to by the medics, with a deep cut on her lower lip starting to swell from those nasty hooks to the face. Her future still seems bright if she keeps on trying in there, and hopefully she’ll find a place to call home as well. For now, we thank you for joining us for this afternoon of boxing action. Trust us - we didn’t expect it to be this short either
