Intro:
Now we are into the second fight of the International Cup, Lyndsy Fonseca will be hoping to keep the winning streak going for Team USA, while Naomi Scott is looking to even things up for Team Rest of the World.

Lyndsy is 32 years old; she stands 5'5 and holds a record of 10 wins, 7 by knockout, with 14 defeats.

Naomi is 25 years old; she stands 5'6 and holds a record of 1 win, that by way of knockout and 1 defeat.

The build up saw the two speak at the press conference for the event, first up the two confident women come face to face, grinning as they look each other over before they head to their seats.

Lyndsy was given the chance to speak first as she heads up to the podium wearing a white blouse, blue jeans and black heels.

"Hey guys! I have to thank Vanessa (Hudgens) so much for putting me in the team this year, I watched last years event and loved it, I hope I can help bring home the trophy again" says an excited Lyndsy.

Who continues "OK so I have to talk about you Naomi, I guess you were cool in Power Rangers but I certainly am not going to be playing with kid gloves when that bell rings, I am going to use you to remind these guys that I am on the up"

Lyndsy vacates the podium for Naomi, who just laughs as she passes her by to do her own speech, wearing a flowery patterned dress.

"Emma (Watson) and me have gotten to know each other at awards show and such, so I had a few hints coming into this event that she might be getting the captaincy and I might be getting a call" Naomi grins as she admits she had some insider information at her spot in the team.

"So you think you can knock me out? If it weren't so funny I might take offence Lyndsy, you have proven you are nothing in that ring, while I know I can take you down" Naomi tells Lyndsy, who just grins back as Naomi returns to her seat.

Fight night in the TD Garden in Boston, Lyndsy comes out with team coach Julie Benz, she bounces on her toes down the aisle, smiling as she looks confident.

She is wearing a red sports bra with USA flag pattern on her trunks "Fonseca" in white on her waistband, white gloves and blue shoes, her hair is in a ponytail.

After stepping into the ring; she jogs over to her corner to mount the bottom ropes, raising her fists above her head as she enjoys the cheers of the crowd.

Naomi now comes out with team coach Steve Boyd beside her, she shadow boxes at the top of the aisle before she begins to march down to the ring.

She is wearing a blue sports bra with a Union Jack style pattern trunks that have "Scott" in red on the waistband, blue gloves and shoes, while her hair is also in a ponytail.

She gets into the ring with a grin as she heads over to her corner, looking relaxed as she warms up with Steve telling her to keep to the game plan tonight and everything will fall into place.

Both women head to the center of the ring at the referees prompt, they keep shaking their arms to keep them limber as they grin.

When asked to touch gloves they swipe them together, then jog back to their corners ready to begin 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
As the action begins the difference in styles is clear to see, Naomi is looking to be the aggressor coming on the front foot, compared to the stick and move tactics of Lyndsy.

It is Lyndsy who looks to have come out the blocks the quicker, dodging punches before countering cleanly through the gloves of her opponent.

Naomi lands a jab/straight combo to keep Lyndsy in front of her for some more power punches to knock her back several steps, the Brit looking to drive her onto the ropes with head shots.

She misses with a right hook though as Fonseca dips under it, countering with an overhand left to turn the head of Scott to the side.

Lyndsy able to move into space to get back on her bike, annoying Naomi with that quick movement as she continues to slip punches to counter.

The round ends with Lyndsy confidebtly strutting back to her corner after a strong opening round, one that has Julie in her corner even shedding a smile.

Round 2:
Lyndsy looks to keep up her momentum, jabbing away at the body of Naomi as she moves around her, while the Brit stalks her around the ring.

As Lyndsy goes to duck down to come up with an overhand shot, Naomi lands a double jab to the top of her head that backs her up.

Then Naomi lands a right cross as Lyndsy's old frailties are showing themselves as she is driven back with her guard too open, Naomi landing straight between her mitts onto her face.

Allow Naomi to bash Lyndsy towards the ropes, where the older fighter has to clinch up with her, the referee needed to break them apart as Naomi trash talks her opponent.

Once apart she looks to keep on the attack, with Lyndsy boxing off her back foot, both are landing some good single punches square onto the others face.

Late in the round Lyndsy manages to land a right to the body, she gets a clipping right around her ear though as the bell rings, making rub it as she looks annoyed at Naomi, who smirks as she returns to her corner.

Round 3:
Now both are fully warmed up; they are landing great shots as Lyndsy continues to be the more mobile fighter, compared to Naomi looking to walk her down.

With Naomi catching her opponent on her nose with a straight shot, a follow up left cross opens up Lyndsy to more punches that knock her head back as she retreats.

Lyndsy shows some guild to duck another straight, this time she uses her left shoulder to bump Scott onto her heels, ripping an uppercut into her chin to knock her backwards.

It's Naomi on the back foot now as Lyndsy comes on the attack, the How I Met Your Mother star getting more freedom to work as Naomi goes into a shell.

Lyndsy seems to be especially targeting the body, with straight shots the gut that opens up Naomi up top for punches into her face.

With the round coming towards a close; Lyndsy has Naomi near the ropes, where she tries to pin the Brit with a right cross that Naomi leans out the way of, a counter left cross slams into the side of Fonseca's head as the bell rings.

