Luisana Lopilato versus Olivia Wilde

Luisana:
(31, 5’6, 115, 14:5 FCBA, VIXENS)

Olivia:
(34, 5’7, 27:18 FCBA, Bazz Fight Club)

BEFORE:
Not a great beginning to Olivia Wilde's ambitions in the ring, falling to Kat Winnick in the previous Doll Ball and now forced to face more mid-tier competition in the form of Luisana Lopilato.

Blonde Vixen not liking that description of herself one bit, speaking her mind at the press conference backstage.

“I know I've had some hits and misses, but wow…. Olivia's had a LOT more misses than me. It's a wonder how and why she's ranked so highly still. I’m coming into this fight looking to take her down fast and quick. She's a gatekeeper and I intend to get past her tonight!” Luisana nodding with a smile.

Olivia still looking sublime in her wavy white blouse and loose bell bottoms, contemplating her slow decline ever since she lost the Bantamweight title to Troian Bellisario all those years ago.

“That was a bitter moment for me,” she begins. “But I’ve learnt to move on and learn from my mistakes. I’ve fought some of the best in the business before you even put your gloves on, Luisa, so I wouldn’t underestimate me tonight.”

Though tough words were exchanged, both women do end up shaking hands at the podium, then head backstage to get ready for their entrance into the arena. Luisana going to fight in a red lingerie set, hints of skin covered by that white shawl around her shoulders as she walks down the ramp and waves to her fans. Olivia going for a black sports bra, even blacker tights, focused on her blonde opponent in the ring as she’s next to come down.

Once in the ring and final prep is done, the referee calls for the match to begin. There’s the fist bump and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!!

ROUND 1:
Luisana finding some success with strapping big shots that stun Olivia from the very start, with the leaner brunette not dodging much and instead soaking up the punishment with her guard. Luisana capitalising on the fact that her opponent's so eager to get in close for her to hit, doesn't hesitate one bit and just hammers away. Olivia grunting loudly as the punches ram into her sides but mostly taken in her arms. Still, Lopilato's power is nothing to sneeze at, and she keeps getting thrashed about even as she's unable to return fire shot for shot. Wilde just looking plain outclassed by the time the three minutes are up, barely managing a couple of short hands grazing into Luisana's chin and nothing else. The Vixen takes it for herself.

ROUND 2:
Olivia apparently hasn't learnt her lesson as she comes forward whilst keeping her head down, only to absorb another right hook direct into her arms. It seems to have rattled her slightly, but as Luisana pulls back to exert another shocker, Olivia gets there first and whacks her across the chin most stiffly! Ouch! It's the blonde who ends up being stunned here with the leaner girl packing speed over power, ending up with a reversal of roles. Olivia focused at this point, whap whap whapping straight jabs off the nostrils as Luisana forces herself to cover up instead. Those short snaps to the face not doing much damage individually, but they're slowly starting to add up, and definitely resulting in more and more points for Wilde's corner. Last minute and the standoff is a stalemate, with Luisana swinging hard for the fences and spooking Olivia enough to make her jump back to safety once again, though it's too late for her at this point to salvage the round for herself.

ROUND 3:
Girls with a round each and having done so in dominant fashion. Suddenly the result of this fight doesn't look so clear cut anymore. Luisana hesitant to throw down as well, especially now that she's gotten a taste of Olivia's speed demons. Wilde on the other hand pushing her advantage after a slow first minute, slowly pestering the head and body as she slides in left, jabs a couple, then slides the other way and does the same. Luisana losing out as a result as her body left undefended, with Wilde getting close enough to wreck havoc almost unhindered. The Vixen still trying to exert her power on her foe, though not having much success at hitting a moving target. Round ends and Olivia standing triumphant once more, smiling widely as she raises a fist back to corner. Whatever promise Luisana was showing earlier on is quickly fading away from her.

ROUND 4:
It's only the fourth and this fight is growing more and more lopsided. Olivia back to her strategy for the past two rounds, continuing what ain't broke in her opinion. And she certainly has a point with Luisana not being able to provide an answer to her speed thus far in the fight. Even after the pep talk by Head Trainer Steve Boyd in the corner, the Vixen still getting bandied about and hounded across the ring, with Olivia's punches getting wilder and wilder as she gains greater confidence. Only until the final minute does Luisana find some much needed success for herself: lips eating a quick one-two stinging jabs but subsequently manages to deflect the followup hook from Olivia. The punch rattles off her arm and the back draft actually makes Wilde stumble slightly back - she wasn't expecting *that* rigid of a defense, not at this point. Wilde shocked further when a hook crashes into the side of her face moments later, then Luisana's follow up jabs tagging her all over the face until she's forced to retreat! Olivia's back hits the ropes, breathing hard, but the bell saves her from complete disaster by stopping Lopilato in mid-charge towards her. Phew. Some signs of a comeback right there but it's still too early to say for sure!

ROUND 5:
Olivia still looking rocked by that last offensive, coming out of corner on shaky feet. No such qualms from Lopilato however, as the blonde knows an opportunity when she sees one. She's back to her earlier self as she ROCKS the side of Olivia's head with a power hook, almost sending her off her feet there and then! Olivia with a yelp of panic as she goes flying left, supported by the ropes still. But Luisana chasing after, continuing to strafe the body with thundering lefts and rights, folding her opponent over in half on the ropes. A bit of time wasted when Wilde clinches up (wisely), keeping the abuse at bay for now with the two women wrestling and twisting about on the ropes. Last few seconds and Luisana finally manages to break free, banging another hook into the arms before stuffing an uppercut up into the sternum. She's taken this round back for herself, and she knows it, hopefully meaning that the momentum is finally back on her side.

ROUND 6:
Wilde getting sapped by the minute, and as the rounds stop serving her, she's looking increasingly worse for wear. Luisana winded only by contrast, still pushing herself forward at the bell especially now when she knows she's got her opponent on the ropes. Wilde covering the head up in nick of time when another right cross nails her straight down the middle. Another and another crash in in quick succession and FINALLY there's a loud GASP from Olivia's lips, with that last straight hand punching through and through and smashing straight into her lips! UGHH. Head goes snapping back and the rest of Wilde's body following - she's sent down to the canvas on her back by a decisive KNOCKDOWN!! Referee is already by her side but it's no use - she's out cold!!

Official Decision: Luisana Lopilato defeats Olivia Wilde via KO6!

AFTER:
A classic back and forth match between worthy opponent's here, with Luisana coming out on top eventually with her power over speed. The Vixen definitely seeking to surpass her other stablemates in the division, and hopefully walk away with a title shot one day.

“I'm not thinking that far ahead,” she laughs when asked ringside. “I'm just glad that I won tonight. Wilde put up a heck of a fight, so kudos to her as well.”
