Emma:
(28, 5’6, 22:20 FCBA, VIXENs)

BEFORE:
After her *second* shot at the title belt, Emma Watson forced to consider where she will go exactly from here, and she being bested by a former stablemate just made the loss sting even more. Hopefully though, tonight she'll manage to soothe that wound a little bit.

“Kristin was one of the main reasons why I chose to leave the Consortium,” the Brit opens the interview with a frank confession, if we've ever heard one. “She thought I was going to take her place, or some bollocks. But she never told me she felt that way to my face. That’s the reason I never looked back when I left HISC. Well, not until now…”

Kristin with a stern expression throughout her opponent's words, finally speaking up with a low and grave voice: “I don't know what the f*ck ginger's talking about. She left because she sucked. Period. She can talk all she wants about conspiracy theories and what nots, but the fact remains is that she didn't measure up. And what else can I say about this fight tonight that hasn't been said already?” the HISC fighter suddenly getting all worked up as she fixes her hair at the table.

“Emma lost against Mishy, and now she wants to prove that she can fight against another HISC fighter. It smacks of desperation, and I'm gonna prove why she deserved to get kicked out in the first place.”

The staredown at the podium is understandably tense, with both ladies coming face to face with their eyes fixed on each other and their hands firmly on hips. Emma dressed in modest black sports bra and grey tights, wearing a pair of white gloves for this contest. Kristin going for a white loose top, denim short jeans for bottoms, shadow boxing in red gloves as she strides down the ramp.

One girl's about to come out short at the end of these ten rounds. Referee waves to start and HERE we go!!

ROUND 1:
Girls meeting in the center from the very start, begin snapping punches into each other’s frames before the first cheers even erupt. There’s some real animosity here evident from the sheer tenacity each girl’s displaying as they rock the body and then shock the guard more with a multitude of punches, each girl taking care to put some power into each swing. Kristin targeting her former stablemate’s head, trying to knock her the f*ck out good and early and cement her leaving the Consortium as fully justified. Emma however blocking most of the shots with calm and confidence, before banging her own fists off of Kreuk’s body from afar. The HISC starlet grunting as she finds herself being pushed backwards from the shots that land off her sides and ribs, forcing her to lower her guard to protect. Emma wisely capitalising, slapping a couple of quick hands into the nostrils to seal the deal, and Kreuk is left holding both her head and tummy by the end of the bell. A good round to open for Watson as she raises a hand on her way back to corner.

ROUND 2:
Kreuk needs to keep her emotions in check, no matter how she feels about Emma leaving the company and now finding success in another. The older woman keeping her wits about her in this round, however, keeping her hands close to her chest and circling widely. Emma slightly perplexed but giving chase, hoping to built on her spectacular first round. But it doesn’t go too well for the Brit, who constantly gets hounded by stray jabs that land on her face, as Kristin picks her shots and at the same time retreats to keep distance. Emma’s swings negated as a result, missing plenty of shots and looking out-classed all of a sudden. Last minute and Kreuk goes back on the offensive, sending a combination into the forearms before whacking fists off Emma’s tummy in wide, cutting swaths into her defences and sending her grunting back into the ropes for cover. Bell rings soon after and it’s Kreuk’s turn to sing her own praises. Girls at a round a piece with no indications of slowing down!

ROUND 3:
Now that both women have gotten a taste of power, they essential throw caution to the wind and charge towards each other once more! And it was all going so well for a brief moment… now Emma rocking the nose and lips with surgical strikes say in close quarters, making Kreuk pay for getting in too close. Kreuk eating another stiff hook to the face which torques her torso to the side, but she comes back snarling, burying a left-right into the Brit’s body before driving her back with some deliberate shots into her chest and also below the waistline. Emma lets out sharp gasps at the violation but keeps on swinging, targeting Kreuk’s facel till the actress has no choice but to retreat to prevent her being sent to the ground. Crowds of course loving all this back-and-forth action, even as Emma tries to give chase but finds Kreuk’s legs still working fine. She stays away for the rest of the round as a result. Some good action from both corners here, but Emma’s late minute dominance means she’s going to take this round comfortably.

ROUND 4:
Round 4 is spent catching their breaths, but that doesn’t mean neither girl’s landing shots. Emma taking the first minute and a half as she continues stalking her former stablemate with jabs, hounding the head and body as she assumes Kreuk is on her last legs. But Kristin is merely trying to use her speed to evade, waiting until Watson has tired herself out before she begins her own swift attacks in the second half. Emma letting out a yelp as her cheek packed in hard with a side hook all of a sudden, stunning her mid-charge and almost making her lose her balance there and then. Kristin gleaming behind her gloves, forcing the head back some more with straight shots landing into her adversary’s nose and lips, sending her reeling backwards. Last thirty seconds and both of them looking butt-hurt and just trying to recover from the mutual abuse. Understandably, the round ends in a draw. Much as these two women have disdain for one another, there’s no denying how they’ve been able to match each other blow for blow thus far.

ROUND 5:
Emma getting ROCKED to the face early this round, not expecting a sudden rush by Kristin and another flurry sent into her stomach only the prelude to huge right hands that end up wailing away at her face. Her guard barely up and flimsy as she takes a couple of hard shots into the chin and mouth before she ducks under a third hook and opts to clinch up with Kreuk in the middle of the ring. Wild snarling as both girls pushing and shoving, tummies and hips banging into each other. Kristin still going after Emma’s head up top, determined to chug away regardless. But Watson freeing one hand and swiping low at her foe’s tummy, drawing gasps of pain and widened eyes from Kreuk, who’s struggling to get out of the embrace by any means possible at this point. Thankfully, the referee decides to do his job, separating them mid-way, and Emma, smiling, thinks she’s gotten the best of that exchange. But Kreuk has a surprise waiting for her, WIPING that smirk off her face suddenly with an immediately uppercut that connects with her chin! OUCH. Emma flying backwards as her head snapped up into the sky, only saved from being flattened on her back by hitting the ropes behind her. But no mercy from Kreuk, who RUSHES in with fire in her eyes! Emma groaning as she’s forced to endure on the ropes, head hammered in from the sides by hooks and then tummy swiped at below as well. Bell rings and Kreuk can’t resist a last drill of a right hand into the body, folding the Brit over in half with her lip quivering. Referee quickly herds her away to prevent further illegal action, leaving Watson to sink down to her knees in agony. Well, at least she managed to survive the round.