Both fighters stare angrily at the other before they return to their corners, though Lyndsy gets praise by Julie to calm her down.

Round 4:
Again the fighters clash near the center of the ring, Lyndsy winning the opening exchange by slipping a straight punch to drill in two body shots, then moves back out to range when she gets clipped to the head.

The experience of Lyndsy is showing in the early going, she keeps dodging to open up counters, with most of her work continuing to the body.

Naomi though won't be kept out too easily, landing to the head of her opponent with clipping shots, till she is able to catch Lyndsy with an uppercut as the American dips down.

That lifts up Fonseca into more straight shots into her face to back her up, when she goes to clinch she is shoved back, Naomi continuing to assault her back towards the ropes.

Lyndsy needing to duck down to clinch up around the waist of her opponent, the referee quick to break them apart so they can continue.

With Scott the one on the front foot; Lyndsy struck behind her gloves as the Brit makes sure to be in her face, landing her own hooks to the body to force groans from the American.

Who tries to slug it out with Naomi to a loud roar from the crowd, the dying seconds of the round sees both feet planted as sweat flies off them till the bell rings to end it.

The fighters are both marked up now as they are wanting to just knock the other out, their coaches are given them advice as they sit on their stools being washed down.

Round 5:
Both fighters come out with a head of steam behind them, they are trading around the ring as Naomi isn't going to give Lyndsy the room she wants to move.

But Lyndsy is showing some guile with little nudges to keep the gap open, where she can sidestep Naomi when straight punches come at her.

Naomi though catches her with a left cross as Lyndsy tries to slip in that direction, three more follow up punches snap the head back of the older woman as she finds herself backed up towards a set of ropes, Lyndsy clinches up to stop any more punishment coming.

Once they are apart; Lyndsy slips a straight to go to work on the body of Naomi, who is grunting out louder as she ends up getting driven back several steps.

Back and forth goes the momentum; one minute Lyndsy is able to use her slickness to dodge then counter, next minute Naomi catches her with a hook to open up her opponent for bigger shots.

The round comes to a close with both frustrated that they seemingly can't break this deadlock, exchanging a few taunts before they return to their corners to unhappy corners, they get a pep talk to go out and show their best.

Round 6:
As the action begins; Lyndsy looks to continue being elusive as she jabs to the body of her opponent, a right hook catches her on her temple to stun her!

Naomi sees a wobble to those legs and begins to throw a flurry into the face of Lyndsy, knocking her into the ropes where she will look to finish.

But desperately Lyndsy grabs on in a clinch, she can be seen blinking to clear her head as a chant breaks out to try to get her to rally.

After the referee breaks them up though; it is clear that Lyndsy is still having problems, her guard is too low which is leading to her shipping punches onto her face, with blood starting to trickle from her nose.

Again Fonseca finds herself driven onto the ropes, where Scott does her best to try to break the guard with uppercuts, switching up to the body with hooks which look more successful judging by the grimace on her opponent's face.

Lyndsy needing to clinch up once more, she can be seen looking over at her corner for help, a bad sign to say the least as the referee breaks them apart.

It is just survival mode for Fonseca in the final minute of the round, while Scott stalks her around the ring with a hungry look, she wants to finish this as soon as possible.

The bell rings though before she can after a dominant round for Naomi, while Lyndsy looks worn out after that beating, getting worked on by her corner team as they try to revive her hopes for the next round.

Round 7:
Lyndsy is trying to get back on her bike to work but it's clear she has slowed down, enough for Naomi to be able to walk her down behind stiff straight punches to the face.

A desperate right hook from Lyndsy misses the mark as Naomi steps back; INSTEAD SHE'S OPEN TO A COUNTER LEFT HOOK TO THE CHIN THAT MAKES LYNDSY CRUMBLE TO THE CANVAS!

The referee nudges a taunting Naomi over to neutral corner before beginning the count, 1...2...3... Lyndsy lays on her side with a blank look on her face, 4...5...6...7.. The gumshield comes out of Lyndsy's mouth as 8...9...10 she is counted out!

Winner Naomi Scott KO Round 7

After:
That tied things up between the teams; Naomi raising her fists in the air as she looks proud of her handy work, while the ringside doctor rushes in to check on Lyndsy after such a brutal knockout.

The Rest of the World corner looks relieved as Naomi returns, this was far from am easy fight for her as Steve gives her a pat on the back for a good job.

While Lyndsy is helped to sit up after she wakes up, she is shedding tears as this was supposed to be a great moment for her career, instead she is looking up at Julie apologizing for letting the team down.

Julie shakes her head as she tells her "you were just unlucky babe, you showed you are more skillful then her, just got some work to do to become better defensively" with Lyndsy looking thankful for the kind words.

Though Lyndsy is helped out of the ring to applause from the crowd, she nods to the fans as she is helped to the USA locker room to be checked over.

In the ring Naomi and Steve are talking about what she can do to improve, Steve is full of praise for the young woman as she kisses his cheek as a thank you for his support.

The referee taps her back to signal to come to the center of the ring, where she gets her hand raised to a mixture of boos and some cheers, though mostly the former as she just laughs it off.

Soon enough after posing for the cameras, she leaves the ring with a beaming smile on her marked up face, maybe hoping someone in a stable has taken note of what she can do tonight.

Scoreboard: Team USA 1-1 Team ROW
