BEFORE: The writing is possibly on the wall for Irina Shayk who needs some wins to revive her highly uninspiring boxing career! Meanwhile Joy Corrigan completes her introduction triple having vanquished both Suki Waterhouse & Rosie Huntington-Whiteley the past couple of months. We are live in the Sunny Isles resort down in Florida where beach boxing action feels at home given the warm reception given to both contestants.

There's not much love between Russia & USA lately so one can excuse these models for throwing sand at each other during the introductions where Joy claims victory as she makes Irina cough up in discomfort... 

Irina Shayk wears a purple bikini set with white trim & blue gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Joy Corrigan wears a navy blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Irina must be still mad over that sand-throwing struggle as she BLASTS out of the gate to secure early connection with the blonde's face! Joy can be accused of being a little too cocky here and she gets spun backwards upon the initial impact while Irina barks in her head-hunting efforts which brings her more success. She tags the American on the right brow ridge and bursts into her chest following a quick close range tussle before finding another laser over the top that sinks the blonde on jelly knees! Ugh! Irina rockets another powerful hook on Corrigan's nose and traps the girl in the neutral corner where she adds more body strikes in the closing stages. Joy finds no response and survives the opener buried behind a tight earmuff.

Round 2:
Joy looks affected by that poor opener and gets outworked in close range as Irina tries to find more success upstairs. She jabs well enough to move the American across the loose surface but fails to dwarf the earmuff defense which makes Lioness coach Claudia Schiffer a little nervous in the corner. Joy's defensive guile hasn't been tested much in her short boxing career and she gives Shayk a perfect setting to land plenty of strikes alas the Russian fails to take full advantage and gets clinched into safety come the final minute. She wants the ref to help her out here but he sides with Corrigan and lets them wrestle it out along the ropes to run down the clock!

Round 3:
Irina seems upset over the blonde's clinching survival but she keeps misfiring early in the third as Joy begins to move around with more pace; she avoids another early thumping and lands a couple of nice strikes from the back foot which slows the brunette's down as well. Irina dances around the younger model but only lands single jabs here and allows Joy to loop more juice upstairs as the Lioness prospect slowly finds her range. The back & forth action results in a disappointing stalemate come the final stretch and the crowd demands more fireworks with Shayk actually soaking up more verbal heat for taking her foot off the gas for no valid reason!

Round 4:
Joy hasn't shaken off the desperate Russian and soaks up more punishment from the inside when a quick head-butt tangle throws the exchange wide open! There's no time for the ref to give the blonde a potential breather as Irina drives her mitts up her gut and neutralizes her through sheer workload alone. Ugh! Joy begins to wince in pain as she gets smacked on the boobs and wobbles into a dangerous uppercut that sends her reeling across the sand. Shayk pounces on the loose prey and traps her along the ropes but fails to put her away as the desperate earmuff allows Corrigan to survive the Russian onslaught. Ugh! Irina still drills the exposed ribcage but runs out of time to cash in with more beef and taunts the audience into a louder reaction!

Round 5:
Corrigan struggles to contain the aggressive brunette in mid-distance and finds no proper response in a slugging exchange that allows Irina to land more single strikes over the top. Now both models huff & puff in visible effort but the blonde ponytail spins around more often only for Shayk to miss on that piledriver that sends the American down for the count. Joy kicks more sand into the brunette's shins and almost trips onto her bums in a hectic defensive effort but it's safe to say Shayk provides more resistance than Waterhouse & Huntington-Whiteley combined as she rallies to shut the blonde down in the corner; she belts her right up the chimney and ignores a late uppercut rally that bounces off the jugs. They build 'em tough in Mother Russia too and Joy looks puzzled as she's fallen behind on the cards at half-distance!

Round 6:
No more smiles in the Lioness corner as Joy's bullying tactics has run out of spark and Irina just picks up the jabbing steam to pour more leather into the American's face early in the sixth! Target practice for the determined Russian who sends her foe reeling into the ropes but the premium power supply remains at large which allows Corrigan to surive in order. Clinching defense stalls the brunette's progress and Joy gets the luck of the call again which really makes Shayk angry. She belts the American in the groin and now she's in trouble while the crowd goes into jeering mood. Joy earns herself a much-needed breather but can't keep the Russian at bay forever and eats more pin-point jabs as she struggles to avoid losing another round!

Round 7:
Irina has build a nice lead on the cards but she wants to smoke the upstart blonde into a proper mess and scampers across the sand to resume the head-hunting attack. Joy still hasn't found her way in the counter-punching response and bounces off the top of the brunette's shoulders while getting dumped into reeling mode again. Shayk almost gets carried away by her bullying ideas too much and begins to swing wide of the mark as the younger woman finds a late belter on the solar plexus and settles into a rare jug muggin' effort which finally slows the Russian down. Irina rocks Corrigan with a hook on the temple but gets thumped between the bumpers repeatedly as another clash of heads sends both girls reeling... Irina swings and misses and gets NAILED with a brutal uppercut on the jaw that sends her CRASHING DOWN ON HER KNEES a split second later! Oi, boi! Where did that come from? Joy finds a lucky punch right at the death and allthough the bell saves Shayk from a instant demise, the Russian complains she tweaked her ankle during that exchange. Huh! Still better than tweaking your jawbone, right?

Round 8:
Maybe something is wrong with Irina here after all as she struggles to move around and gets swamped into a jug tussle that leaves her reeling on the heels. She almost stumbles to the side and eats another hook on the jaw that makes her gurgle in pain... Joy barks in her efforts but finds little resistance once she gallops into the brunette's jugs who wilts under pressure while making more painful noise along the way... Corrigan plugs her butt-in-ropes and drills the cleavage like she's watched some Kate Upton home video before another bug uppercut on the jaw SENDS SHAYK CRASHING DOWN ON HER BUMS... Ugh! Will someone dust the pretty Russian off the sand, please? Irina battles back to her feet at eight but looks downright spend and keeps compaining about her ankle alas no medical timeout is available under house rules... She rests against the ropes and doesn't move an inch so Joy simply NAILS her on the jaw again and bends sideways into loud screams that force the referee's hand... HE WAVES THE FIGHT OFF and it's TKO8 Joy Corrigan in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Irina drops down on her knees again and it's a shocking fumble for the Russian model who appeared to have the bout under total control until a late knockdown in the seventh! The Lioness Club crew doesn't buy into the "I tweaked my ankle" excuse but Joy has gotten away with some dirty tricks as well so her over the top reaction is perhaps uncalled for. She throws more sand over Irina's head and wants to rub it into her face as she goes down on her and suddenly both babes begin to roll around the sand for additional amusement... hell, maybe we should have thrown them into the sea in first place? 

Joy actually manages to land on top of her foe but she needs coach Schiffer to provide the sand-in-yo-face rubbing... not gonna happen so a crotch-busting knee leaves Shayk scowling her surrender instead! "Frickin' Russian troll got what she deserved.... don't call this one lucky... I WHUPPED her ass!", no proud blonde wants to admit she's second best to any equally attractice brunette but Joy really takes the high road following this victory.

Meanwhile Claudia Schiffer confirms the Massachusetts native will seek a regular action going forward even as early as the next PPV with the likes of Sara Sampaio targeted as her next opponent: "Joy's really into this blonde vs brunette thing and we believe Sara is well within her reach!"