ROUND 6:
Emma’s certainly become a choice brawler in recent times, abandoning her defensive-fighting style and getting comfortable with getting into her opponent’s face. Sometimes it works; others, it doesn’t. And against someone like Kreuk, however, whom she’s sparred with relentless before, it doesn’t. Kristin either keeping her distance or firing back with equal power in close quarters, and this round, she too looks eager to brawl. Emma still hurt from the previous round, looking wary as she comes out of her corner. But Kristin flying forward by contrast, again ROCKING her to the middle of her arms with a right cross powered inwards. Emma barely stopping it as it is, thrown back a couple of steps in panic. But she switches focus to her defences and doesn’t fight it, keeping herself moving out of Kreuk’s range. Kristin pursuing, jabbing continuously at the head but only managing scores off her body. Only in the second minute does she find some success with grazing Watson on the side of her face as a long jab goes right through undefended. Resultant shock is enough for Kristin to jump in and knock her head back-and-forth, before PUTTING EMMA DOWN with a right hook straight into the cheek! UGHHH. Watson thudding down onto one side with a dull grunt and groan, leaving her rival with the first KNOCKDOWN of the evening!

Kristin’s chest puffing out as she roars from above, finally releasing all her bad feelings in a moment of pure adrenaline.

“YOU LIKE THAT, HUH, EMS? HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE ON THE GROUND THIS TIME??”

Referee counting her out steadily, and to her credit, Emma is doing her best to ignore the noises and taunting around her, as she climbs back up using the ropes for support. She makes it back up by the count of 8, but that pretty face looking as uncertain as ever, marred by shades of pink and red.

ROUND 7:
It honestly doesn’t look good for the Brit as we enter the last quarter of this fight. She’s nodding furiously in Head Trainer Corey Saucier’s direction, asking her if she’s alright to continue. The Harry Potter starlet has determination, that’s for sure, coming through a lot worse in terms of abuse and criticism in the past. Kristin on the other hand in no better shape, the last of her reserves almost expanded as well as she heaves and sucks in deep breaths on her stool. Bell rings to start the seventh and they slowly move towards each other, testing shots up high but flinching at the mere sight of an incoming punch. Emma in particular showing much more caution and resistance, keeping herself at a distance each time Kristin comes forward. A slower Kreuk having trouble hitting her mark by result, and the long exertion on her body not helping things either for the 36-year old. Watson as a result manages to score repeatedly on her face as she switches back to her good old defensive, counter fighting, using her opponent’s momentum to score devastating shots each time she comes forward. The three minutes are up and both women were not in any real danger this time, but what must be a devastating loss for Kreuk as she fails to the take the subsequent round after a knockdown.

ROUND 8:
Emma on the path back to finding her groove here in the eighth, keeping to her defensive strategy in the first few seconds until she realises that Kreuk’s in no shape to charge at her anyways. Kristin hanging back, drawing heavy breaths and hands wavering in front of her face. HERE comes Watson, switching gears on a dime, first rocking the face back with a stiff straight shot sent down the middle, with Kreuk either too tired or too slow to react in time. She’s beaten backwards one step at a time, with Watson on her case every inch of the way by focusing on the head almost exclusively. A third hard WHACK into the nostrils has Kristin teary-eyed and sprawled back into the ropes. More whap whap hup hup into the body just window dressing, with Emma SCORING off the brunette’s chin with a spectacular follow-up hook, and DOWN GOES KREUK onto her side with a HOOOUFFF!!

KNOCKDOWN for Emma Watson! She comes back into this fight in breakthrough fashion! Referee having a field day going back and forth like this, now counting the gasping HISC starlet out, who’s trying to push her chest off the ground and make it up alive. Emma’s chest heaving as well, winded but still looking confident about her chances. She waits patiently in neutral corner, a smile creeping onto her lips when the ref finally hits the count of 10 and Kristin’s still on her knees there! It’s over!!

Official Decision: Emma Watson defeats Kristin Kreuk via KO8!

AFTER:
What a hard-fought match from either lady tonight! I believe both these women sincerely wanted the win, and more importantly really wanted to prove their worths to each other. Unfortunately, only one girl could prevail. With Kreuk winning their first outing all those years ago, now it’s Emma’s turn to have evened the score and cemented her comeback. It might have taken a whole lot of stables and a whole number of fights to get to this point, but beating Kristin must be some kind of validation for the British actress.

“I’m just elated. Completely in the clouds,” Emma beaming at reporters post-fight. “She tried to use some old tricks on me, like she did when I was still in the stable. But she didn’t expect me to fight with some new ones of my own...”

Kristin slumped on her butt with her back to the ropes, mouth open and getting checked over by medics. A disappointing loss for the veteran fighter tonight, but certainly not spelling the end of her already-illustrious career. Later, when she’s managed to find her voice again, she responds to the press in her own words.

“I didn’t expect her to get in my face - it’s not a mistake I’m going to make in our third fight. Yes, there will be most certainly be a third fight, in which we’ll finally see who’s the better fighter in the ring.”
